"Worst customer service I have ever dealt with and horribly ran company.
Was told they do not have first in first out order process. Your order (after being charged to your credit card and shown in stock) is sent to the warehouse closest to your address. If your warehouse runs out, they just cancel your order (3 days later). People ordering hours after you can continue to get the product shipped because they are coming from different warehouses. The customer service rep had the worst “I do not care” attitude ever. She even said not giving rain checks would not hurt their business and they were doing just fine. I may not mean much to their business but they have lost mine.
More or less I was just shocked by how this was handled. All it would have taken for me and I'm sure all the others was a "sorry, we screwed up, here is a rain check or here is a 10% code for your next order." Instead, they act as if nothing was their fault at all and do not care that you are upset.
It seems the customer service reps have the same attitude as the management making the policies at this company. I also have to question Newegg here. After years and years of my business, I cannot believe they let this company operate like this. I will think twice before ordering from Newegg from now on.

"I purchased two Samsung Spinpoint F4 320 GB HDDs, which are currently the fastest 7200 RPM hard drives in benchmarks. I was worried my order would be canceled like other reviewers have experienced, but luckily I had my order shipped the next day. I suggest you give them a try before turning a blind eye.
I decided to buy at CV over Newegg because CV offered free shipping for the same price, unlike Newegg who'd like to charge ~$8 shipping for both drives. I have yet to receive the drives. I will edit this review once I receive them.

"Terrible company with terrible management and terrible customer service, and too bad it's a Newegg company. Canceld my paid order, claiming it was on back order. Then it claimed that my credit card was invalid. Both of the claims are false and absurd.
Custormer service refused to offer rain check for the order I have already paid, refused to let me talk to the manager, refused to comment on restocking the item, although it was a EVGA GTX460 a popular graphic card, and acted out a highly distainful episode with her abhorent, accented, bureacratic tone.
The back of the story was that the discount for a combo deal was mistyped, so the -$5.99 became -$59.9, and Chiefvalue tried to hide from its mistake. If it were in other countries, say in Taiwan, the seller is obliged to deliver the item by law. But this Newegg company simply turned thug-like and resorted to the cheapest way to shun from its mistake.
When a company is overly grown and fat, it loses its conscience. Newegg is NOT new anymore. Its trifling baby companies like Chiefvalue demonstrate this. Boycutting them from now on."
"This site is a joke. As a site affiliated to Newegg I would have expected better service...
First: I placed my order at 7:58pm on the 29th and it was cancelled the next day at 8:30pm. I received two separate e-mails, one stating that they had gone out of stock, the other stating that my order had been cancelled "due to credit card decline over 3 business days" which they say could be "caused by variety of reasons, but it most likely occurred due to an invalid credit/debit card number, incorrect expiration date, exceedance of your daily limit, or insufficient funds available" all of which are untrue.
Secondly: I heard of people placing orders well into the next day i.e. 10am on the 30th and getting their orders through with tracking numbers within the hour.
How is it that ChiefValue could let a last in, first out order process? It should always be a first in, first out order basis. If they had gone out of stock, the later orders placed should have been cancelled and the earlier orders fulfilled instead of the other way around. The only way I can see that they rectify this situation is to let those who had ordered earlier and had their orders cancelled due to insufficient stock make the purchase at the price ordered when they come back into stock. I don't see that happening though.
Both ChiefValue as well as Newegg have lost my business. Not only because ChiefValue has shady company practices, but because Newegg is apparently the parent company of this other site. How they can be okay with the QoS of CV is beyond me. Also, Newegg is no longer the cheaper alternative to electronic purchases on the net. Search and you'll find out who has the better prices."

Don't let their anonymity fool you, they are a NewEgg company with the same products and dependability as NewEgg. You can count on CV to provide a better price and the service you expect from the top names in internet sales. "
