"BHM golf took my order and credit payment in Feb. 2008. I never received the merchandise. There was always an excuse about the supplier or the standard,we will mail it by Friday. Needless to say the push cart that I ordered was never sent Finally I contacted, The Better Business Bureau of Illinois (BHM never responded to the inquiry)and my credit card company to proceed to obtain a refund. It was beyond frustrating dealing with this company. "

"Well, all I know is, I ordered a set of Nickent ARC irons with stiff shafts, along with an ARC 56-degree wedge, from Brian, and they just got delivered -- in four days via UPS, with free shipping. Honestly, I received exactly what I ordered. I must acknowledge the myriad bad reviews about BMH Golf here, but I had no problems whatsoever, and got the best price on the ARCs in all the land. Plus, Brian gave me $10 off the 56-degree wedge. Caveat emptor is always good advice, but BMH Golf and Brian took care of me, for sure. Now if the snow will ever melt here in Maine, I'll actually get to use my new dolls in the spring. Golf on. . . ."

"The biggest bunch of knuckle heads on the planet! They're not only the most rude people I have ever dealt with but the most untrustworthy.

I ordered a golf bag online on 12/2/08. After waiting one week for shipment, I called; only to be told that it would be shipped that Friday. Another week went by..still no bag. Called again, another person w/o any home training answered and told me it was shipped that Friday (it had mysteriously been back ordered). Waited another week. Another person tried to "find" the order. I was told it had been shipped that day. I then was delivered a Tracking No. from UPS...w/ little info, plus it was being shipped to billing address - not the shipping address. I then tried for over a week (Christmas holidays) to track this Christmas gift. It was a NO-SHOW. Called on 1/6/09. Not only was this guy pathetic, he sent me an email telling me he had returned my money - but was for another person that he insisted was ME! Finally after much of flake talk, he found where the order had actually been canceled weeks earlier!!!!

In a time where not many people are eager to spend money, one would think a company that uses Ben Hogan as a moniker would be responsible & more eager to take my money!!

IN REFERENCE TO HIS REPLY BELOW. I HAD TO EVENTUALLY GET MY CREDIT CARD CO TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES IN ORDER TO GET MY REFUND. HE ALSO NOTES THAT I RECEIVED MY ORDER...TOTALLY NOT TRUE.

AND WHAT DO YOU THINK OF A BUSINESS THAT WOULD POST YOUR ORDER INFO!!??

THIS GUY NEEDS LOTS OF PRAYERS!

"This web site is a total rip off...DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people. To everyone that is having difficulty getting a refund...BE PERSISTENT!! Please contact the Villa Park Police Department to let them know the situation. They helped me get my refund. Brian will play games but don't let him. Keep after him!! It took me 1 1/2 months to get my refund! BUYER BEWARE!!

This is response to BHM's reply...My order was cancelled(by me) and never delivered(because I did not want the set)...so, I never received any merchandise from you(thankfully) and you finally refunded my credit card after a month and a half ordeal of unpleasant phone calls and email exchanges. You know that's the truth...Check with UPS, they will also tell you the truth...Mr. BHM, your delusions are amazing!

"Glad I found this website. An earlier posting turned me on to the Illinois DA's Office (http://www.ag.state.il.us/pressroom/2007_12/20071228b.html). This was the only way to get Brian's attention. Still owes me a partial reimbursement. Hopefully, when we all file a claim with the DA's office, we'll get paid when they shut him down. "

"I also wish that I had known more about this guy before odering from him as I have just been through a similar ordeal as many of those described.

I ordered a 15 piece top-flite set over the phone from this guy for $199. A few days later when I was checking my credit card statement on line I see he has charged me $339. I immediately called him to find out what had happened and he said he thought I wanted the 18 piece set at $339. He told me he would correct everything and refund the difference.

Several days went by and the $339 charge was still there so I emailed to find out what was going on. I got a very confusing email back saying the 18 piece set was shipped and I should get it in a few days. I called him and told him I didn't want the 18 piece set and he said "yeah I know, I ordered you the 15 piece set and you should get it in a few days". I asked him if he had processed the refund for the difference and he said yes.

A few more days passed and I get the 15 piece set by UPS, but he still hadn't refunded the difference for charging me for the 18 piece set so I called to find out why. He told me he had and that it takes a few days to post. In the mean time I happened to google this guy and found this site with all of the complaints, so I immediately called my credit card company and explained what had happened. They started the dispute process for the overcharge and I continued to wait.

I continued to call Brian and was told the same thing each time, that he processed it already and I should see it anytime. Then a few phone calls later he tries to tell me that he processed it for another guy with the same name in Canada and that it was his mistake and he would take care of it that day (he must think we are all idiots!).

So a few days later I see the refund for the difference and of course think that he has finally come through, so I call the dispute claims department of my credit card company to tell them I got the refund. They inform me that THEY processed it to my account because I had provided adequate evidence that I was overcharged and that they were now handling it with him.

Great! I thought, this is all done. Well 5 days later I get an angry phone call from Brian saying that the credit card company took all $339 and that I needed to pay him $199! I told him no, they had only given me the difference for being overcharged. He insisted that I was wrong and that I needed to pay him $199 or send the clubs back, or that he would have to sue me! Ha ha ha, what a joke this guy is!! He even asked me "do you want the cops to have to come and knock on your door?" What an idiot!! I told him to do whatever he thought he needed to do because as for me, I got the difference refunded back by my credit card company and he would have to deal with them.

Well, after hanging up with Brian I call the credit card company and tell them everything that has just happened. They actually laughed and said not to pay attention to this loser. But just for fun I asked them if they could conference call him so they can tell him that he is wrong. . . he practically cries on the phone with them and tells them they are ripping him off and hangs up!

I just can't believe this guy is still in business after all of these complaints and the Illinois attorney general suit as well.

" UNBELEIVEABLE! A BHM GOLF STORY WITH A HAPPY ENDING!

At the end of August I ordered a set of golf clubs from these folks after I googled the set and found that they were fifty dollars cheaper. Dick's wanted 299.00 and BHM listed them for 250.00. Of course when I saw this exorbinately lower price I lept without looking and ordered the clubs from BHM thru paypal. Brian at BHM quickly processed the paypal transaction and I received an email saying that I should allow 15 days for delivery. The fifteen days came and went and still no clubs, so I called BHM Golf and talk to the customer service rep. Becky who told me she would have to call the golf club manufacturer representative and would either call or email me later that day with the information. She neither called nor emailed and after two days I called back and asked about the status of my order. She said her computer system was down and that she would call me back in 45 minutes to let me know about the order. She never called or emailed, so later that day I called back to inquire. Becky informed me that a tracking number was sent to my e-mail. I checked my e-mail and no tracking number but when I checked it again two hours later the tracking number was there but when clicked upon the status was "no record". About a day or so later the ups tracking number she provided said that the package was in transit. A week later ( this is a month later now from the original order date) the tracking link showed and exception, which means problem, and that the package was in limbo in Pennsylvania some where. I called UPS and checked to see what the problem was. they told me that the address listed was my street address but that the city, state, and zip on the delivery was addresed to Pennsylvania. I gave them the correct address and then decided to google bHM Golf as all of this was sending up numerous red flags. My heart sank when I found the thousands of complaints lodged against Brian Meyer and BHM golf. I quickly called them and told both Becky and Brian that I would prosecute them for fraud and theft if I did not receive my clubs. I got a couple of emails and a call with no message left from Brian, but no confirmation on my order. I figured at this point that I was just another lolly in a long list of suckers who has been fleeced by this shister. I could not beleive my eyes when the UPS driver showed up at my house with a box of golf clubs! I gave the driver a short version of my order history and the reputation of BHM golf and asked him to witnes me opening the box in case I had to go to court and needed a witness. He agreeded and I opened the package half expecting a blowup doll or a bag of dog crap. I coudltn't beleive my eyes when I looked inside and found the clubs that I had ordered in brand new condition. I went to the driving range later that day to try them out and had no problems. I gave BHM a somewhat satified rating because I did receive the clubs in excelletn condition. There is no doubt in my mind however that if I did not contact ups directly myself and had instead kept dealing with BHM, that I would still be waiting. In conclusion I just want to warn everyone not to do business With BHM Golf.

"This guy is unbelievable! I ordered a Sun Mountain C130 bag. Immediately received notification it shipped. However, when it was received, it was an SCB, not a C-130. Called this guy and he tells me I can keep it, it is worth $40 more than the one I ordered (which on his own website is $10 less, so he must have thought I was an idiot!). I told him it was not the bag I wanted, so he said I needed to return the item and place a replacement order. So, now I've paid twice, and all I have received is three shipments of the original wrong bag he sent me.

