"Although my bank account was debited, I never received an order which was supposed to be in stock and ship overnight. Repeated attempts to contact the company by all possible means have been unsuccessful. Their phone number refers you to their web site. I wonder if perhaps they have gone out of business? If they haven't, perhaps they should have."

"Purchased an Epox 4SDA5+ motherboard from Bunta. At the time, they were the only online reseller who claimed to have any in stock. The price was good. However, it turned out that the item was actually backordered. Every option within the phone system results in a disconnect, even sales (you'd think that they would be willing to take more money). Sent in multiple e-mails using the form on their Web site, and only one was returned, to the effect that the item would ship that day when a new shipment arrived (despite the motherboard still shown as being in stock). Motherboard finally shipped on 11/12. Everything works, so I guess it was a successful transaction, but it had to have been the worst consumer experience that I've had to date. My recommendation to my friends who want the same board has been to buy it somewhere else."

"Wish I had found this website before I ordered from these people. My story is like many of the others. Waited over a week for the order to ship. Couldn't get anyone on the phone. E-mails went unanswered. Canceled the order and my order information was taken off the website but my credit card was not credited. Had to turn it over to the credit card company. I'll never order from these guys again."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Again, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Their phone number is always recorded msg. They never answer their email. There is no way you can contact them. I ordered Kingston ValueRam 512MB show as in stock on their website. But after I order it was on back order. For 2 weeks I tried to contact them to cancell my order and I just can't reach them. In the end I have to file for a dispute for the order and get VISA to refund my money. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN."

"Purchased DDR 512 meg sdram chip from them, and it was defective. Tried to call them several times, with their phone system droping me at every menu option. E-mailed each listed e-mail address, with never a response. Tried their on-line RAM request. This was a dead end also. All I wanted was a replacement chip. What I got was a defective chip with Bunta never responding to any of my attempts to contact. Went to the BBB for help, after a month. Still haven't heard from Bunta.

Don't make the same mistake I made. Don't buy from them. Find someone, yea even, anyone else.

"Hey guys,
I have the solution on how to get your money back. I've got mine back after trying day and night to get in contact with them.

Send an email to the ****@****, and ****@****, and say that you've been talking to other customers of his and that you will file a joint lawsuit against him in about two weeks and that you talked to Better Business Bureau and to California's Attorney Generals Office. Make it sound that you really talked to your lawyer.
Trust me guys this is the only way to reach that mother f____. I was trying to rach him on the phone and email non stop. No chance. He ripped me off for $137. As soon as i sent this email i got the responce in about an hour. He sent me the refund right away. Dont let this guy slide away. I bet you that many of his customers give up on trying to get their money back. That is how he makes money. He doesn't sell anything. He just rippes people off.

Goodluck guys.
We should all get together and pay that idiot a nice personal visit one day.hehe

"I ordered a GeForce 4 from Bunta got billed at the time of the order. I waited 10 days and it had still not shipped at which time I canceled the order. I have yet to recieve any kind of contact, email or phone, from Bunta about this. I have sent them many emails to several different departments and have also tried contact by phone for over a month now. The order did get canceled, I can no longer find it on their website, but have recieved no refund. I would like to know what kind of recourse I have against them. Thanks for your time."

"I am extremely displeased with this seller. I ordered 512K DDR RAM on November 4th. I received an email the following day that said it should ship on Tuesday the 5th. That was 10 days ago. Order status online is "Searching inventory" My emails remain unanswered and Their phone number is impossible to get through on. I will never do business with this company again. Caveat Emptor"

"I tried to order some computer parts after seeing good prices on pricewatch.com. I put an order in and then received an e-mail saying that my credit card was declined. Not thinking twice I found a different company and ordered the products from them (I used the same credit card). I then get my credit card bill and saw that Bunta had charged my card for $380.90 after they said it was declined (THIS IS ILLEGAL)and on top of that they didn't even send what they had charged my card for. When I went to contact some one so that the mistake could be fixed, like so many before me, my e-mails were not answered and when I called their direct and toll free #'s I would never get a live person. Then I started to do a little homework and here is what I have found:

"This is the worst internet purchasing experience I have ever had. This company does not answer emails or phones. The item I ordered has not been shipped for 5 days already, and I don't know what is going to happen to my order - I am filing a dispute with the credit company.
Bunta.com is registered to some Hong Kong company.
If you are not satisfied with this company, please file a complaint with BBB Online (http://www.bbbonline.org/consumer/complaint.asp), local BBB and California Attorney General (http://caag.state.ca.us/consumers/mailform.htm) - maybe this will change something at last and these guys will be reimbursed for all the fraud they've done! (looking at the messages here)

"I feel like a dupe. I wish I had known about this website before I tried to order my GF4 Ti4400 from bunta.com. I found them on Pricewatch.com as many of the others here have. I made my order and got an email stating that my video card would be shipped out on that day (because it showed 'in stock')and my order status still shows 'Checking Inventory'. After trying to contact them for 2 days, I've recieved nothing in the form of email or phone call to acknowledge my request. The phone system is a joke and email seems to be ineffective. I'm not sure what to do because it looks like I'm to be thrown into the pile just like the rest of you. My only hope, it seems, is to file a dispute with my CC company... but I'm not sure at what point I can/should do that. I'm totally frustrated and wanted this video card quickly... now my money is tied up because of this laughable reseller. "

"I purchased a MSI KT3 Ultra2 motherboard on 10/6/2002. On the Bunta.com website it states that orders will be shipped next day if inventory is on hand. It is now 10/17/2002. The bunta.com website still says that this motherboard is in stock, but my item still has not shipped yet even though my credit card has already been charged. When I check my order status via the bunta.com website, it states "Checking Inventory." I emailed Bunta Technology and received no response, so I then called them. The automated telephone message regarding Order Status referred me to the email address I had already used to try to contact them. I am at a dead end with this company and will never order from them again."
