If I can give 0 stars I would

"Bought a pair of glasses and gave my prescription and everything. Waited about 10 days to pick up my glasses to find out that they made them so they are reading glasses only. The lady at the store was blaming me saying I should’ve mentioned that they are for everyday wear. I said I didn’t know i was supposed to and I wasn’t even asked the question otherwise i would’ve made it clear that this is for everyday wear. She kept defending the associate but the associate did not ask me when i first came to order my glasses. Been wearing glasses since I was a kid and no glasses store has ever assumed they’re just for reading. I’ve never had such in issue ever! Very unprofessional and they really don’t care about customers.. I wasn’t even told sorry....So save the headache and go somewhere else. "

Disaster

"On December 27th I thought I bought a pair of glasses. I spent two hours at the store. They took a copy of the prescription. Then I saw the optometrist who looked at my prescription. No one ever mentioned that there might be a problem filling my prescription. I paid and I was on my way. I expected to get my new glasses a week to ten days later. Well that did not happen. A week later I received an email saying they did not have my prescription. After a few back and forth emails they said they found the prescription. A few days after that they sent me an email and said that my glasses would cost $400.00 instead of $200.00. I wrote back and said that this was unacceptable. It gets better a few days after that I get a voice mail saying that they could not fill the prescription. What kind of clown act is this. I have no glasses, I am frustrated and I am short $200.00. Where in Gods name is their customer service. Spend more and save yourself undue stress. If they had their act together they could make it work. It’s not going to happen in the forseable future."

Horrible service

"Horrible service in square one location the girls don't know what they are doing.
I order my son glasses before x-mas they told me to bring the prescription and I did, I had to wait for the optitrician to came back to the store she did came back in10 minutes she charge me and place order, they were calling me to came in to the store and get my $95 they over charge me and once I got to squareone they told me a total different history that I have to pay $200 more because the system was not able to read the prescription properly the girl who was taking care of me call the optitrician because she was not in the store again she try to explain and I decide to cancel my order and to get my money back she said they were not able to refund me the money they will mail me a cheque and I call customer service and they were not able to do anything so I waited a week to get my money back and my son was not able to get his glasses before x-mas they were confuse between customer service and the people of the store.
Horrible service at the end they said they were not able to do the glases because the prescription.
Don't used this company for glases.

Disaster!!!!! Dishonest! Don’t let yourself be fooled!!

"This company will lie about how long it takes for you to get their product. Then they will change your order without your consent, when you call them to fix it they will change something else. You pay more for lenses and they won’t actually make your glasses with the special lense. Then they will say the order was incorrect because they didn’t read the prescription properly and have to start again. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Looks and BonLook are untrustworthy. If you want to throw away money then sure this is the company to go with. The hip styles of their glasses are useless when you never actually get them or they break within 10 days like other customers have said. STAY AWAY!"

Worst Experience Ever

"I will never order from this company again. The process took so long that I ended up refunding my order and going somewhere else. I ordered my glasses October 16th and I STILL don’t have my glasses that is why I decided to get a refund. The first time my glasses were processed they had the wrong perscription written down. Then my glasses failed quality control TWICE. I don’t understand how this is a glasses company if they can’t even make lenses properly. Customer service was horrible wouldn’t hear back from a supervisor for days. The stores don’t have their own phone which is extremely frustrating as it’s almost impossible to get ahold of someone. Don’t waste your time ordering from this company. The price isn’t worth it as the quality of the frames look cheap."

Horrible service

"I ordered 2 pairs of glasses with them mote then 2 weeks ago and when they were in transit got an email saying that they didnt pass quality test and that they had to redo my order. Now I have to wait another 1 week mininum to get them and the only thing they could do was giving me 20$ back for waiting so long. Im not even talking about the customer service in store, just horrible and how many time I had to go in store to get what i wanted. I would not recommend anybody to do business with them."

Worst company out there!

"I went to get glasses because the store had a nice appeal and it’s cheap. But when they got in they had the wrong lens and the lady who works at the Maple View store in Burlington is the worst business woman on the planet. She insisted they were the right lenses even though I couldn’t see my feet. Biggest wast of money save ur time and money and never go to bonlook."

Impossible de faire changer les verres chez bon look!! Pas très éco responsable!!!

"J’ai achetté une paire de lunettes chez bon look, jai grafigné un de mes verres par accident quelques jours après, j’ai voulu changer un de mes verres... impossible il ne vende que des montures avec verres!! Je peux compremdre qu’ils ne desirent pas changer les verres de monture ne provenant pas de chez eux mais ils pourraient offrir le service face a leurs montures. Cela me force à aller dans un autre optométrice, et je compte bien retourner chez mon ancien optometrice et achetter mes montures chez eux ils sont capable de m’offrir un service après vente lorque j’ai un soucis avec mes lunettes! "

Pleasantly surprised

"After reading these reviews, I was VERY skeptical to order. I did everything online and received my glasses within 2 weeks (would have been faster if it weren’t for the Canada Post Labour delays).

