"I placed an order with these guys and the item ends up being on backorder. Well after 5 business days of being on backorder I still have not seen any change. I have sent them an email stating to cancel my order (which I'm sure they wont) and I have also told them that if in the future a package arives for me from them, I will deny it and it will be shipped back to them unopened. These guys are a horrible company to order from because it turns out my friend had a huge problem with his order as well."

"These guys, seriously need to get their act together. I have waited about five days now, and it still says, 'Checking Inventory'...How many more days will this take?!

It seems that when you buy from this reseller, you sacrifice all that is good for lower prices.

I have tried to phone these people, and get no good advice--I still haven't been able to speak to a real person yet--they recommend that I E-mail them...but ofcourse, This has been done, and I have yet to get a response.

If you want cheap prices, I recommend this place. But if you ever want to see the stuff you ordered, buy from newegg.com.

"I sure do wish I had come here first, because every story I read sounded just like mine. I placed an order on the 17th, was told it would ship on the 19th. Then on the 20th I see on their website that it is backordered, but that day they charge my credit card also. I sent two emails demanding an explanation but got no reply at all. Too bad for them it was on my platinum card and they won't get a thing.DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!"

"BUNTA IS PROBABLY A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!
I ordered a case, motherboard, and hard drive. 2 items I had ordered appeared out of stock the next day and were listed as back ordered. I emailed and told them to cancel the back orders and they replied (rather promply actually) saying that only 1 was out of stock and asking if I still wanted the other 2 items. I told them just to cancel the back ordered item. Sure enough, I never recieved credit back for the unsent item and had to contact the credit card company to remove the charges. If these scam artists don't send your order, dispute it with your credit card company! The only way they could be staying in business is profiting off of people who don't bother to do so.

"Epox 8k5a3+ board was listed in stock. Paid an extra $21 to have it delivered quickly. Two days later it is out of stock. They did cancel the order - good for them. I wish I would have known about this site before I ordered."

"Ordered a LeadTek GF4 Ti4400 video card on Saturday. Status showed "in-stock". On Monday, the status still showed "in-stock" and my order was "being processed". On Tuesday, the status changed to "backordered". I found this hard to believe and proceeded to locate the card from another vendor. Once located, I sent BUNTA a cancellation e-mail, referring to my order number and including an explanation of why I was cancelling the order. That afternoon, the website indicated there was no order pending for my account. I took that as their acceptance of the cancellation. Well, was I ever wrong!!!!!! They still charged my card. I have never seen a company charge your card before they ship the item. Anyway, I'm having the same difficulty as a lot of others (according to this forum). They will not answer the phone or reply to an e-mail. If I haven't heard from them by tomorrow, I'm turning it over to AmEx and my attorney. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS !!!! PERIOD !!! "

Well i ordered the first time and they said my credit card was declined cause of address, but i found out that i just needed to update my address, so i sent em a email and they said they canceled the first one, and they were going to ship my second order of the same thing right away, but since i couldn't get a hold of them i decided to cancel the order a few hours afterwards well before the 12pm pst time. They charged my card twice for 321 bucks, and they sent no email confirming they billed my account. So if this doesn't get cleared up the attourney general is going to get called and a form filed.

"My experience with this company was absolutely terrible.

I was purchasing parts to build a new computer from various websites online. I placed my order with Bunta on July 20th, 2002, which was a weekend, so the order was received July 22nd, 2002.

However, they claim that they will ship the same or next day (depending on the time of day you order) if the item is in stock. I ordered an Asus A7V333, and it was in stock. However, instead of shipping my order out, they decided to just bill me, and let the motherboard sit in their storage area.

I emailed them on July 30th to ask them why my order had not yet been shipped, but they did not respond. After a second email with no response, they fixed my account to say that the order was approved and ready to ship. I then asked them to send the package with overnight shipping, considering I had paid for it to be here, at the latest, by now. I asked them to pay the shipping expenses, since I had, as I said, paid for the package to already be at my house, and the only reason it wasn't was because they were not diligent enough with their orders.

Today, August 1st, I wake up and check my email. I see that they have shipped my order, but it will be here August 7th. I did not pay a lower cost of shipping which would double the time it takes to ship. I paid for it to be here now, and it is not here because of Bunta. They should have seen their error, at least replied to one of the numerous emails, and sent the package overnight or next day in order to remedy the situation.

I would encourage anyone looking for computer products to look elsewhere, if considering Bunta. Had they replied to a single email, or apologized once for their error, or simply remedied the situation in some way, I would not be so disappointed. They showed no integrity, and no customer care. I will never even look to buy from them again.

"I ordered a GeForce4 Ti4400 from this company. The same day they cancelled my order because the shipping address was different than the billing address, even though I calld VISA and told them to allow the different shiping address. But these loons obviously didn't check with VISA before cancelling. I tried to call them to tell them to ship the part, but they wouldn't answer because they were "too busy." So I just now cancelled my order on July 22. However, these MORONS sent me an e-mail saying they cancelled the order and THEY REORDERED THE PART! So I emailed AGAIN to cancell, but this time they tell me that the order cannot be cancelled because it shipped yesterday, despite the fact that I told them to cancell 3 different times before! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, unless you want to deal with crappy customer service, you want to wait 3 weeks minimum for shipping, and you know for sure that you won't be cancelling. This company sucks!!!! I will NEVER order from Bunta again!!!"

"On July 1 2002, I bought a MSI Geforce 4 Ti4400 as part of my new computer that I'm building. All was good until all the other parts for my computer (from outpost.com, amazon, gooddealpc) that were purchased AFTER my video card was all accompanied by emails stating that they were shipped and even including the tracking numbers. While all that Bunta did was charge my credit card IMMEDIATELY and send a confirmation email that acts as a receipt and says they will ship on July 2, 2002. Also, on their "check status" page, it states my order is BACKORDERED and that they are CHECKING INVENTORY... since their online inventory shows it INSTOCK.. and still does show it INSTOCK.

It's been awhile now. After several non-responsive emails and several beatings of my phone on my desk, I returned to the website and noticed a link to a onilne review website, this website. I was overly appalled to find many people with the same problems. Some got their products, and about 90% of them were defective. I became very scared, as this purchase was well over $200, and I really don't plan on waiting for a RMA (which many reviews say don't do $#it). So I did some research on the web, and was stunned to find many websites honoring Bunta.com for their great, fast, and reliable service. So now I stand confused as what to do.

In the process, I found some interesting information that may be of use:
