Horrible customer service/Poor communication/Robbers

"Horrible experience with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I opted to order any fish.

I ordered some fish thinking price and shipment would cost around $40. As soon as I put in my credit card the price for changed to $90+. As soon as this happened, I tried to cancel my order. I called them, I emailed them and I texted them. For days called did not hear any response back until I was able to get a hold of them. The service representative was absolutely nasty and began to escalate his voice and calling me stupid. They charged me the $30 for the cancel
fee. I feel tricked. I knew they had a cancellation fee, but they gave no option for cancellation right away after making the order. They were
extremely hard to get a hold of, and once I did they were horrible. Save your time and money. Do not buy here. After reading these reviews it looks like I'm not the only one who's had this experience. I won't be surprised if they go out of business for their horrible customer service.

Frustrated.

"My order was not delivered in a timely fashion. After inquiring about it I was told by customer service rep. If I was worried about the fish that I should have chosen the more expensive faster shipping choice. When my order did arrive I had 2 of the 14 items ordered. I have been trying to contact the company since without success. I was also charged an additional $9 which I did not authorize. I am giving it 2 stars because after hearing all the horror stories from other customers I think it was a blessing that I got so many alive. Update. Just lost another fish.

$260 waisted

"Ordered fish they arrived in a timely fashion but one doa 2 missing fish and two more not healthy. I followed instructions on the website no response. I called no answer. Waited all weekend called on Monday Pete answered the phone an pretty much said to bad it happens. Don't buy here it's a waist of money. They don't care about you or the animals they are selling

Took 3 weeks to send, out of stock for one plant and replaced w/ what I didn't need

"When I put in my order for my plants it was supposed to ship the next Tuesday. Three Tuesdays later I sent an email, received no response but got a confirmation email saying my package was shipped on Wednesday. Got my package 4 days later and it turns out they were out of stock on one of the plants I ordered. Instead of refunding that plant or contacting to ask me what I would want to replace it they decided to upgrade my micro sword from half a square foot to a full foot. Half a foot was more than I needed in the first place. I sent in an email about this and after another week and a text I have yet to receive a response. "

Sent wrong fish and doesn’t know how to answer the phone.

"Horrible I paid $88 dollars for a yellowtail barracuda that was supposed to be 4”+ and I got a regular sized one not even 2” that should have been $68 dollars and when I called 50 times and texted their number no one answers and I didn’t have a tank to put it in because I have a bigger African tiger fish and bigger yellowtail barracuda and they ate it. $150 dollars for the same thing I would have got for a $.20 cent feeder fish. It would be one thing if they fixed their screw up but no one got back to me or anything. Very unprofessional and horrible experience. "

23 out of 35 DOA, 2 still missing

"Ordered $200.00 worth of fish, $229 after shipping, for 37 fish. Still haven't received 2, despite showing "in stock." Out of the 35 remaining fish that I did receive, 23 were DOA with 3 dying within the first 8 hours of placing in the aquarium. These fish were added to an established tank. Have been in the hobby for 12 years and took the time to acclimate them properly with a slow drip over the course of time. I e-mailed them a week ago using the format they require for DOA's (e-mail with order name, number in body of message and pictures) and have not heard back yet about them or the 2 missing fish. Will NOT be ordering from them again, nor will I be recommending anyone to order from them ever."

Dead Fish and no response

"I order some fish and when they arrived all 8 hatchet fish were dead! I called, texted and emailed. Twice!!! and still no response. As far as I can tell this site seems to operate as a scam operation. I would not do business with them EVER again! I will give them another 24 hours than I am calling my credit card company and we will dispute this charge. Don't EVER buy from these guys!!"

Unresponsive and dead fish

"I always been curious on ordering fish online but i never tried it. I really wanted a fish and I decided to go for it. Took a few days till it was shipped and 2 days after shipping. I was excited and curious. Once I opened the box the fish was dead. I was upset and I tried calling over and over. Different days and times. It’s been a week and I have tried texting calling and everything but there’s never a response. I basically just wasted my money on something I can’t get back. Bad place :("

Horrible person/company

"Pete is probably the worst person to buy fish from. This dude not only has a lazy and horrible work ethic, he will ship you dead fish as well. I purchased a Gold Nugget Pleco and a couple of Otos and decides to put an ICE PACK with them. Like, what the hell. It's sad to say my Pleco didn't make it. His other policies are horrible as well. Just don't even bother trying to get in contact with him either. His website doesn't work and when you do email him directly, he will have a stink attitude right away. Don't be like me and buy before looking at this guys reviews, please. It will save so much trouble and the fish lives as well. Don't even get me started about his attitude about buying from his "farm" and not a fish store. It's total BS and dude doesn't even raise them to a decent age. Just sends you little baby fish like you wanted baby fish. This dude is a total idiot and doesn't deserve to keep this business going. Even has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and buys the fish wholesale and just resells them from his garage. He does NOT even "farm" fish.

Never buying fish from here again

"These people didn’t give me the fish I bought instead they called me and said they are choosing the fish because the fish that I wanted weren’t good for my tank but even though I did my research on every single fish. Half of the fish that came we’re dead "

Dwarf Blue Ram Cichlids

"They were great!!! They answered all my questions! I had ordered 3 Dwarf Blue Ram Cichlids for my daughter for her birthday! They arrived on time, very healthy didn't loose any of them! I would highly recommend this place!!! Thank you guys for making my experience great!!"
