Horrible card

"I have the Carter’s credit card for over 1 year , is been since 2020 that my card is not working every time That I tried to order online the card shows declined , I called customer support more than 20 times nobody knows what’s happening with the card , the last option was to replace the card which they never sent , I ask a lease to expedited a new card since This issue is not resolve , they told me they don’t do expedited is like they don’t care , at the end I told the customer services rep that I’m closing my card because There’s is not purpose for me to have it if the card don’t word she was like why you closing the card if I ordered I new one "

Terrible Custom service!!!

"DO NOT EVER APPLY FOR CARTER’ CREDIT CARD!!! Shopping at Carter’s outlet at Crossings in Tannersville. Asked at checkout if I wanted to open a credit card. Said I would get 25% off of today’s purchase. I asked twice if they were sure I would get it off today and was told yes. Filled out application and submitted. Said I would know in 10 days if i was accepted. So they lied to my face , twice! I was furious .I told girl if I didn’t get off today’s purchase I wanted to cancel card. Told me they could not do it. Asked for phone number. Went straight to car, spent 25 minutes getting in system. Told they didn’t have my information and they could do nothing for 10 days . Asked for supervisor and when I asked for their name they hung up on me. Called the following day. Had to ask for supervisor again, told again nothing they could do.I asked where the information was, not able to tell me. Asked for someone above them....unable . Said I would just have to wait and get the card in and then cancel. Told them it would then affect my credit rating....no one cared. NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. DON’T ANYONE EVERY APPLY FOR CARTERS CREDIT CARD!"

Not Worth it!

"Well as the majority states a Carter's credit card is definitely not worth what you "save". I've paid more in fees than I have in the actual store. There was an error on their end and I was charged an NSF fee of $29, that won't be credited back to my account because they would have to go through their bank. Whatever you do shop clearance. I like Carter's as a store but the way the credit card works isn't beneficial to the moms or parents. In my opinion don't take the hard inquiry for a card that;s all for making money off of you with no real benefits."

Never shop their online store!!

"I ordered some onesie 12/9/2019 for my baby. Signed up text notification (thank god so I have prove ). I know it might be really busy during holiday shopping so I understand them ship on order on 12/18/2019. Package arrived 12/24. onesie are long enough but too snug so I decide to follow the online process and prepaid label to returned it. got a notification of the following (direct copy of the text ):

Jan 6th 2020(next year)
Good news! We have received your returned items. Please allow up-to 30 days for your refund to hit your original payment account.

30 days? Sure. Then I waited till Feb 8th, nothing happend so filed a dispute with my credit card. With a new baby busy life I forgot about it. But once a while I sit down to check all accounts to make sure everything in place. Found out today is already March 1st 2020. Still no refund. So I called my credit card company. You know what is the Carter's response to them? Reoccurring charge!! I said to the female agent, I said I am sure you shop clothes online before and possible returned stuff didn't work out before, when it was reoccurring charge before since it is not a subscribers subscribtion. With the text Carter's send to me themselves even says they got the return we will refund you within 30 days. Never, ever, ever, never again Carter's!! Did I say NEVER!!

"I ordered items twenty days ago that still haven't shipped. Carter's needs to get it together to play in the delivery game. This is unacceptable, and I will NEVER order from Carter's or Oshkosh again. "

Shockingly bad!

"Wow, I don't think I've come across such a terrible customer experience in a while! Placed an large order online mid November, shipping was free, but nowhere did it say that it would take 3 weeks! Tried cancelling it, but gave up after over 30 minutes on hold with customer service.
By the time the order finally made it, I no longer needed the items (had to go to the store and buy), so I shipped the whole thing back. It's been over a month since Carters received the return and they still haven't processed a refund. I emailed them, the response is super slow and they keep asking me for details that I already included in my email, like order number, tracking number, returned items etc. So they just received the return but wouldn't bother returning the money! So frustrating

Longer than usual wait

"From my first experience, I really try to avoid ordering from the website, but the store near us doesn't have a good selection. I've seen pretty much the same clothes, specifically, sleepers since several months ago. My daughter had a baby in October, and every time we go in there...the same sleepers. So I ordered this dress and tight set. The order was placed, according to them, on 11/22/19. On 11/26/19, there is no update. I order frequently online, and so far, this place takes the longest. My daughter likes this place, but I don't know why. I think the clothes are overly priced and the coupons are only good if you're buying the high priced clothing. It can't be used on blockbusters. It shouldn't matter. When you go in a grocery store, they don't say you can't use a coupon on sale items. I miss Babies R Us. It is so hard these days to find a variety of baby clothing in a STORE."

Non existent customer service!

"I placed my order on the 4/11 today is the 21/11 and I have yet to receive my order. Carters don’t answer their calls, they don’t call back, they haven’t to this day replied to my emails and their automated responses are unhelpful! The most frustrating experience I’ve ever had!!!

My order number is CAR50006178 ... can someone please contact me!!!

This is not a good internat experience

"I made a big order from Carters and paid with Paypal so the website grabbed the wrong address. The Carters site does not allow you to put in a different shipping and billing address even though it looks like you can do it. They give a 45 minute window for changes but do not take into account not being able to get through to them on the phone which had a technical issue recording. When the time limit was up,I was able to get someone that told me I could re order my 19 things and make sure the address was right. I did not feel I should be responsible for their website and phone issues. I cannot afford two separate charges coming out of my account and do not trust the website now. "

"I ordered a few clothes from this company for my kids and I was sent confirmation number and delivery address...I got an email today that my order as been shipped to a different address instead of 681 it was sent to 679 ..I called them ,I was told to call the carrier to change it..horrible customer service "

Beyond Frustrated

"I have been shopping at Carters since my kids were babies (since 2015) and just applied for their new credit card. Upon approval I placed an order that never shipped. In fact, had I not called to check - I would have NEVER known it was "lost." I went through the return process and was told that the credit would post to my account in 3 - 5 business days. STILL WAITING! It's been over 30 days! I have been on the phone with Carters as well as the Credit Card company and I am beyond frustrated. I will NEVER order online again."

Worst shipping experience ever

"I have placed my order on Sunday morning and Thursday evening it is still not shipped - remains in the processing status forever. Every time i try to contact the support - they assure me that it is just about to leave the warehouse. But id never happens. Today they changed to - you can cancel that if you don't want to wait... not a customer-oriented at all"

Incompetent customer service

"I placed an order yesterday morning and got an email later that day. Decided to check and see if there was any new emails today. When reviewing my email from Carters about my order I noticed that the billing address was an address that I have not lived at for almost four years and was baffled As to how they got that address since my daughter is only 2 and I started ordering from them when she was 4months old. So I call the customer service number And a woman answered I tell her what’s going on and she proceeds To tell me that I have to wait for an email in the next 24 hours OR SO to see if it is canceled due to different addresses or to see if it will ship correctly to the right address! So my almost $200 order your telling me is going to go to the other side of the state, to an address I A) never added to this website EVER because B) I haven’t lived there in FOUR YEARS!!! This is a joke! The whole reason why people order online is so they don’t have to deal with crowds of people or traffic OR BECAUSE THEY ARE A MOM and don’t want their little ones who have a hard time shopping, throwing tantrums in the middle of the store!! My order is NOT processed or even has a shipping label! There should be a better communication between the call center and the warehouse in place for matters such as these! I pray to god that my order is shipped to me because if not I will take this matter to another level, but if it is shipped to me, this is my last time ordering from them! Not worth it beware"
