"Stay away from these people. They do not understand simple requests. I emailed twice and called once for them to cancel my order if it could not arrive by X-mas but they still shipped it to arrive first week of January.... and I am moving after X-mas... So now I am not sure what will happen to this... it is a mess just because Buyersedge was not professional. You will face long wait times when you call them for customer service, and even then, they did not help me. These people do not deserve to be in business, and if they are really affiliated with ButterflyPhoto, then you should probably stay away from them too. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! You have been warned."

"I picked Buyers Edge because they had the item I wanted in stock at a low price. Unfortunately, after I placed the order, it became apparent they didn't really have it in stock. After about 5 days of waiting for my order to be processed, I started calling. Every time I spoke with someone, they said it would ship in "about 24 hours" which, of course, it didn't. The customer service reps were rushed and not particularly friendly. I also sent an email to customer service, which they never responded to. When the item (bluray player) arrived, it had been packed poorly -- the box was in a larger box with no packing material, so it had just been rattling around. I won't buy from them again."

"I ordered a Bosch Evolution 300 SHE33M05UC Full Console Dishwasher - Stainless Steel with Black Control on Friday, 4 Dec 2009. It was damaged, and I had issues with the shipping company they used.

12/16/09 10:45 am just got off the phone with Danny at BuyersEdge. He is trying to make things right. He said he would contact me directly with updates on the new shipment. Will update this as necessary.

01/07/10 Charlie and Danny are working to make this right. Since they are trying to fix this, I will POSSIBLY buy a garbage disposal from them too. I do believe these guys are decent people. They are NOT using the same delivery company that possibly damaged the initial product. Again, will update as necessary.

29 Jan 10 Danny & Charlie made things right. It took some time, but I am finally not hand washing dishes. The main issue was the first shipping company they used.

"I rate buyersedge.com 6 of out 10 rating with 10 as the best. My online shopping experience with them was unpleasant first. They advertised Panasonic TZ5 for a low price, but wouldn’t tell me they didn’t have it when I placed order; they left me hanging for week after they knew I didn’t want to buy anything extra. The only good thing was that their customer service person was polite. I canceled my order without problem, immediately after they finally told me they didn’t have the camera. A while later, their customer service manager Dan, a nice gentleman, called me to apologize and explain their mistake. I’m very impressed with his sincere attitude and strong will to do business well and to satisfy customer. I give them 1 for polite customer service, and 5 for their late effort to go all the way to please customer. I believe they’ve learned their lesson. I would likely give them another try in the future."

"Buyers edge is another storefront for ButterflyPhoto. When you call customer service you'll get ButterflyPhoto. ButterflyPhoto has excellent seller reviews. However, I can't give Buyers Edge a good review. I ordered a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 camera for $231+. After going through the obligatory phone call from a sales rep offering to sell me more merchandise, I was told my camera would be shipped. Six days later, still no shipping notice via e-mail. After calling customer service I was told the camera was discontinued and should not have been shown on the website. I was offered the Panasonic ZS1 in its place at the same price. After looking at the specs and reviews for the ZS1 (aka TZ6) the two did not compare well. Also, I'd be able to get it for less $$ elsewhere if I wanted. What irks me is that if you go to the ButterflyPhoto web site, you still CAN get the TZ5, but the price is $299. Makes you wonder why it was discontinued at the $231 price???? Accordingly, if you can't trust a site, don't shop there. That's my 2 cents worth....."
