In general the service I received was ok as the company offers very good value products. I received the product in working order and all was well. The product was described very well and my different requirements were also fulfilled.
The only criticism I would have is that I had to chase the order when nothing appeared to be advancing and they replied with quite a blunt/rude email: -

I did not find this email very helpful. Firstly they should have informed me of this rather than I chase them and perhaps they could have written a more informative email. There was actually a problem with my email interfacing with theirs. They were receiving error messages when emailing me but I was getting the emails but delayed. Once we had gathered this then all was okay.

"Ordered a Asus G73JW just towards the end of last year and the service was excellent!
Decided on one modification - upgrading the 1st Hd for a 128GB Crucial SSD. I've not done a proper clearing of the system but out of the box this thing starts really fast (maybe 15secs from cold). For my uses the 2nd 500GB drive gives more than enough storage.
Only delays were caused by me (messing up the wire details...) and then finally by UPS - snow and a failed delivery. Progress on the otherside however was super efficent - I think it spent more time here in the UK lying around than it did in the US!
0 Complaints about the laptop - massive upgrade for me, a few niggles but they are documented and will no doubt be fixed sooner or later.
I have had no need to contact BTO for any problems but when ordering any emails sent about payments or order progress were swiftly answered.
1st time buyer from BTO and first time for anything this size from the US, not planning on replacing this one soon but will look back to BTO first when I do!

"After searching high and low for a good place to get my new laptop from I stumbled across BTO-Tech.
I was a bit worried to begin with about how trustworthy this small outfit would be, but after reading great reviews here and seeing how actively they respond to questions and concerns on their own forum, I gave it a try.
My own questions were answered quickly, sometimes within minutes, and I was very glad to see that not only did they offer the product I wanted a good price but also allowed me to customize it to my liking.
Even sending my new laptop to China (and through the notorious China customs apparatus) went without a hitch.
The only SLIGHT negative point was that my initial assembly was slower than promised, but they upgraded the shipping option without throwing a fit to make it up.

"Very well. Took about 3 days from USA to the UK from the dispatch date, and the tax was judged fair as well. I installed and started playing Final Fantasy XIV right after it arrives, fps varies from 20 to 60. Remember to set the physX processor to CPU only when you play this game, GTX460M isn't strong enough but u can get more in game fps out of this laptop by letting the i7 CPU do all the physics.(For G73JW users only)"
