"My family ordered almost $400 worth of beautiful arrangements from the website of Ava's Flowers over 3 weeks before my father's funeral. I had confirmed the order the night before only to arrive to the church with no flowers delivered. In a panic, I tried contacting someone 30 minutes before the start of the mass, and had my call dropped. 800 number knew nothing about my situation. Their website falsely identified themselves as a local family-owned business, but they were actually a 3rd party contractor. The next day when I called them, they had no explanation about why they messed up the order. They said it was their fault, and "sorry for the inconvenience" - for burying my father without flowers!!! It was totally unacceptable!

Although they eventually refunded my credit card, I would not recommend Ava's Flowers to anyone hoping for a reliable delivery and competent service. They are a scam that truly delivered heartbreak for our family!"

"Order was delayed twice. Was orginally to be delivered on Saturday. No show. After contacting them it was to be delivered Monday. Received phone call on Monday that plant I had ordered was no longer available. Had to switch order, delaying delivery to Tuesday. At time of phone contact request was made for delivery to be made to recipient, not to be left with no contact. This did not happen. Plant was left in front of garbage. Only by happenstance is was seen. This was my first and last experience with Avas Flowers!"
