"I've bought a debranded HP 6 cores from Geeks.com and 2 other computers.
First, I thought their prices were amazing.
Well, I was wrong. The order showed me I had to pay the price showed for the item + Shipping. That's fine.
No taxes showed here. GOOD! Taxes are included! WRONG again!
Seeing that, I had bought other stuffs as well.
I received the boxes few days to a week later, but I had to pay the delivery boy (Purolator) the full taxes for the items.
I bought many things on the internet before, but never had to face that kind of payment.
NOTE: I've paid the Shipping to Geeks.com and paid the taxes to the Shipping Company!!??? What am I missing here?
Secondly, the 6 cores is defective. I cannot get an RMA from their web site because it leads me to a page error.
I've tried to contact them by phone and their number is not available in my area (Quebec, Canada)
I hope they will do something for me because I am really mad at the moment.
I buy a lot of computers and other electronic equipment per year and thought this was a good company to deal with.
Let see what will happen....."

"I purchased a refurbished HP server with 8 GB of RAM from Geeks.com in Dec 2011. I got busy and didn't have a chance to use it until now (Sept 2012) and it won't boot. After working on it for 1 hour, I have found that 6 GB of the 8 GB of RAM is faulty and DOA. I know I should have tried it during my 90-day warranty period, but I'm still upset that they didn't test the server before shipping it to me.