When you call him, he is rude and pretentious. I've been trying to get my money back for weeks now to no avail. The credit card company is trying to recoup the payments, but what a poor business and even poorer excuse for a human being! Do yourself a favor, don't buy from BHM!

"I ordered a golf club from them and they said it would be delivered in 10-15 days. They charged my credit card without sending the product. It's now been over 45 days and I still haven't received the product. When I call them, they say it was "just shipped" and then it never shows up. Then they say the same thing when I call back a week letter.

UPDATE: After informing Brian Meyer that I was reporting him to the Illinois District Attorney's Office, he admitted that he never sent me the product and issued a full refund. I now consider the matter closed and will take my business elsewhere.

"This site is great. I only wish I would have seen it before I placed an order with BHM. I feel badly for those on this site who got burned, but at least I'm not alone. Some of the comments are downright hilarious. I especially like the suggestion that you order a bag of tees from this guys for like $10, get your friends together, call this guy on speaker phone, and listen to him go mental. I may get my order, after waiting much longer than he promised to ship item he sent me a tracking number. Not sure if its the actual tracking number for my order or just some random number he used to throw me off. Guess I'll find out soon enough. I'll give it a few days and if no delivery I'll try to cancel through my credit card. I called him at 7:00 p.m. PST and he didn't answer but called right back. He sounded paranoid. He wouldn't let me finish a sentence. Advised "its really late out here" (it would have been 9:00 p.m. CST, I suppose that's late if your 85 years old). Asked him for the tracking number and he said, "its your email address." I advised that doesn't sound right, and he said he'd send me an invoice containing the tracking number. I got the email but there was no invoice, I emailed him back advising the same and he sent another email this time only containing a tracking number. I put the tracking number into the UPS site and per UPS it was shipped 2 days ago. Again, probably a bogus tracking number. I read the report from the Illinois Attorney General about this guy. I'm a lawyer in Las Vegas, I can only hope the Illinois AG is more aggressive than the Nevada AG because in Nevada this guy would never face the music. Even if he's prosecuted in Illinois he'll likely never have to pay any restitution to the thousands of people he's likely screwed. Oh well, live and learn. In the future I will always, always, google search for site reviews before placing an order. "

"You can include me in the victim category of BMH golf. I ordered my clubs a month ago, He shipped me the wrong thing, and when I called him he response was "Dont' send them back, just keep them and we'll make a deal"? I said no, to which he said "Well, just sell them there local then" I returned them but it eventually became clear I'm not getting my money or clubs back.

I filed a complaint with the Illinois atty general office, to which BHM Golf responded with "He's got a full refund and is happy". Uh, not quite. I just filled out the dispute form with my CC company today.

Because he's a thief and a liar, I didn't stop there. I filled out a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center and asked the Attorney General office to be sure to add me to the list.

I'm also going to email his ISP (Whydevelop.com) and inform them of suit and all the forums and links out there about him. Maybe they care and maybe they don't but it won't hurt to inform them.

"I can't figure this place out - how do they stay in business? I order some hats they say are in stock and ready to ship, they charge my PayPal account. No hats. After they ignore numerous emails and phone calls, I file a complaint with PayPal and suddenly BHM tells me "He has spoken with me". When? Where? In Oz? In a dream? I still can't get my money released by PayPal because this guy won't do the paperwork (which might take 1 minute, tops). Very bad reseller..."

"I ordered some wedges from him thinking they were new. After they were sent to me he said they were used. I received them only because he had them in his shop.I ordered golf shoes that were not in his shop.(he told me they were and I would receive them in two days) They had to be"drop shipped"he said. Later after 1 month of phone calls about 15 calls total, whats funny is he picks up the phone every time and tells you what you want to hear and says he will do it by the end of the day. The shoes never came. I called him again and said just give me a refund, he said as usual "no problem". I then decided to pay him a visit in person. He was kind of surprised to see me but I told him in person to credit my charge .He then said "he did that morning". He was very passive but uncomfortable. I then saw a pair of golf shoes for less than what he owed me. I told him I was going to take them and as soon as the credit hit my bank I will come back and square with him.He said,"no problem" He still owed me about $50.00. The credit came the next day for $15 less than the amount I paid. Then the next day the credit disappeared. I called the bank and they said the merchant did not provide proper info for the refund and that the merchant pulled the refund back. WOW! I then paid him another visit.I am square with him now! I had my bank put a claim in and canceled the card. You will get absolutely no where with him on the phone. I paid him a visit and he still lied to my face at the same time he cooperates as he lies to your face.Strange man. I think he has a clinical problem. If anyone out there wants me to try to square them away with him, just send me an email ****@****. I might be able to help by paying him a visit for you. Just provide me with proof etc. It would be an honor to hold him accountable. "

