"This place is ridculous. Ive baught a computer from them in the past and had the same problems I recently had while trying to buy another motherboard for the computer I had baught a year ago. I placed the order about a week ago and was told it would be shipped in 3 days. " I ordered a MSI 6378 motherboard from 7BYTES (They also go by Compu-Terra - check their ratings under their "Alias" name Compu-Terra). Their website showed that it supported up to the Athlon XP2400+ cpu. I received the board and my new XP2400 wouldn't boot in it so I figured that it might just need an updated Bios so I went to MSI's website to get the latest one. That's where I noticed that MSI stated that only revision 3 and above of the 6378 motherboard supports the XP2400 that I have. The motherboard that they sent me was an old revision 1 board. Looking at MSI's site appears that only revision 2 and above even support the XP cpu. I contacted 7Bytes email support and a Tech there gave me the run around about it might be Bios needing updated but I sent him the link at MSI's site and explained that not only will a revision 1 board not support the XP2400 that I have (like they stated it would) that It doesn't even support the XP cpu at all according to MSI!! He has since ignored my emails. These people are crooks and should be taken off Pricewatch!! Beware - I would not have touched this board with a ten foot pole if I had know that it didn't support the XP processor. Damn bunch of liers!! Hopefully you won't make the same mistake that I did dealing with them.
