"Purchased the Barcelona Bass Guitar with amp, carrying case, strap beginners series for my daughter who is in jazz band as a 13th birthday gift. The guitar is beautifully made (I ordered the sunburst color it is red and yellow) and has an excellent sound. The bass is lightweight and she can move around well with it. The pricing was excellent for a complete set, I chose the free shipping package and it arrived within 3 days with UPS. My daughter was very happy when she opened it up on her birthday. Would recommend as a starter bass guitar. "

"My son ordered a guitar bundle through Austin Bazaar 2 weeks ago. It was supposed to include guitar,pick,strap,guitar bag and pitch pipe. We received the NEW guitar fairly quickly with a pick. Unfortunately it was chipped in 3 places, the strings wouldn't hold (had to have it re-stringed) and it was very dirty. It had been packed with no padding or peanuts. I emailed and told them that I am not worrying about the chips (didn't want to have to send back) but I did want the accessories. They said they would send out accessories asap. We received the box. In it was one guitar case. No pitch pipe, no strap. I am very upset that even when a customer calls unhappy they aren't worried about fixing it. If they had sent ALL the accessories I would use them again. As it is I will not. My son was VERY disappointed. "
"Love the pink Barcelona drum kit I bought for my daughter and had a great experience with Austin Bazaar...BUT, had previously tried to purchase same kit through Buy.com (selling for Austin Bazaar) only to have my order unceremoniously refunded, without any explanation, before Christmas. Luckily, my daughter's birthday is in January so I was able to purchase through Austin Bazaar...as I wish I had done in the first place! I would suggest Austin Bazaar dropping their association with Buy.com. They really dropped the ball!"

"As far as shipping, I was slightly annoyed. I ordered a Guitar Package, and It arrived quickly from Texas to New York; about 4 days (not counting the weekend), but when it arrived, the boxes were poorly tapped, not padded, and slightly open from the tape coming off. The Guitar box had a little chunk missing from it. I'm going to check out the guitar to see if there's any damage right now. Hope all is well..."
