"Childtime at Yorktown has been a second home to our kids! I’ve had 3 children enrolled at Childtime and all 3 have loved their time there! In addition to the teachers being super loving and caring toward my kids, my kids consistently demonstrate that they are more advanced than their friends who attend other schools because Childtime is teaching them such great things! I will truly be sad when my kids have to leave!"

"With the whole coronavirus scare, I’ve been really on pins and needles about my daughter. I’ve been taking all precautions with her and keeping an eye on things going on with her and the other kids at the school. I noticed some unclean practices in her room and several of the other rooms.
1) Babies eating off the floor and from other children .
2) Sharing of bottles and pacifiers.
3) Staff not wearing gloves to change diapers and then going to serve food without washing their hands.
I personally think there are too many children there regardless of staff, the place is just not clean and my daughter has gotten sick multiple times. We have decided to pull her.

"I currently have a little one in the toddler 1 class and overall my experience has not been that great . There are some smiling faces and teachers who are attentive, this is only in the morning with two teachers. When I look at the cameras I usually see two teachers in the morning around and doing things with the kids but there’s one teacher who sits there and holds and attend to one child all day. This wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t see my kid fall in front of her and she looked the other way . I understand there’s a lot of kids in there and there’s only so much the teachers can do , but I feel like this one teacher caters to certain kids . Then there’s the afternoon, and I guess they switch teachers , because there’s a different teacher in there and two teachers from the morning . When I look at the camera on my break , there’s one teacher who does all the work while the other two sit around holding one baby or on their watches. I honestly ,would take my child out if we didn’t live so close . However , when my child turns two we probably go to the academy."

"New director is way less engaging than Nick. I didn’t even now who she is and does not come out of her office during drop off and pick up times. Very disappointed with teachers lack of empathy, engagement, and nurturing. Clearly each child represents dollar signs hence why you stick 32 kids in one class where it’s too loud to optimize learning. I would have moved already if it wasn’t for availability issues. You need new toys and keep the bookshelves stocked for children to access."

"I am pretty happy with the school and the development of my son. The teachers are very friendly. I am not happy at all that you get charged full price if the center is closed for some holidays or teacher training days. You miss a day off work and sadly not everybody is off for all the holidays or has a mo-fr, 8-5 job "

"The teachers are wonderful with the kids and the staff as a whole is welcoming and engaging. The volume level for the music in Toddler 2 has been a excessive a few times when picking up or dropping off which needs to be addressed. Other than that, we have noticed great progress with how our little one interacts and new words they are learning daily. Thank you for taking the time to reach out for reviews."

"I adore this school. It is expensive, but worth every penny. The teachers all really care about the kids and my daughter has attended since she was 12 weeks old (she is 3 and a half now). I love the atmosphere, the style of teaching, and the frequency of outdoor play (even for infants!). Every week I'm shocked at how much my daughter already knows; I feel like she's far ahead of most kids her age and it's all thanks to Childtime!"

The only recommendation I can think of is to provide toys to non mobile children to help keep themOccupied when staff are unable to give them direct attention"
