"I ordered a Sony MSA-128A memory stick. Web site stated it was brand new in original packaging. I paid $54.0 and it is the cheapest price I have found yet. Ordered it over the phone instead of through the internet so I could ask some questions before buying. I asked the sales rep if the product was new to make sure it was not a refurb, return, or used. I also asked about their return policy and restocking fee. I stated I found their company and price on PriceWatch and I received a discount on the web site price. I also received a HUGE discount on the shipping. Shipping went from $15 to $4.75. I immediately received my order confirmation and tracking number via e-mail. I received the product via FedEx in 2 working days. Examined my CC bill and I was billed correctly. I immediately tried the product and it works great, as expected. I was not pushed to buy anything else and the sales rep was extremely friendly on answering my pre-sales questions. I will definitely buy from this company again; especially if their prices are this low."

"I ordered a Radeon 8500 VidCard w/64MB DDR. (not the 8500LE) I bought this card because I needed to be able to output to a TV. I received the card and it output to a monitor just fine. I didn't get to test the TV output function until August. It didn't work. I went round and round with ATI tech support and they could come up with no reason why it didn't work. I even tried the card in another computer with a different motherboard and it still didn't work. I then borrowed a friends ATI All in Wonder 7500 in my computer and it output to the TV just fine, so there is no problem with my motherboard/BIOS (ie video ROM greater than 32 IS supported)Sooo, I called 7 Bytes and explained the problem, I asked if I could swap out and pay the difference to get an All in Wonder 7500 from them and they said no because it was past 30 days. Fine, so they gave me an RMA and I sent back the 8500. Turn around time for the replacement 8500 was about 2 weeks. So, I try the replacement 8500 and surprise, it doesn't work. So I have sent them an email with a proposition (a very good one). When I bought the 8500 it was $140. Now they sell it for $107. The All in Wonder 7500 (that I know works) sells for $141. I will send them back the 8500, have them credit my account for $107, I will send them an additional $34, and in return, they send me the Radeon 7500. I sincerely hope they take this offer, as the only reason I bought the card was for it's TV Output capabilities. I'll report back with their response.
UPDATE!!!
Spoke with Anita today 11-4-02 and they will send me the 7500 if I send back the 8500 w/$34. Awesome. This company really will work with customers. I will buy from them again.

"Placed an order for a barebone system, assembled and tested. As promised, the PC worked beautifully.

They state that shipping time is 5-7 days for processing and 3 days for shipping. I received my PC exactly 7 days after purchase.

When I called to add a modem to the order, the salesperson was kind, professional and knowledgeable.

This is a top-knotch operation offering great value for your dollar. Remember, an unhappy customer tells an average of 11 people about their experience. Unfortunately, we are satisfied with the service we receive we tend to tell only 3 people about our experience. I will continue to purchase!!

"I placed an order early on Wednesday and was told item would ship next day and to expect email confirmation. Never received confirmation so I called them Thursday and was told item is in stock but wouldn't ship until Monday because I wouldn't pay extra for Fedex shipping. What the ??? Is business so good that you can afford to treat customers like this? I cancelled the order and will buy elsewhere."

"Great company!

Personally, I prefer to wait couple days for my new parts, and get good items then to get quickly something that won't work. I received motherboard and CPU combo from Compu-Terra within a week from the order placement date, and it was assebled and tested by them WITH NO CHARGE!! Sales rep was patient enough to explain me the difference between retail box and OEM, and e-mailed me a confirmation right away. I got another confirmation with the tracking number in 3 days.
Very nice people work there, and I would definately recommend Compu-Terra to my friends and family!

"i ordered 2 external USB 2.0 cases with 80gig drives.... they tooke twice as long as stated to arrived, then one of them was defective.. that took 4 days to get a hold of any real person.. then I am tiold I have to pay to return it!?!??!?!

I have finally gotten the drive back and it works...

I will NEVER purchase from these people again. Terrible customer service and shipping practices. I have warned sevreal people about them and will continue to do the same.

"have purched from this company a few times. never sent thru mail, they are 30 min away from me so i always pick up. no problems with that, no 'handling' fees, so i really cant comment about how they are with shipping. Thier sales staf is friendly, small opperation of about 20-30 russians, 10 sales and 20 builders or so. They have good prices on RAM and cases. one time they did charge me twice for one stick of ram. probably a mistake, but i see that problem posted here so many times i wonder if the resellers arent trying to screw over people at random."

"I purchased a hard drive on the 7th of July, received email on 8th that order had been shipped. On July 18th while I was wondering where in the heck my drive was, I received another email stating that it had just been shipped. I replied with a stern email questioning the status and received an immediate response that they were sorry and had the shipping stepped up to Fed-Ex 3-day. I received my drive 2 days later.

Their shipping needs some work but they were polite and professional in dealing with the problem.

"I rated this company because they are a terrable company. I ordered a bare-bones system.
This system contains:
1. 1 Power Supply Unit(400 Watt)
2. 1 Atx Case w/ front usb ports
3. 1 Mother Board
4. 2 sticks of 256 Megs of ram
5. 1 Diamond Viper II savage 2k

And the problem I'm having is that the computer cycles power randomly. I have no blue screen no warning. Nothing. I've replaced everything for various reasons... including the mobo,vid,ram. The power supply has ruined 5 hard drives and they couldn't tell me to send it in... they want me to PAY them for testing purposes!!!
This company is bad news... do not by from them... If you want to figure out for your self just listen to the answering machine for tech support

"Ordered a barebone system, they claim to fully test thier products before shipping.Dont belive this, this company will rip you off. I am currently going through actions to get my money back. the barebone i bought did not work and thier so called tech support says you have to figure it out yourself and send whats bad back to them (your cost) so they can make it right with you. There is great companys to give your money too. this company is shady, and a fraud. and as you see from reading other ppls comments they just changed thier name so they can take advantage of more consumers."
