Returns policy is nasty. Read the fine print

"A lot of "opened" items cannot be returned. How do you tell if a USB memory stick is the speed, quality claimed without trying it? Many more items also not returnable. I will be shopping elsewhere."

"Went in to get a gaming desktop. They didn't have what I wanted in stock so I had to order online. The employee actually ordered it for me in store. The only this is that I had to have it sent to my residence and not at the store for pickup. Besides that little inconvenience I was extremely happy with my experience."

Geek squad provides zero value; applies zero effort. Don't pay them.

"I dropped off my external hard drive, which had poor connectability and accessbility, because i dropped it a few times.

I purchased a new external hard drive with the intent of trasnferring all the data over. Because it has poor connectability, you have to drag the file folders over in small increments (i.e., 1-2 folders at a time; you can't move them all as it will time out). I didn't have the time to do this, so I used Geek Squad, which cost $100.

They didn't listen to me; they tried to move all the data at once, and said "your external drive is compromised; we could only get 9 MB of data. You can pay us another $500, and we'll have our specialist do this".

I took both devices hope, and am now in the process of moving 2 file folders over at a time. It's working - but a huge waste of my time, and I'm also out the $100.

They don't provide any thought, creativity, patience or ingenuity. It's a "nope, we can't do it" attitude. I'm never going there again.

"This best buy is simply awful, they have no contractual spirit at all. I booked an order to have my car recorder installed at 11AM today, and since this bestbuy was the closest, I made an appointment at this store even though it was far away from me, but at 10:40AM a male staff called me. Told me they couldn't complete my order, I had been driving on the highway for a long time and he said the system didn't know the length of time the Audi needed to be installed so he couldn't do anything about it, at my appointment yesterday I also chose the model of my car and also saw that there was a lot of availability today but he just told me there was no time. He sounded like he was taking this for granted, he sounded like he was saying it was all my fault. He didn't feel sorry at all. He didn't even say "Sorry" to me, like we customers owed him. He hung up on me after telling me that he couldn't finish my order today, he didn't think it was the BEST BUY's problem at all, and I was disappointed by his bad and indifferent attitude. I would rather go to another BestBuy than this one again, and in the end he didn't cancel my order, even if I had to call and cancel it myself (but this time the female operator was very nice, she was very nice and helpful).
I don't know why this BestBuy is so unprofessional to cancel an order before the appointment and not feel sorry at all. Made me waste my morning and drive 2 hours for nothing!

Unable to switch received broken mouse on desktop pc set

"no service from merbleu location employee. could not exchange a broken mouse that we just bought. no temporary service or exchange service.

Called best buy. About a brand new gaming mouse bought online included in a desktop set. They said that they could not do anything. to go to the nearest best buy from our home. which was an hour drive. Got there. Got told that there was nothing that they could do to replace the mouse. But they could return the whole console and box and buy another desktop. 5 minutes and an hour drive for nothing. We didnt have the console with us and we would not want to return it because we have finished all its setup... We don't want to start all over again and use up all our internet again to set it up.
