"I ordered 2 rose of sharon trees and they were planted in early December in San Jose California (zone 9) so no freezes or bad weather. We can grow annuals year round! These plants never came out of dormancy like my other ones do in April. So in June I requested replacements and they no longer carried these trees (which is wierd). So I requested my money back but they gave me a store credit. So I ordered a limelight hydrangea tree and a regular hydrangea shrub. They shipped them in the same box and the shipper did not handle the box as instructed so when the plants arrived, they were completely crushed and the tree was dead. I took a photo within minutes of its arrival to show how they arrived. I received email they are shipping new tree but nothing was said about the shrub. I emailed back and asked when that was coming and that hopefully they would ship separately so they same thing does not happen. I was told the tree was dormant and would come back and they were shipping the shrub. That is not the case. They sent me notice they shipped a new tree (was dead on arrival) and that the shrub is in shock and I should wait for it to come back! How stupid. The shrub had every branch except two broken off the plant when it arrived. It was not in shock. The pretty pink blooms were still attached to the broken branches! This was very clear in the photos I sent. I have been ordering plants by mail for several years and this was the worst condition so far. Granted the shippers did the damage and never read the directions on the box but, I did pay exorbitant shipping fees. I have asked for my money back if they are not going to replace the plant and they need to use a different shipper who actually is responsible for the way they handle plants. The boxes are clearly marked that they have live plants. But there are other growers who know how to pack plants better! (Proven Winners and Annie's Annuals are exceptional and so is Little Prince). Needless to say, I will never order plants from this grower again. G. Lamb"

"Absolutely lovely tree, but I had ordered a bottle of Neem Oil at the same time, which was packed with the tree. By the time the tree arrived, the smaller box with the Neem Oil had slid around and broken some branches off. Disappointed in the packing, but still a great specimen that will heal in time."

"I ordered my plants not July 6, and still have not received them. I was never given any updates as to the status of my order —and if I did get information it was because I made the call. I was told (after my latest call) that I would be receiving my plants on the 30th—they have not arrived , and frankly I am not holding my breath.
This was a disappointing And frustrating experience from the Beginning

"I received my pomegranate tree about a week ago. It was packed very securely in an appropriate box. The soil was moist and the tree did not appear to be in distress. Some leaves had fallen in transport, but the tree is doing well so far. I am happy with the transaction and would buy another tree from them again. "
