I ordered hand sanitizer knowing that it would be a 6-8 week wait for it.

"I ordered a one gallon of unscented hand sanitizer, knowing that it would be a 6-8 week wait for it.

It smells so bad and drys out my hand so fast. I cannot use it and no one in my house will use it. I had to open my windows to air out the house after using it.

They misled and sent me a product that I did not order. There is nothing neutral about the smell of this product.

I have used sanitizers before and have never had them dry my hands out so fast that they actually hurt and smell so awful bad.

Can’t use or get a refund

"I ordered 1 gallon of hand sanitizer I knew I would have to wait to get it due to Covid 19 delays. Received order March 2. Tried the sanitizer on March 2 It smelled so bad and after 2 days of showering and hand washing with soap the smell will not go away. This company has profited off consumer fears How dare they sell this product that you can’t use!! $49.95 down the drain. With high unemployment rates people can’t afford to waist good money on bad products. "

Gel hand sanitizer

"Purchased 1 gallon of hand sanitizer. It smells so bad everyone in my house was gagging. It’s unusable. If you did use it I promise no one would come within 6 ft of you, so I guess in that aspect it’s good. Smells like vomit and dirt. "

Dishonest

"The lead time for shipping products was advertised as two weeks. I emailed to cancel my order almost 5 weeks later after no word of shipment. 3 or so days after emailing my wishes to cancel my order, I get an email that my product finally shipped followed by an email that they can “no longer cancel the order because the items have shipped.” I would never recommend anyone to Bulk Apothecary. "

Greedy

"3 weeks, no order. Over $900 spent and no order. I asked for an update and they replied with a template email that said I would get an email when my order shipped but no date and that my order was a final sale. No where on their website does it say the items in my order are a final sale.

My mom ordered $60 of goods yesterday to test the turn time and paid $30 to expedite her order. Her order shipped in 24 hours. She bought essential oils, same as I did.

Greed during a pandemic is unethical to say the least. We won’t be using them as a supplier for our business any longer. They are definitely greed driven but certainly not business savvy.

Zero customer service & horrible product

"We ordered a gallon of liquid hand sanitizer from them about 6 weeks ago. They said it would be about two weeks due to the pandemic. They charged our credit card right away, which resellers should NOT do until a product actually ships. Then we waited three weeks without receiving the product. We tried e-mailing and calling them several times over the 4th week, with absolutely no response from them. Finally we initiated a charge-back through our credit card company. That, and only that, got them to respond. But they didn't apologize or communicate in any other way – they just e-mailed an order status that showed a shipping label had been created. About five days later, we did get the hand sanitizer, so we canceled the card dispute, which we now regret doing. The sanitizer smells absolutely disgusting, and now we see some disclaimer they've since posted on their website that says something like "the formula you get may vary due to the pandemic, and your sanitizer might have a different smell." Yeah, I'd rather get COVID-19 than smell that stench on my hands for the next two months! I twas so bad that we ordered some essential oils to mix with it, but that didn't help at all. So we'll probably have to throw the whole gallon away because "All hand sanitizer sales are final." I then tried to leave a review of the product several times over the last few days, so others might see the cons of ordering the product (that it appears they produce or co-produce themselves). But their site mysteriously won't accept the review. Based on our bad poor experience and the poor quality of the product I received once they finally sent it, I would avoid Bulk Apothecary like the plague, or rather... like the coronavirus."

Bulk apathetic Apothecary

"Reached out to Bulk Apothecary, sent their Sales three (3) emails, they didn't care to respond. Attempted to call them and immediately receive a message there are very busy and unable to answer to phone. Placed an order on March 24th for Hand Sanitizer Gel and i understand there is 'high demand' [I get that] and 'shipping' is two weeks out, but its April 22th and i can't get any response from them, and have not received my order. What i don't understand is there no customer support or lack of customer care, they have no sense of care for customers.
Do not waste your time or money, ordering anything online from them, or their parent company that is run by Gary Pellegrino Jr.

Bulk Apothecary lies purfusly about shipping commitments

"This company has been around and for sure are not scammers. However, you can forget about any truthfulness to what they lead you to believe as a shipping dating and/or fulfillment time to ship.
I understand products like hand sanitizer is a big-ticket these days with the pandemic and all, but they will strictly put 99% of their interest in consummating the order, raking in the cash, and then milking out your desperate patience. It's just now hitting a month, waiting for my HS when "10 days to ship" was on their website info update "before you order."
Two things:
*DO NOT BELIEVE Bulk's own 5-star rating; search the web and learn 2-stars are at best their true customer rating.
*PAY ONLY through Paypal as they will get your money back.
As if to add insult to injury, I shudder to think to have to deal with Bulk's Customer Service and return policy BULL****.

Never Received My Order, was Damaged Enroute and they aren't going to resend it!!!

"


Placed an order on 3/9/2020. On March 25 email saying it had been shipped. On April 11 received an email refunding my order since they were not able to offer a replacement order at this time, since my order was "damaged enroute". This place SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. I ordered 3 gallons of hand sanitizer to be used for people with compromised immune systems. Now they will never get it.

"I ordered what I thought was a gallon of hand sanitizer for $50. Got water or some unknown substance in a clear unlabeled Plastic Fallon jig. Dirty nonetheless. No refund. Ru.n away "

"I ordered 5lbs of lemongrass oil from them, the email said the item was shipped, and they charged my account for the item. However, I never received the item. No concern from management, I waited 2 weeks for someone to follow up with me. I had to pay 3X the amount to buy the product locally. "

MISLABELED PRODUCTS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YUP! THEY DON'T FIX MISTAKES!

"I don't think this company cares about their products or even their customers. They mislabeled products again! Labels says Sweet Basil the oil inside is Eucalyptus. Where is Quality Control here? You call the company and untrained customer service will pick up the phone (THEY REALLY DON'T CARE). They don't seem to be trained well to handle customers complain and yet they get paid because of consumers. I can't agree more with the people being frustrated with this company.

Customer service told me to overnight the wrong oil they sent me and then they will fix the problem! ARE YOU SERIOUS?

"This is the worst business I have ever seen. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I ordered some bottles from them w/ lids. They helped me pick out what I needed and they placed the order for me. When the order arrived, the lids they sent, didn't fit the bottles they sent me. Now they say they I can't return the lids or the bottles. This is ridiculous! This joint needs to be shut down. I am really **** about this place. Like I said, Don't shop here, you will be sorry. I just wasted $55.00 to these losers."

They don't care

"DON'T ORDER FROM THEM
They have very bad customer service and procedures, they shipped wrong bottles, now they don't want to fix mistake, they want to get bottles back, then they are going to send right ones, so it's going to take another week or so until I received the right size bottles, meanwhile I have to seat with unfilled orders. I'm extremely upset. Also, the item they shipped is 3 times cheaper from what I ordered.
