"My 1year old car battery would hold a charge so I took it to the store where I bought it to get it replaced under warranty. I was told I had to leave it for a series of tests to determine if it was to be covered under warranty. I left the battery for 24 hours. No one called me like they had promised so I stopped by the store. I was told they needed it longer to complete the testing. It's ridiculous to think it takes 2 days to replace a car battery. Other retailers do it promptly in my experience. The store manager became angry that I called customer service & could no longer help me unless I wanted to leave the battery again & make a 3rd trip to the store. Needless to say I will never buy another battery from this company. Poor customer service!!!!"
"Purchased a top of the line $289.99 battery, after 5 months battery died. Took battery back, employees had a "don't care attitude" took battery to try to charge. Called next day, I was told, they had to try to charge it for 48 hours and that stupid employees put it on the wrong charger over night. And since the battery died it wasn't covered under warranty, WHAT? So I pick up my high dollar battery to turn in a Advanced Auto, so I won't have to pay the $15 core charge. So after 5 months on a "5 year" battery I got $15 back, awful! Don't even think about buying anything from these Guys - RUN don't walk out of there stores. And I purchased 4 batteries from these crooks in the past 18 months - NEVER AGAIN."
"They said it was my fault it went below 10 volts and would not honor warranty. What a scam ,never have I had any problems with any other battery at other stores. Took it back and broke seal of the battery to check cells and filled up and now battery charges. This is a sealed battery ,this should not be my responsibility it is a sealed battery and under warranty. Do not buy from them they do not honor their Warranty.Also their attitude stunk."
"Bought a Duracell battery for lawn mower. It tipped on side during transport and leaked acid in car, destroying car mat and battery. Winston Salem, NC store and customer service refused to replace battery saying it was my fault. They do not document this in their 6 month replacement guarantee or on the battery. They had never heard of Duracell's repair/replace policy if battery acid damages a device and seemed to think that saying the Duracell battery was not made by Duracell was relevant. My advice is to spend your money with companies that value their customers and your business .. not Batteries Plus."
"I took my iPhone to have the screen replaced and when I got it back it barely worked, phone would call on its own, text and scroll on it's own. I took it back for them to fix it again and it STILL didn't work. At this point I just wanted my money and cracked screen back, atleast when it was cracked it still worked. I called and talked to the manager and he was super rude and unhelpful. I then took my phone to apple juice and they tested it and told me they had messed up the inside when repairing my screen. Long story short I spent 200 dollars for my phone to not work at all. "

I order the buttery, paid for it and on my way to pick it up, someone called from store and said they do not have that battery and they are unable to order it from other store and they have to cancel the order. I ask if they are able to order it from order store and I pick up in 2- 3 days but they refuse.

"I bought a Duracell battery with life-time warranty for $40 (you can buy a comparable battery on the internet for $5) for my Samsung S4, i decided to return the battery after 7 days, but the clerk under manager Sean Flink at the MN Roseville store told me "your phone damaged the battery" but we will give you $20 (which will still leave them with 3 times the regular price of a comparable battery). I took the battery and my phone to CPR, a true cell phone repair place and the technicians, real technicians told me they have never heard of a phone ruining a battery, we charged the battery and it did charged just fine, even if the battery was dead, the battery was used as prescribed by the manufacturer and they should honor the life-time warranty. How can a clerk that has never open up the back of a phone in his life say that phones ruin batteries? They also advertise themselves as "cell phone repair locations" misleading so that they can sell you batteries at 5 times their reasonable price. The place is a racket. "

"My 2011 XC60 Volvo was having battery issues, so I purchased a Duracell battery with 36 month warranty on October 6th 2016. In March of 2017, the car was reporting Low Battery warnings, and wouldn't appear to hold a charge. Took it to the selling Batteries Plus dealer, and they used the automated test unit on the battery, and said "Battery is OK". That was 3/23 (yesterday), took the car to my Volvo dealer this morning, and they said, the Battery is toast and won't hold a charge. Cars Charging system is OK, and the standby current drain is within factory specs. So I'm purchasing a Volvo Battery for $200+. Essentially the 36 month warranty was toast for me.
Prior to visiting the dealer, I charged my car's battery to 100% with a newly purchased charger from Batteries Plus (Nice Charger). This morning, car would not start. Drove the car to the dealer to have it checked. And it would not start for the dealer either. Looks like the battery isn't holding a charge to me.
Otherwise, I would say the staff at my local Batteries Plus store is great."
"I went there for a replacement battery for my S6 phone. Clerk was very knowledgeable and said it would be on today's delivery later on. I picked up the battery the next day and had it installed. After install I had a minor issue with an LCD bleed. Took it back and clerk gave me a brand new LCD at no charge. Thanks. No complaints here. :-)"
"If I could give this store a 0 rating, I would. From the start, we got attitude from a lady we were nothing but nice to and patient with. She gave us attitude multiple times while she complained and sighed that my husbands crack phone was dead as we had new phones and that one had been sitting there. She let it charge for maybe 10 minutes and then told us his battery is shot. Hmm no I beg to differ. She tried selling us a new battery because she was too impatient to wait for his phone to charge. Needless to say, it took all of me not to take the phone and get service somewhere else. This store was in Pearl City, Hawaii. "
"Shattered my screen went to batteries plus to get the screen replaced took about 45 minutes ever since then my touch screen has barely worked. I have to restart it all the time & I just noticed MY SCREEN ISNT EVEN ATTACHED TO MY PHONE. IT KEEPS POPPING OUT!!!! Spent $110 for them to do a sh*tty job. Should've just gone to apple. "

"Rather than get into a long story, all the reviews seem to mirror my truly bad experience with this company. Bottom line is their warranty is useless and they will leave you stranded!
Whats worse is they blame everything on you and will tell you if you don't like it call corporate.
Something has changed because I have used Batteries Plus for years with great success but all changed!
Once I get my useless battery back from the test department where they say it's been repaired (?) and have a nice day........I'm done with this useless company!
By the way how do you repair a dead battery that wont hold a charge?"
