"Last year I was in need of quite a few western digital caviar black hdds. I placed 2 orders with chiefvalue. All were shipped fast all were packed well all were the lowest price I could find on the net. They are under the umbrella of newegg and both boxes that came to my house were newegg boxes. The important thing to know is they were about 9 dollars cheaper per drive then buying them from newegg. So now if I need computer gear I look at newegg and chiefvalue to see which one is priced better. Since all the drives worked I did not deal with customer service.

The down side is the search engine is only so so and they have a lot less gear to pick then newegg. In my case I purchased 6 hdds and saved about 55 dollars. I look at their site when ever I look at newegg. This is a followup of my sept review as I purchased more hdds and was very happy with price and quality . my first order was for 3 drives as was my second order. the first order was invoice number 443848 order number 12045533 placed on august 18th 2010."
