"Ordered several times from them in the past. Lately, I received about $500 worth of cigars. Dried out, impossible to revive. Junk. Now, the last batches I won, they did not even bother shipping anymore. Reached out to their "support" via email - zero response for 3 days now. Called them, spent about 30 minutes in the wait queue - zero response.
The can shove their cigars up the other ends of their mouth, I will not spend another dime here."
"Cigarbid will NOT answer customer service EMails or phone calls. Worst experience EVER!. Won four auctions. Two show Backordered and "Processing" since July 12th. How do you run an auction for product you do not have? How do you NOT contact a customer with questions? How do you not offer to at the BARE MINIMUM offer to ship the product they DO HAVE?
Super dissappointed and also could not get anyone to the phone from Parent company Cigars International. Are they going out of business? Been buying form them over 12 years. This is VERY close to driving me completely away. Lets see if they respond to this.....

"After numerous years of buying cigars (occasionally) from this site I have yet to have any issues with shipping, mis-statements, over-charging or any other screwups. I will say here that since I have had no issues I also have had no reason to call on Customer Service for any problem resolution, so I cannot speak to that aspect of the site. But this is a site that requires the cigar buyer to do diligent homework beforehand (regarding the value and quality of cigars) before bidding. Also, it is not the site for those who cannot control themselves when bidding. Know what you want, why you want it, what its actual market value is and what you can afford to pay before you get caught up in the excitement of bidding. There are a lot of bargains to be had from this site. But know also that sites like this exist to: 1) move out product overstocks to make room for new product (there may be a very good reason for the overstocks) 2) re-introduce an old but venerable cigar line that has been generally unavailable for some time, 3) introduce a new line to test consumer likes or dislikes, etc. This is not a site to replace the individual Cigar Stores. Cultivating a relationship with a trusted dealer is still a very important aspect of understanding the world of Handmade Cigars. Support them. But, there is no way a site like this continues to serve so many buyers if even a preponderance of users felt the site deserved just One Star. Something isn't 'kosher' here. 4-stars, given my personal experience."
"I ordered two boxes on 7/4/22 I was charged & notified that the items shipped on 7/5/22 today 7/20/22 I have yet to receive the shipment. Tracking info states items were never received by USPS I've tried calling everyday and have been unsuccessful to reach anyone I've also left numerous emails that have gone unanswered. Poor customer service & shady business practices to say the least. At this point I don't know what else to do because I can't even get a refund."
"In January, 2022, I had a winning bid on a box of cigars. I gave them a change of address from Springfield, IL to my winter home in Bradenton, FL. They sent the cigars to the Springfield, IL address anyway. I had a friend coming down to Florida, and she brought them down.
In June, 2022, I won another bid, and had the address changed back to my address spring, summer, fall address in Springfield, IL. Where did they send they supposedly send the cigars this time? To the Florida address. I caled them twice, and was put on hold, 17 minutes the first time, 25 minutes the second time. Extremely dissatisfied with CIGARBID. Have had no problems with Cigars.com, or Cigars International."
"Cigarbid has screwed up my account and won't send cigars I bid and won. I have sent emails to resolve, no response, I have called customer service over and over only to be put on hold for 20 to 30 minutes without ever being answered. This outfit is a ripoff that avoids any and all responsibly. "
"Ladies who respond when you call, they come off really nice and helpful. I do appreciate that. BUT my shipping preference is Tues, which gives me the opportunity to win auctions over the course of a few days. On Tues 6/14/22, the date my order was intended to ship, my order triggered my CC fraud protection so I called my CC company and authorized the transaction. This was accomplished at 7:30am PST (or 10:30am EST). I feel at worse, the failed first attempt should have pushed my shipping back by one day, but only if resolved the issue late in the day, but I rectified the situation before noon, their time. My GOD, I was told on 6/14 that we were good to go, giving me the impression that it would ship that day, but NO, I never received an email and the order status on the site indicated that it had not shipped. Tried calling Wed 6/15, but I messed up by calling at 2:30 PST which is after 5pm EST, and they were closed/unavailable for the day, but still no email or indication on their site that items have shipped. Called Thurs 6/16, at 6:10am PST (or 9:10 EST) and spoke with an CSR and asked why my items have not shipped. They apologized and said they would email their warehouse and that it should ship later that day. It didn't. No email and site didn't have items status as shipped. Friday 6/17 I called again at 6:30am PST, they again apologized and said it would ship later that day but at this point I am confused as to why items have not shipped after called day after day and am **** as to why they keep lying. At 12:15pm PST (3:15pm EST), I still hadn't received an email and the status on their site indicated item have not shipped, and I called to say if they items do not ship today, cancel my entire order. They agree, but I am ****, don't even want the items because I should have received the items on Friday and enjoyed them over the long weekend. Later, on Friday at 7:43pm PST, I get the email that the Items have shipped at 7:53 EST but no other information as to ETA. WTF. Saturday 6/18, the shipping email indicated that it was in transit 4:54am EST with an estimated delivery date of Thurs June 23. Will not be ordering again, ever. Screw these guys"

"Cigar Bid NEEDS to implement a email or text notification when a package was delivered, like Amazon does today. Because they do not do this, packages get stolen that sit on a porch."
"I won a couple of lots of the CAO Gold cigar. They sent me a different cigar. NO response after THREE attempts at contacting customer service, so I called ..... been on hold for 15 minutes. I have had very bad experiences with them before and same thing played out.... they operate at a very low level of professionalism and don't care a whit about their customers. Buyer Beware!"