My glasses look amazing and fit beautifully. Will definitely be buying again.

If anyone is feeling skeptical like I was, take the plunge! If you’re nervous about online ordering, my friend ordered hers in store and also had a great experience!

Just don’t even bother

"I ordered glasses from bonlook thinking it would be nice tot ty something new. They told me the lenses were top quality blah blah blah. I got my glasses and couldn’t wear them for longer than a half an hour before they made me feel extemely ill. I’ve worn glasses for 20+ years and never have had a problem adjusting to new ones as I get a new pair every year and often with a new prescription. When I took them back, they remade them. When they still weren’t right I went back again and they wouldn’t do anything for me and the “optician” was extremely arrogant and rude. He wouldn’t do anything for me and basically said it’s normal for me to feel this way. I then took my BonLook glasses to my optometrist who told me that they were poor quality lenses and that is the reason i was having troubles. So I paid more to have my lenses replaced by my optometrist and now I have no problem whatsoever. BonLook tells their employees and tells their customers that the lenses are the top quality that optometrists use but that’s not true. There’s no way of telling. The optician in BonLook told me there is no stamping to prove anything. You get what you pay for and never will I recommend Bonlook to anyone."

You get what you pay for

"Ordered on Sept. 11th & still waiting. I had to return to the store the next day as the Optometrist is only in once a week & you have to this person by appt. (BTW my glasses are already paid for - so no problem taking your money) There is no phone number for the store - it's a call center. Today I was told my glasses had arrived at the store & to go & pick them up. When I arrived I was advised I needed to book an appt. with optometrist to release my glasses. I tore a strip off the sales rep (Sorry) as this practice is ridiculous. I have insurance, but the clerk did not fax my completed order form, thus I had to go to UPS to send it myself - cost $5.00! and I have not been reimbursed meanwhile they have my money & I am paying interest on my credit card. I am concerned because I read some reviews from people who did not feel that their lenses were prepared properly. You only have one set of eyes & I have high expectations from providers of prescription eyeglasses. Not happy with the delays & will update following pick up of the product. So far not feeling optimistic. "

Waited A Month and a Half for Glasses

"I'll never be using Bonlook again. I had ordered a pair of glasses on June 9th 2018 in-store. After the two weeks that they're supposed to take, the glasses were still "in processing at the lab" on the website tracking.

I called customer support and they had no idea where my glasses were, and told me their supervisor would call me back by the end of the day.

Two days later, after hearing nothing, I call back, and the representative says they can't find my account on their database.

A few days later, I call again and ask to a supervisor, who tells me that they've lost my order and will have to build a new pair of glasses.

A month and a half after paying for my glasses in-store, I receive a call to come pick them up. Be warned!

Inaccurate Information, Damaged Frames, Accusatory Service

"I did not have a good experience with Bon Look. I had to contact customer service several times before and after receiving my glasses and each interaction left me skeptical and their responses weren't really satisfactory. The confrimation I recevied after ordering had the wrong frame color. They assured me it was actually correct. I couldn't get the online to to measure pupillary distance to work, so I emailed it to them and when I checked the status later the number was incorrect. Again they assured me everything was actually correct, (despite the screenshots I sent, showing them their incorrect number and my original email with the correct one). They didn't explain in either instance what had happened and expected me to just trust their answers, which worried me even further. When my glasses arrived, there was a big chunk missing in the frame- inside, above where the leanse was fitted. The flaw was clearly visible when I tried them on for the first time, so I reached out to customer service yet again. They issued me a return label and stated that because my frames had been on sale when i purchased them if I wanted to re-order I would have to pay the current full price. Understandly, I balked, pointed out that quality control should have noticed they were broken before sending them to me and advised their proposal was unacceptable due to their error. In their reply, in not so many words, they accused me of doing the damage myself and demanded I tell them how it happened. I sent them photos showing the damage and explained how it would have had to have happened in-house and that it was not possible I could have done something to cause it. In the end, they grudgingly agreed to re-make them and not charge anything additional. The glasses are just ok- the perpheral vision is blurry and that's not an issue with my eyes- my old pair has the same prescription and doesn't have this issue. I guess I'll keep them though, since the order turned into such an ordeal. Unless you are absolutely in love with a particular Bon Look frame, I'd suggest shopping elsewhere. Bon Look is not worth the aggravation."
