"I bought a PC from this compamy mostly for hardcore (pro) gaming. Well, I bought it in July, it's October now and I have yet to play a game. The main problem was videocard. First of all they put a different brand. To make things worse hte card happened to have bad memory. They replaced it after a while (it actually took about a month). But the replacement turned out to be faulty as well! To be absolutely sure I checked this with on my friend's computer: same pattern, same lock-ups. They STILL do not replace this card for the brand that I actually bought and that is indicated in the invoice. They say they do not have such cards. But they STILL show list this brand (PNY) as available for their custom desktops. I am especially pissed off because the price the card went down 50% and they do not want to give me refund. They do not even set any date for when I can expect to get the card that I bought (can you imagine this!). The prices meanwhile continue to go down. So I had to agree to get a different brand (yet again) and now I am waiting for it. To summarize, they ship you not what you buy and when there is a problem, they don't respect the customer."
"I used pricewatch to get a motherboard through this seller. They took the order and the next day I got an email stating because of "technical difficulties" they couldn't fill the order "cancelled". The site reported 46 of these motherboards in stock when I made the purchase.
I consider this a ruse to get you to their site and get you to pay more for a 'like product'."
"Have to say I VERY unhappy with this company so, and I have not even received my laptop. Placed my order on July 27 got an email stating order would ship in 5-7, if there are any problems I would be contacted.Almost 2 weeks later still no contact, spent 2 days trying to call all the phone numbers provided with no one at either. Finally got someone to pick up and got the standard parts are on back order. Unless this laptop is the most amazing thing I have ever seen I will never do buisness with this company."
"I ordered my 2nd barebones kits from these guys about 2 weeks ago. I ordered the first through ACI Computer Store and the 2nd through AmericanComputech. I have had nothing but great expericences. I ordered the kit and I they assembled it and shipped it, I had it in my hands in less than 2 weeks. Their prices are unbeatable. I just got a ECS K7SEM mobo, a case, a power supply, a fan a heatsink, and a 1.2gh Duron for $128! I had problems with the power supply of the first system. About 2 months after I had goten it. My warranty was over, but I called them up anyways. Told the guy my invoice #, he gave me a RMA# and I had a new better power supply within a month. Great service, great prices, great company. The sales people are a little hard to understand, but hey nobody hires americans anymore. "
"I ordered a GeForce 2 ti 64MB TV/OUT card on the weekend on their website. Monday morning I got a call saying they were out of stock that they were getting more in next Monday. Also, they asked me if I would like to keep my order. I told them I would. Next Monday, it still showed pending, so I called them. They said it will probably ship out by Wednesday. Thursday evening it was sitting on my doorstep, exactly what I ordered. Packing was atrocious, though. They put the video card box into an old Motherboard box without any padding. Pretty dumb, but everything was ok. Not sure if I would do business with them again, though. I am skeptical."
"Not good. Place one order the previous friday. Order was shown as Pending when I was told it would ship monday. I send an email mentioning reseller ratings and they reply nastily but do point out a problem with their order status page.
I place anopther order, this time nothing. I call and am told they took no orders on the monday, very strange seeing as thewy charged my card!
Very dishonest. I am contacting my card issuer to take this matter up immediately.
I will not be dealing with this company again."

"I order a barebone Duron system from NewGenPc. My order was placed on 6/13/02. I got my system on 6/21/02. The kit is up and running. So far,so good. Well there is one problem. I can't turn the computer off. If I press the switch on the front it wont turn off. I have to use the switch on the back of the case. Other then that no problems so far."
"They have good prices and they delivered my system on time. Their people don't seem very knowledgeable and it's hard to understand them with their thick Russian accent. "Sales staff was not very knowledgeable about product, but prices were good so I ordered anyways. After about a five-day delay, my product shipped out. However, upon checking with UPS tracking, it was being sent to Arkansas instead of New York! I checked my order information online, and sure enough my billing and shipping addresses were listed as the correct ones. After waiting almost three days for an email reply about this situation, they told me I probably just had the wrong UPS tracking number. As I found out, they really did ship my package to Arkansas.
Perhaps an honest mistake, but the delay experienced by this company could have been shortened dramatically if the staff had been more on top of things.
Also, the reply I got via email was from a yahoo mail account, which I thought was a little unusual."
