"I have not yet recieved my order from this retailer. They have sent me two seperate tracking numbers both of which have not shown any progress over the last week. My hopes were greater than my expectations, and after reading the reviews I realized that only %50 of customers recieved good service from this reseller. I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones who did not get a good and/or prompt service. We'll see if/when the shipment comes how the items' conditions' are.

Recieved my order on the 9th of March. 2.5 weeks seems like a long time to process an order, but I'm not dissapointed with the prodect. Everything I ordered was included and in good condition, they even threw in an extra neon case light. I'm satisfied with the results of the purchase, but will not buy from them again because of their declining ratings, reviews, service, and order processing speed.

"Placed order for a Logitech MX700 mouse on Feb 21, received a tracking number on Feb 25. Feb 26 my order status page, still lists tracking number, and says "This order has been cancelled."
Feb 28 I call them to verify the status and yes it is out of stock. They say it will take 3-5 days to issue a refund because they have a lot of other refunds to issue before getting to mine.

"Placed order on February 15th. After they sent the initial confirmation, there was no further communication. After two days, I called to check the status and make sure the HDD was in stock. Called multiple times throughout the day and never got anybody in customer service on the phone. Left two messages and sent one email. I never got any response.

On February 18th I called back through the sales line to try to get somebody on the phone. They checked the status of the order and said that my billing address didn't match my shipping address. This was true. They gave me the option to have it shipped to a seperate address, so I figured this was OK. They said that somebody should have called me to straighten this out. Well, nobody ever did.

I had them ship it to my billing address instead. That night I got a shipping confirmation email and a tracking number. They also charged my account for the purchase.

On February 23rd, the FedEx tracking number still showed an order to pick up the package and nothing further. I called BestBargainPC several times and got voicemail. Called through the sales line again. I got somebody on the phone who abruptly cut me off in mid-sentence and transferred me to somebody else. His name was Michael. Michael told me that the item was on backorder and wanted to try to upgrade me to a different drive.

I didn't want a different drive. I asked why they wouldn't have mentioned that when I talked to them the previous week and why they would charge my account for an item they didn't even have in stock. He had no intelligent answer. I had him cancel my order, and he assured me that my account would be credited in two days. He didn't have any kind of confirmation number for the credit. This was February 23rd.

By February 25th I hadn't been credited so I decided to call and follow up. I got voicemail 5 times again. Then I called through their government sales line. This is the only way I have been able to get somebody on the phone. He transferred me to a customer service representative. She told me that the credit had not been done and assured me that she would do it. She said I would see the credit in two business days. I told her that I had already been told that previously and asked if she could give me a confirmation number. She said she didn't have one. I asked how I could be sure that she was going to credit my account since I had already been told that and it never happened.

This company is a fraud. They will charge you for items they never had in stock, give you a fake shipping number and never ship you anything, never contact you to let you know the item doesn't exist, and worst of all, they won't give you your money back.

"I ordered a HD from them on the 14, its now the 22 and it has not even been shipped yet. ALL the other parts I ordered via pricewatch have arrived and now im dead in the water. Its companies like this that make newegg the role model for Internet sales.
Buy from another company, its worth the extra $1-2 to get your item in less that 2-3 weeks.
I sent email and got a rude response, and they lied to me over the phone about shipping it already.

"Another great experience with BestbargainPC. My PS failed and so I purchased this new power supply based on specs and a few good web reviews. However, it did not work to my expectation (low voltages on 3 rails - within spec but lower than I wanted). I ordered a new/different PS today. I requested an RMA which was immediately approved but was subject to a restocking fee (which I was fully aware of). I called in to customer service and a Michael took my call. I ask him if the comments section would be looked at in the RMA request. He then asked me for the RMA and waived the restock fees!! This is why I've been doing business with BestbargainPC now for a number of years. Highly recommended."

"horible experince from this vendor, i order from these pepole twice in the past and both transactions went very smoothly, the third transaction i ordered they told ME that MY adress was incorect, i mean come one! i ordered from you 2 times in the past, and i explaned that to them and they wrote back to me a 2nd time stating that my adress was incorect. then after about 20 nasty emails to them, they shiped it out and didnt answer any of my emails, i had to call them to find out what was going on"

"I placed an order for a Pioneer DVR-108 on Jan 18th. Their web site gave no indication that it was out of stock. On the 19th I sent an email asking for a tracking number. On the 20th I received an email with a FedEx tracking number. The FedEx site said "Package information transmitted to FedEx". Gee, I would have thought that meant that they already had it packaged and ready to ship. It had an estimated delivery date of Jan 26th.

The interesting thing was, on about either the 20th or the 21st(can't remember the exact date), I went back to their site and saw that the item's price had gone up by like $1.93, and it was now listed a s "out-of-stock". 4 to 5 days later (on the 25th), I get a call from them saying that the drive is no longer available, that it's been "discontinued", and they try to get me to buy a different brand. No. I placed an order for a specific drive, they showed it as being in stock, and acted like they even had it ready to ship. Not only that, but they waited until a week after I ordered it to call me and say they don't have it in stock!

Hint for the seller--don't transmit package information to FedEx until you have actually packaged an item, and don't give out tracking numbers to customers when you don't have an item in stock. All you are going to do is motivate people to buy somewhere else. Which is exactly what I did. I should have bought from newegg.com in the first place (when I placed this order newegg was out of stock of the item, but gee, they showed that right on their web site *before* I placed the order). Fortunately for me newegg has the item in stock again.

This seller is going on my blacklist now, for what I consider fraudulent practices. I buy a lot of computer equipment online, and there are a fair number of sellers who pull stuff like this. My advise to everyone is to read the reviews, and buy from a reputable seller like newgg.com (there are others who deal fairly also). Read the reviews on resellerratings.com, pricegrabber.com, and other sites. Do a google search on the seller's domain name. If the seller doesn't have at least a 90% satisfied rating, I'd recommend buying elsewhere. If I had dug past the first 10 or so reviews of this seller, I would have seen that they've pulled this kind of stunt before, and I wouldn't have ordered from them.

Bottom line is, if the price is very good, and the seller has a bad rep, you will probably get the short end of the stick (like I did this time).

Oh, by the way, the FedEx tracking site *still* shows this item as "Package information transmitted to FedEx", and an estimated delivery date of today. About the only thing the seller did right is that they now show my order as cancelled -- gee, how nice of them.

UPDATE: I just checked with my credit card company, and this company had the nerve to charge my credit card for an item they didn't have in stock when I ordered it! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
