"I ordered a CPU from Code Micro, which on their website said 10 in Stock, on a Sunday with expressed shipping. When the product did not arrive on Thursday, I called and was sent to voicemail. So I went on line, and looked at my account. There was no reference to my order. I called again and was sent to voicemail. This time, I told them to cancel my order and refund the bill they had already charged me. 10 min later I called to just find out what was going on, I spoke to someone in sales. He said they sent emails requesting to swap out the product. When I told him, NO YOU DID NOT, emails are traceable you know. He told me the order was canceled. I told him I just canceled it 5 minutes ago. Do yourself a favor, don’t use them."

"I too have found that their website does NOT keep proper inventory statistics. I ordered a part with a listed quantity of 2 in stock , only to have it cancelled the next day. Because I still needed this part a week or so later I noticed that their website still showed 2 on hand. I emailed their customer service about this hoping they may have gotten some in...I received no reply. It has now been 18 days, and the site still shows 2 on hand.

The only positive, is that they cancelled the order relatively quickly and never charged the card.

"The quantity in stock shown on their web site is pure fiction. I ordered something that was listed as 564 in stock. I received an order cancellation email the next day saying the product was not in stock.
I give them two stars for being truthful and replying quickly. At least they didn't charge my credit card and string me along for months.

"We purchased a Dell XPS 730 reman. water pump from CodeMicro. The CPU bracket standoffs were reinstalled backwards. My technician only noticed that after damaging the motherboard during install. We had to eat the cost of a new motherboard as a result. Will be much more cautious when buying from CodeMicro in the future.

FOLLOW UP: CodeMicro and I have come to a resolution regarding this issue. We agreed on a 50% refund due to the above error, since it was half the fault of the part and half our part for not inspecting the part upon arrival. CodeMicro has adequately resolved our issue. Thanks!

"I ordered the wrong part thinking I was ordering a motherboard from this site. It took forever to get an invoice emailed to me. It would have been quicker if they had sent me the invoice over "snail-mail." I then proceeded to request an RMA. It was approved and 4 days later I'm still waiting for my RMA number and shipping address so that I can get some of my money back. They only give me a 10 day window to return the product. Oh and by the way, they charge a $25 restocking fee on a $40 dollar part... Can I pick zero stars?"

"This company does nothing but bait and switch. We purchased two sets of RAM for a CISCO router listed as in stock, and were first told that the RAM was OEM and then, refurbished. Then the orders were cancelled for stock error, but then the price on the website changed and went up 10 fold.

Avoid these thieves.

"This place is a sham. They do not have what the advertise. I never received what I ordered....they never called....I called and they admitted they did not have...but they never refunded my money....I am filing a chargeback today with my credit card. Do not waste your time with these folks."

"Do not trust what they have on their site about product availability. I ordered a product that they stated they had 50 in stock overnight. They also stated on the site that it ships today. When I had not received a a shipping confirmation, I called the next day to get a tracking number. I was told that my order was cancelled because they did not have it in stock. When I asked why the website still showed 50, I was told that that was all done manually and it doesn't always get updated. I didn't even get a notification that it was cancelled. I only found out because I called.

Really? If your inventory control is so poor then you should not make such representations about availability and shipping.

"Talked to a rep about a motherboard I needed. Was quoted a price and told the CPU and RAM were included with the board. Ordered 3 boards for a project. Received boards within 1 week, credit card was charged. However, CPU and RAM were missing. E-mailed rep regarding missing parts. He stated that he would have to look around for them. Then got a message from him saying he couldn't find any anywhere. On their website, the processors were listed for sale (and stated there were 79 in stock) and the RAM was available. When I asked if they would be willing to just ship me those, I was told it couldn't be done. Only way to get partial credit was to send boards back for full credit. Also, although we requested an invoice several times, we never received one. Just the packing slip. The rep was very distant and really didn't seem to care that what he had quoted was not what was shipped at an outrageous price.

Prior to this order, I contacted another rep via phone about 2 motherboards that were listed on their site. When I asked questions about the boards, he acted like it was an imposition to have to answer any questions about anything. When I went back to the site, the price of the boards had gone up by
$50.00 and were still shown as in stock.

I will never do business with this company again. Trying to return the 3 motherboards now that I decided I didn't want to try to make work due to CodeMicro's attitude. Custmer Service is the No. 1 priority in my line of business and it is hard for me to provide good service when there are unethical vendors out there stating they are honest and reputable to take my money.

"We purchase repair parts in order to service computers and printers within Orange County Public Schools. We are pleased that Code Micro often has parts available that other vendors do not. While the price is about the same as many of the other vendors, price is not the only issue we use in selecting a vendor. If the product we purchase is not defective and we receive it in a timely manner, and all transactions go smoothly, this is more important. We have had to drop vendors who tended to sell us defective parts and then make the RMA process very difficult. We know that with many of these Dell Optiplex parts, it is not easy to insure a refurbed (or even new) part will not break down due to bad capacitors. We are very satisfied with Code Micro."

"First time shopper @ Code Micro, good price, very good service. However, the product, IBM Lenovo Thinkpad 41++ 9-cell 7800 mAh battery model 40Y6797 does not have the manufacture's battery life of 9.4 hrs in T500, only approximately 2.5 hrs in my T500 with wireless on. Product rating very unsatisfied.
