The teacher in my child's room was very stand-offish when we first started going and I felt as a parent that I was the one who had to initiate a connection, when it should be a two-way street there. Not a lot of 1 on 1 time with the teacher on a regular basis, even when doing pick up, to get a quick report of how my child did that day. Only when something was wrong or if my child was sick."
