so you can give them a fraud rating right after
you order better yet if you should get in your
car with your ps2 and geton the highway
hit 80 miles per hour and throw it out the window
and then do a u turn and go back for the busted parts and you still would have more of a chance of geting your ps2 back i sent my ps2 there 04-21-2005 and still have not got any response at all from theys people they should be stoped
and should never granted an online store ever

"I placed an order with ChipDealer on the 6th April and received an e-mail from them on the 15th to say my order was being shipped. Good turn round, or so I thought. Called Fedex on the 21st to see where my goods were. They had not received them. As of today 11th May I have called 10 times and not been able to speak to a live person (their phone voice mail is now full and not accepting any more calls) I have left 10 e-mails and no reply. I believe they have gone out of buisness. So whatever you do you should not place an order with them. They are running a fraudulant buisness "

"I purchased a Premodded Xbox w/ Xecuter 3 chip and nothing else.

After alot of run-around, I realized I was a victim of these con-artists. Getting the same thing as numerous other buyers, Package data transmitted and nothing else.

They claim it takes awhile for fed-ex to update their website, But after all the orders I've placed using fed-ex, I have had to only wait like maybe 8 or so hours at the most for it to update.

They claim that it was shipped, But its over 3 weeks later and of course nothing.

I have already filed a dispute over the charges and received my money back from my bank.

- BUYER WARNING - DONT GOTO THIS PLACE AT ALL, THEY ARE FRAUDS. THEY HAVE OVER 20+ PEOPLE WHO THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO AND ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS I AM IN.

ALSO, TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS. THE PEOPLE HERE CLAIMING THEY ARE SATISFIED, ARE PROBABLY PEOPLE THAT ARE FRIENDS WITH THEM AND OF COURSE THEY ARE GONNA SAY GOOD THINGS. LIES!!!!!! ALL LIES!!!!!!!!! JUST TO SNAG YOU!!!!

"Lets start this review with a line from the movie Scent of a Woman, Al Pacino says, "This is such a crock of S---". This is what chipdealer.com is. I ordered, waited the amount of time specified on their wedsite and never received the Xbox, a tracking number, and none of the phone calls or emails were returned. I finally canceled my order and had to dispute the charge. Something funny, when I did email them and cancelled my order, they sent an email saying my order had been declined. Well if my order is declined why didn't you send me my money, why did I have to dispute the charge?

I have visited chipdealer on Efnet and have watched time and again many unhappy customers complain about not receiving tracking numbers or merchandise. I only wish I would have ran into this website before ordering.

If you do go to Efnet look around and see who is on, all their friends are the ones giving them good reviews. Of course you are going to take care of your friends and screw the REAL customers.

So what is my next move? Since I'm only a 2 hour drive from San Marcos I am going there. If anyone has their address please send it to me.

Myself, I went to socalmods.com and ordered the Xbox. I am going there to pick it up personally, and then pay for it. Update, went today, 05-17-05 and picked it up. Manny was great to deal with. He even hooked it up to his tv and prove to me it really works. Great job Manny!

My advise for everyone out there, please, please, please stay away from chipdealer.com and order from someone else. Save yourself a great deal of heartaches, go somewhere else to get your Xbox.

"This store is a scam, they send you a broken ps2 that is probably bought from someone's junkyard that looks semi new. They forgot to give me my memory card that I have paid for with the order. They never answer emails, you cannot talk on their IRC channel, and phone voicemail box is always full. Stay away!!"

"Ordered a HD Advance and Network Adapter for my PS2 on Sunday. Shipped out on Monday, and I got it on Wednesday. Checked them both out, and it works great. the network adapter didn't come in original packaging, but all materials including manuals and CD were originals.

When I entered the order, I mistakenly entered the wrong ship to state, and so I went onto IRC to get that fixed (the zip code was right, the state was wrong). When I got the shipment, the state was corrected.

Overall, very happy with chipdealer.

"Placed order feb.10 for dms ezi pro modchip, by apr.6 I had to dispute the charge on my card. Phone calls and emails went unanswered/unreplied to 100% of the time. The only way to get any "help" is to join their IRC channel and hope that someone is around (which is practically never).

If you were lucky enough to come across this site before making a purchase from chipdealer, do yourself a favor and make your purchase elsewhere (I recommend divineo, shipped my product 1 day after ordering, and much better prices). You'll save yourself a big headache. I really wish I had seen this site before I made my order. As do the many other dissatisfied customers I saw complaining in their support channel the last 2 months.

Take it from me, steer clear of these guys.

"I placed an order with ChipDealer.com on March 18th, 2005. During the order process I thought I was taken off site and asked to verify my card number and password and a password recovery phrase. I didn't think much of it at the time becasue everything was going smooth. After I answered the questions, I was back on there site with no problems and I was told the transaction completed.

I ordered the Chip + Front Panel.

Two days later, I got a call from my credit card company about fraud transactions. Didn't think much of it, closed the card.

Then later in the week I got an email from PayPal. Fraud in that account.

Looking back, I used the same password.

I got an email from some guy who's PayPal account was also victimized. My funds were being routed through his account. After taklking with him, he ordered the same items on the same day from ChipDealer.com and used his PayPal password on that site.

I did receive an invoice from ChipDealer.com and also a tracking number. I have not received any product yet. When I look up the tracking number on FedX it says the package Data was transfered to them, but I do not believe they actually received the package to deliver yet.

If anybody else has this problem, look me up.

"1 month, 5 e-mails, 3 phone calls.. No Item. This place sucks. I did get a message, I'm not sure if it was from them of some Internet scam. It asked me to reorder, there was an error, I'd get a 5% discount. I didn't believe the e-mail, even though it looked legit. I got duped once, not again."

"I purchased one GBA to Flash Linker, and it took some heavy inquiry before they would even ship the order. Customer support is hard to even reach. Eight days later, the status updated to "Complete", but no tracking number... They didn't even ship at overnight shipping, as I paid for. Otherwise, I would have my item by now. I am doubting I will get the item at all now. I considered doing future business with them if this went well, but thankfully I didn't lose too much."

"I purchased an item from Chip Dealer on 2/27/05. It took them until March 3 to ship the item even though it said on the site items ship within 3 business days. In addition, I paid $12 for the 1 - 2 day shipping but when I called FedEx they said Chip Dealer only paid for basic shipping and it would take 5 days for my shipment to arrive. In addition, they spelled "Los Angeles" incorrectly which I luckily corrected with FedEx or the package could have been delayed even further.

These people are incompetence at best and commit fraud at worst. I've sent them an email demanding my $12 and will post a follow-up whether or not they respond. My guess is that they won't; they never responded to the emails I sent asking for the status of my order.
