"The Laser Gudided Parking System I received from
Brands On Sale did not work. I attempted to
contact the store for help or an RMA within the
first week, but received no reply. Repeated
attempts to contact the store was unsuccessful.
No one replies to the email and I've been left
on hold by their telephone for hours. After 12
weeks, I was able to speak with a representative
on the phone, "Timothy". He informed me that he
could not do anything for me because it has been
too long since I ordered and refused let me
speak to a supervisor.

After this has happened, my research on
Amazon.com, resellerratings.com, complaints.com
reveal that bad customer service is the norm for
BrandsOnSale.com. This comapany should not be
represented by Yahoo and I will think twice
before ordering from Yahoo next time.

"I called on 8/21/06 and ordered a family size blow up pool. We needed the pool by the next week and were hoping to get in by Wednesday since the website said in stock and will ship that day (it actually said estimated on Tuesday but I gave them an extra day). I called up and ordered and made sure we would have it in time. No problem I was told. Never heard from them. Called on 8/23/06 to inquire and was told it was back ordered, but then she looked again and said, no it was but it's in stock now and is in the q to be shipped today. Still didn't hear from them with a tracking number. Called 8/24/06 and was told it was on backorder so I cancelled the shipment. I was able to get through to a customer sercice rep every time but their website and in stock, delivery and processing times are NOT correct!! BEWARE!!!!!"

"I ordered three light bulbs on Wednesday, 10/19 and e:mailed them to cancel within 24 hours. UPS tracking stated it shipped on 10/24 and the packing slip showed it was packed on 10/21. I sent a second e:mail stating I was displeased that nobody returned my message on order status and then Enrique Guerrero of customer service sends a note back how can't cancel the order after it leaves the shipping department. Heck, I canceled it FOUR DAYS before it left the shipping area! I got stuck paying $16 for three light bulbs I didn't need (mainly due to high shipping costs). NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE!!!!!"

"I was very unimpressed with the abysmal customer service. The search and shopping experience on the site seemed reasonable. The website indicated that the item was in stock and would ship immediately; the estimated shipping time by zone was 3 days. The price was a bit higher than identical items elsewhere, but I was willing to pay in order to be assured arrival of my items before Halloween activities. I recieved one automated confirmation e-mail receipt, immediately after order placement. Over a week later, after querying by e-mail and voicemail (it is apparently not possible to speak with anyone directly), I finally learned that my order was processed 8 business days after I placed it. I sent multiple e-mails asking for explanation and estimated arrival and never got a response. They were unreachable except by message, and yet I never received a return phone call. Eventually, 3 weeks after the order was placed, I received a succinct e-mail stating that my order was "on hold," once again without any explanation. Throughout this period, the website still indicated that the item I had ordered was in stock and would ship within 24 hrs of order placement!! I never received my items nor any indication that they valued my business. I do not reccomend engaging in any transactions with this unreliable and uncommunicative merchant. Upon researching "brandsonsale.com" further, I have yet to see a positive review among the few comments that are available on the web."

"On 8/3/05, I ordered a solar car fan (order #71428A) from brandsonsale.com. I received it on 8/11. It was defective. I emailed ****@**** asking how to return it. I received a reply from Robbin Bach on 8/16 with a phone number to call saying returns must be handled over the phone. I called on 8/22 and spoke with Mary who gave me an RMA number and said I should ship it back and would be refunded the cost of the shipping plus what I paid for the product. I shipped it the same day. I called on 8/31 to confirm they had received the return. They had not processed it yet so I was asked to call back in 5 days. I called again on 9/7. I was told that it had been received and processed. I was asked what my shipping cost was and was told that I would be getting a credit on my credit card of the cost of the product plus the cost of shipping. On 10/13, I sent an email to ****@**** asking about my refund as my credit card had not yet been credited. I received an unsigned reply on 10/20 asking me to call their customer service department. It included a phone number and extension (x111). I called on 10/20 and left a message at that extension. On 10/21 I hadn’t gotten a reply so I called and spoke with an operator who said the correct extension is x107 for returns and he transferred me. I got the mailbox of Rodney Jerusalem, but there was “no room in the mailbox” to leave a message. I sent an email again and got no response. On 10/27 I called extension 107 again and again there was no room to leave a message. I called the main number but was unable to speak with an operator due to “the busy holiday season.” I left a message. I emailed again with a threat to lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if my issue was not resolved by 11/3. On 11/4, my credit card was still not credited and I have not heard from the company. I called one more time and again there was no room to leave a message. I filed a complaint with the BBB."

"Ordered something that was "in stock". Didn't receive tracking number, can't get through to a sales rep via phone, no response from them via e-mail after days of e-mailing them repeatedly.

I have no idea if the order shipped or not.. what a pain. ((updated.. the item did finally show up, but NEVER heard back from the company to acknowledge that I had sent e-mails asking for a tracking number. ))