"Consider me one of the lucky ones. I ordered a Sun Mountain cart on May 17th. On the web site it listed the shipping as drop ships from vendor in 3 to 5 days. When I printed out my receipt it listed the delivery as 7 to 10 days. The next day I got an email confirming my order and delivery was stated as 7 to 10 days plus 3 to 5 days shipping. I emailed customer service telling them that I was upset with the lead time being different from the original time posted on the web site.
Brian emailed me back in capital letters “ALL CARTS COME IN TO US.. THEN TO YOU.” With this I became a little concerned. I Goggled BHM Golf and luckily found this site. My first reaction was “I’m screwed”, but then I started to think, don’t wait, get on this right away. Rebecca had emailed me with estimated shipping and delivery dates so I decided to give them to the latest delivery date which was June 5th. I emailed Rebecca on June 1st and informed her that if I do not have a tracking number or the cart doesn’t ship by June 5th, then I want to cancel my order and get a full refund. I never got a reply.
On June 6th, I emailed Brian and informed him of my email to Rebecca and that I was asking for my refund, and that I expected it within 48 hours. Brian emailed me back and told me to call him that evening or the next day. Well, after reading about some of the rude conversations he has had with other people on this site, I wasn’t going to allow that. I emailed him back and told him that all of our correspondence would be done thru email where there would be a written record of everything said and promised. Brian then emailed me and said that the cart had shipped out. Of course he provided no tracking number. I replied, "If I do not receive the tracking number or a credit for the full amount within 48 hours of my email dated 6/5, you leave me no choice but to open a dispute with Pay Pale, file a complaint with my credit card company, file a fraud complaint with the Villa Park police agency and add my complaint to the existing Illinois Attorney Generals law suit against BHM Golf". Brian didn’t respond to that so on 6/8 I opened my dispute with Pay Pale. The following is exactly what I wrote on my dispute to Pay Pale that was forwarded to Brian.

I placed my order with you on 5/17 and your web site to this day says “Please Allow 3 to 5 Business Days for Delivery”. When I printed my receipt, it says “Availability: drop ships from vendor in 3 to 5 days”. If I check my order status online it tells me 7 to 10 business days. Then you sent me a confirmation email stating a lead time of 7 to10 days plus 3 to 5 days shipping. I find this to be very deceptive in luring customers to buy from you. I emailed your customer service rep Rebecca on 6/1 informing her that if the cart can not be shipped by 6/5 which was the latest estimated Delivery date, that I want to cancel my order and a credit issued for the purchase amount of $180.00. I also asked that if it did ship to please provide me the tracking number for proof. I never received a reply from Rebecca.

On 6/6 I emailed you Brian asking you to cancel the order and issue me a credit within a 48 hour time period. I also said do not ship the cart. Your reply was to call you, which I replied, all correspondence will be thru email so that we both have a record of anything that is said or promised. On 6/7 you emailed me and simply said that the cart has already shipped but you offered no tracking number or delivery date. I replied that if I don’t receive that tracking number or credit by today 6/8, that I will open a dispute with Pay Pale, file a complaint with my credit card company as well as add my complaint to the Illinois Attorney Generals existing lawsuit against BHM Golf which taking customers money and failing to deliver their merchandise was one of many listed complaints.

If you or Pay Pale would like to see that law suit, please follow this link.

http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/pressroom/2007_12/20071228b.html

If you or Pay Pale would like to see what other customers who have ordered from you are saying, please follow this link.

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller5592-p2-s1-d1.html

All of this can be avoided if you quickly credit my account.

This was Brian’s reply:

dude,
why are you doing this? we have done nothing wrong.. we told you
it was going to be ordered. patience is not your game.

your money has been refunded.

you can call me anytime.

I would love to speak to you.

I honestly believe that Brian did not like the idea of Pay Pale reading the attached links if my complaint turned into a claim. Afterwards he even asked if I would still like the cart!!!! About an hour later, I received an email from Pay Pale stating that they received the refund and credited it back to my card. Hopefully my approach can be beneficial to others who are dealing with BHM Golf and others like them.
