"I purchased a pair of American Flag cufflinks from AmericanFlags.com, which looked great on the webpage. The webpage also stated that the cufflinks came with an attractive gift box. However, when I received the cufflinks, the "white" on the flags (the stars and white bars) were not white, but metallic color. The stars were barely noticable unless you looked at the cufflinks straight-on due to a plastic-like covering. Additionally, the cufflinks arrived in small ziplock bags, not a gift box.

I returned the items and contacted the company about the 20% restocking fee they charge for returns. Since the product was hardly what was advertised, I was hopeful that they would waive the restocking fee. After several emails exchanged, the company refunded the entire purchase price. The company was very quick to respond to my emails (and even responded to this review, which I have made some edits to reflect their response)

While I was unsatisfied with my purchase, I was able to return the product and receive a refund. All in all, it only took a week from the day I submitted my online purchase, for the company to process the order, deliver the order, respond to my request to return the product and refund my purchase price.

Maybe the flags are okay at Americanflags.com, but I would be weary about purchasing items based on the images online. And if you have any problems, do not hesitate to contact the company, as they are very responsive, and can be accommodating.
