"This company kept giving my mother very poor “service”. She had ordered 4 identical items and received 3. Written on the boxes: 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3. They kept questioning her. My mother had all the information required, yet it was still being disputed. I called and described this, wanting to know why my mother was being treated so poorly. And then I was able to finally ensure the delivery of the 4th item. Far too much attempt at denial. I directly asked if the elderly are routinely treated poorly. I will pursue this company’s pattern of business practices."

"I placed an order for several hundred dollars worth of merchandise. Most of it was defective or not what I ordered. I sent it back. because they do not refund to original method of payment, I had to order other items that cost more than the refund. I gave my info as to how to bill me. It was mailed in the original box with the defective, poorly made merchandise. Now I have received an e-mail from them stating that I OWE them for the overage of the return vs new order. I guess they are to stupid to read the info I provided. I'll have to check with my card company to see if they took my money and ran.
I called customer service...what a joke. I was told they never received the return merchandise. I told the idiot that it makes no sense that they know what my new order is, because the new order was in the box with the returned merchandise. I am so disgusted with mail order right now I could scream.
I guess I'll have to drive to their home office in Ohio to get satisfaction, and to return the puzzles I ordered, since I read reviews about their lousy puzzles. There goes my day off during the week next week. I live only a few hours from their home office, but I hate to give up the time with holiday stuff next week.
Take my advice...stay as far away from this company as possible. They sure do want our money, but don't want to give us quality in any form."

"I love jigsaw puzzles and was looking around wanting to order some that were reasonably priced. I found Bits and Pieces and ordered 4 puzzles with a special shipping code of $5, and got one puzzle free with my order. It took a long time for the puzzles to arrive even though my credit card was charged immediately. When I opened the first puzzle, I found that the straight edge pieces do not lock together. It is VERY difficult to work on a puzzle when the outside edges keep sliding around. I contacted customer service wanting to return the 3 puzzles I paid for that were unopened, and was told they do not pay for return shipping. I do not call that 100% satisfaction! I made sure all my friends who do puzzles know not to order from them."

"I ordered 3 different items from bit and pieces and their pictures are misleading.
The peeker elf shows that he’s on a rather large tree. He’s so small that I had to put him on a bird house post. Same with the elf climbing out of the tree.
Dumb enough to order something else! Two solar Japanese cranes; they gave the height and ,and I thought this would be great (not) I will admit that they are very pretty, however when night time comes it looks like two lighted footballs.

"Worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I have been a good customer buying several items from them over the last few years. For the first time ever I had to email them about a problem with a product. I emailed them a total of 4 times. The last 2, I got an automatic response from them saying they would be in touch "soon". I have not heard back from them at all, and we are now going on months. So disappointed in this company."

"I've ordered things now and again from Bits and Pieces, but generally their stuff is overpriced. Many items listed in their catalogue I could get at the dollar store, but they are charging $10+ for the exact same item. The worst, as many have stated, is their shipping. They charge ridiculously high shipping fees, promptly take your money, then take their sweet time delivering. They advertised Mother's Day specials for free shipping. I ordered 4 items April 27th and, by May 9th (the Thursday before Mother's Day), it hadn't even shipped yet, forcing me to go find something else for my hard-to-buy-for mother. Go somewhere else where shipping fees are more reasonable (or even free) and they, y'know, SHIP things."

"Called their customer service when I noticed my shipping date on my order kept getting changed to a further out date. They gave some flimsy excuse that my order was bagged and ready to go so I could not cancel it and assured me it would me shipped the next day and that they ship thousands of orders every day so it takes days for orders to get sent to Fedx. They update not have cared less when and if I got my order. Avoid this company. The sales are not worth it! They are definitely not Amazon! Still waiting for my order to ship."

"I ordered 5 puzzles from Bits and Pieces and was very dissatisfied with the quality of the first puzzle I attempted to assemble. The pieces did not fit together properly and the frame of the puzzle contained many flat side ends. I have been a puzzler for decades and have never seen such poor quality. I spoke to customer service to inquire as to the return policy and was told that I had to pay the shipping back to Bits and Pieces. The cost of shipping was over $16!!! Shame on them for not providing a returns label especially since they receive a large shipping discount from both UPS and the USPS. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE FOLKS!"

"i ordered for Christmas with plenty of time for my nephew, 8 yrs old. your comapny did not enter my creditcard info correctly and therefore my order was never sent out. nor was I notified about the non shipment of my Christmas presents i ordered. your company said card was not good yet the card was good and continues to be good, so that means your employee entered number wrong, thanks a lot for screwing my nephews christmas. "Okay, one star. They did eventually ship the product, and it looked like what I ordered. I suppose they get one star for that.

However, it took almost two months to receive my order even though I was told repeatedly "one more week".

Then, the 200-dollar item that I purchased does not at all do what the video and description imply. This puzzle table doesn't store your puzzle intact as they say it does, it collapses it completely and you have to rebuild it.

I wasted my money. I could have bought a 20$ artist easel and had the same result.

But here's the kicker. I submitted a review on their website, and they have not posted it (no shock there). And I emailed customer service and my email was returned undelivered.

Terrible customer service, and mediocre quality. Never again.

"Ordered a kaleidoscope that did not turn so you could see the different designs, Robot that shot out discs, after ONE use, NEVER worked again. Night gogggles, what a joke, can hardly see thru the eye lenses lastly ordered a 2 gun game that shoots discs, only ONE gun worked. Bought this so Great Grandpa could play games with his great grandson. ALL items were no better that Dollar Store items, TERRIBLE quality. Wish I would have read reviews before making order, I have learned my lesson. NEVER ORDER from this place, it is a disgrace, they should NOT be allowed to do business!!!"

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered 2 mind teasers on 12/2/18 with a ship date of 12/7/18. Called customer service on 12/13/18 to notify them that the product didn't ship and that I never received a confirmation e-mail but have been receiving all the junk e-mail. They apologized and said they noted on my order of the delay and that it would ship. No products. Called again on 12/20/18 and basically received the same excuse. This time they stated that they called the warehouse regarding the delay and that the product would ship immediately. No present for Christmas! Called on 12/27/18 and the items still have not shipped. Cancelled the order!! Then the rep has the nerve to offer me a 5$ credit on my next purchase. I politely told him that I would never order from them and would be writing a negative review so that other families do no go down this same path. "
