POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

"Simply put, I never received the floor mats. I called the customer service line and after an hour hold, I was told to call FedEx. I did so, and held for 45 minutes before hanging up. A subsequent email to CJ PonyParts went unanswered. I am posting this same review on as many social media venues as possible so that other customers are aware of the type of service to expect. STAY AWAY FROM CJ!"

Great webpage hides disorganised behind the scenes and totally inefficient service.

"3 phone calls, 5 emails and 3 webpage email, but they cant be bothered to reply and help a customer choose the right parts. Even just a courteous reply saying they can’t help would be nice.

Horrible Customer Service & Shipping

"2 orders to these guys -- over promised and under delivered -- paid for shipping to get items by a certain day -- they arrived 3 days later -- was given a free shipping on the 2nd order and was told would there in 2 days -- package has been stuck in PA for 3 days now -- when i called customer service, they want to blame UPS/FEDEX and basically told me its on them -- i asked why they would credit me for shipping and promise me a guaranteed date when they cant delivered -- woman got a nasty attitude with me and would'nt take responsibility for her company mistakes -- i just hung on her"

Every thing they sale is a 10

"Sent back 2 braces 4 subfarame after i learn they where inferior to bmr.
CJ would not issue a return label even though i told them i would be buying several thousands of dollars down the road. I got a nasty email from the ceo telling me i should if done my research 1st. Cost me 450 bucks to send the inferior products back. OK I've done my reseach mr. Ceo American muscle or summit racing. No more cj pony works

x lume alluminated pony badge

"I bought this product and after 6 weeks on the car the badge has started to open up and the led light are flickering and some have gone out . I bought through CJ Pony parts just to be told they have a 60 day policy and I didn't want a return just a product that worked . I did an online chat and when I stated that I was not happy with this they then ended the conversation . I went into their site to leave a review and seems to not allow me . Do not buy unless you want a package of disappointment. Shame on you CJ Pony parts .

"I bought 1 month ago a radiator from these people.
I received it smashed on one side but I fixed it. I mounted it in my mustang. The fan was touching the radiator when I was applying the brakes, so I took it out and compared it with my older radiator and find out that I received a defective one. they asked me to send pictures etc.... to get an answer or to talk to someone takes weeks! I asked for an exchange, not a refund and they told me no exchange or refund because fluid was in it. How to know about a defective radiator without installation?
This is my LAST purchase from them.

72 Bronco distributor

"if your an expert mechanic you probably wont have any issues, but if you're a person trying to get your old car to run better by adding modern parts hopping you can rely on the company your buying your parts from to help with the process, CJ pony is not the company. STAY AWAY from CJ pony!! customer service has no clue of what they sell.
I purchased a Scott Drake HEI distributor for a my 72 bronco, and I was excited to get it installed this morning, so I went ahead and took my old distributor off and dropped the new one in, than realized there was no wires to hook up tachometer nor the power cable to the unit, so I went to they're website to see how the distributor was supposed to be wired, there's an installation video below the item, but the person doing the video does not explain anything about installing it, nor that you will need an extra harness to get it to work.
I looked at Scott Drakes website, and nothing there either. I called CJ customer service and after waiting for someone to take my call for 20 minutes they told me that they would look into it and call me right back, it's been 5 hours and no one from CJ pony has called me back. So frustrated!! will never by another item from CJ pony.

I've had great buying experiences with CJ Pony Parts

"I have read 4 or 5 of the reviews and, it seems that my experiences are the total opposite of the one's I read. I've placed 10 orders with them and, haven't had one single problem. There were a couple of screw or bolts kits that were on back order and, they didn't charge me for them until they got them in and, shipped them. Everything that I have ordered has been the price that was advertised and I received what I was expecting. A friend of mine recommended another company to order from before I started ordering from CJ and, 4 out of the 5 parts I ordered were on back order. I would recommend CJ Pony Parts to anyone I know for their mustang needs."

Get your money and hide

"I made an online purchase. "Shipping in 5 to 7 Days" and the 4 items had an "in stock" check mark. Payed with Paypal. Everything seemed fine. 5 minutes later I received an email. "Thanks for your purchase". Suddenly, the items are showing back ordered? That was 10 days ago. No further status from them. When I check my "Order Status on line as instructed, it advises "Back Ordered". No other info. I have tried to call 4 times since and had the "online help" tell me they can only help with buying. 1 and a half hours of on hold screeching commercials later I decided to "Request a call back" rather than hold. Still waiting 2 days later. I want to cancel my order.
These guys have great E-mailers and super aggressive marketing but after sale customer service does not
exist. Time to find better service.

Bad Fuel Injectors in OEM Bags

"CJ Pony parts sent me 6 bad fuel injectors in OEM factory bags. Since the injectors were part of a total engine rebuild we didn't think that the brand new, "factory sealed" injectors were bad. We couldn't figure out why the engine was running too rich and dieing so we had to send it to the shop. That is how we found out that the injectors were bad and it cost me an additional 760 dollars and new spark plugs. CJ Pony Parts is responsible for this additional cost and I filed suit today. "

Substituted parts with Phony Fraudulent Prices

"I have done business with CJ Pony Parts in the past and I guess I was lucky. This order was for numerous parts but also for a "Gas Tank Kit." What they shipped was an assorment of various parts but of the parts were not the same as in the kit description. Example: kit specified a brass float in the sender unit but they shipped a foam float. Too many parts were not invoiced at correct price. Some had phony made-up prices and were VERY different from website prices. Had I been asked to approve substitutes before shipping I'm sure something could have been worked out but I am forced to return the complete order. And of course they refuse to offer any assistance or share the cost for the return. This guarantees I will stop doing business with this company. "

Poor Customer Service

"I ordered an $80 part for my car on 3/22/2019. Received and installed it on the 27th. After one week. the LED bulb failed. Chatted with Tim W. who told me to contact customer service yesterday. Called Customer service line and requested a call back. They did not contact me. E-mailed them. They never responded. Talked to Tim W. today (4/9/2019) and described problem; was tol to contact customer service. Waited on phone 48 minutes (from phone timer); never contacted me or picked up the phone. Still have same problem. Unresolved warranty issue."

"Ordered floor mats and a shirt. Both items in cart. Click pay with paypal. PayPal receipt amount is less than total shown on CJ cart. Amount is for mats only. OK will just reorder shirt. Now 6 dollars shipping. Will just call and get it taken care of. Wrong. They pretty much told me I was stupid and I did not have shirt in cart. It would be new order and shipping would apply. I then sent email just assumed probably got wrong rep. Nope email reiterated what I was told on phone. Will never buy from CJ Pony's again."
