UNSAT Professionalism - Crooks, thieves. They will not make it right!

"This is a brutal one, and quite shocking. I am very disappointed.

I purchased 2 x KS3M IceRiver Miners - value just under 26,000 through a third party - MINERMART.CA

I had to borrow money at 2.5% - roughly 1,000 to just get the money to make the purchase.
I then made the purchased and received confirmation of my purchased for the 2 x miners.
I then started purchasing support equipment - cooling, for the miners - roughly $2,000
I paid express shipping to have the miners delivered ASAP.

When I went to look at the shipping status - to see if it was still in processing or if it was on a truck and enroute, the order was not in My order history. Hmmmm, Thats weird. So I go to the email I received, clicked on the order # and it prompted me to a message saying, "there has been suspicious activity with your account, please contact customers service". I couldn't believe it. I went to check the miners and their price had increased by $2,000 dollars each - So now I'm forced to pay $4,000 dollars more? I've already left a warning about how greasy MINERMART.CA magically increased the miners by $2,000 each within this time frame.

I contacted Amazon Canada customer service to inquire what happened. I told them the exact process as stated above and that I am now out $1,000 and have all this support equipment coming as well. The representative said that they will send this inquiry to the Escalated department and that I will be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. That was on a Monday. I was never contacted. I waited until the next week and contacted amazon again asking for an update, but was obligated to repeat the story again. I was then told for a SECOND time that it would be sent to their Escalated department and I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours.... NOPE. Another week goes by and now, the little guy realizes that AMAZON doesn't care in the slightest.

So I called them again informing them that their action of cancelling the order without notifying me and the company I purchased the miners from raised the price of each miner by $2,000 each was wrong, if not false advertisement, fraudulent, or whatever greasy illegal action this is needs to be made aware. I am not only out a lot of money, but If I want to purchase similar miners I am now required to pay much much more. Does that sound right to you?

When talking to the CSR, they started back peddling with excuses and reasons that did not make sense or follow any logical order, in fact it was quite comical at times on how their replies repeatedly contradicted themselves and would never stand in court. For example, the CSR said that my account was put on hold for spurious activity due to that purchase of just under 26,000 and cancelled the order on my behalf without even contacting me for confirmation. Dear Amazon, Credit card companies out there, Visa, MC, will put their customers credit cards on hold if they too see suspicious activity, but they will then contact the customer and confirm if it was them or not. Had this been the case the entire process could of been avoided; however, Amazon took it upon themselves to cancel the order without contacting me, then had the audacity to say that my account was put on hold, yet somehow I was still able to purchase multiple support items any day after that. I do not appreciate being lied to.

They then had the audacity to say that they do not have control over their 3rd parties ability to raise or lower prices, yet somehow, magically within 24 hours of purchasing the miners, with confirmation. The order was cancelled without me being notified and each miner was increased by $2,000 each. I asked Amazon, is this how you go about and conduct your business?

I was then passed to their Supervisor / Manager who asked what can we do for you, Not, we are going to make this right. Even knowing that I am out money there was not even the slightest inclination that they wanted to make it right. I told them, no I am not exercising in your greed and going to tell you how much you have set met back. For you miners out there, had I received the miners at the expressed shipping date, BTC was at 64,000 CDN, it has since reached it's all time high of 93,000 CDN.

I told the manager that sure, I'm out any investment money and the 1,000 for the borrowed money plus the other fees that I am required to pay, so be it, but I will be taking this to a broadcast station, CBC, CTV, as the world needs to know how wrong this whole situation is, on both Amazon's part and the way the do their business with 3rd parties such as MINERMART.CA

Scammers, liars and thieves

"When u cancel your item(s) before they are shipped they are suppose to Not charge u. Today I called for my same day shipping and I still hadn't gotten a shipped notification for the item by 3:30pm and so this was mu last straw with them. I called to cancel the order AND my account and the girl says OK. I get 2 notifications 1 that they cancelled the account and the second they shipped the package. Literally right after I got off the phone. Despite me asking to cancel it. Not ONLY that the package I was suppose to get same day shipping is now set to come for tomorrow. So they pressed ship right away to get the last few dollars out of me and set it to be delivered for a day I won't be available and won't be all week now. Talking 2 "supervisor" said there was nothing he could do and I told him angrily 3 times the policy wasn't shipped and according to their policy u can cancel it, also the package is guaranteed for 1 day shipping since it said it was processed and yet they now have it set for the next day. Absolutely scammers. And thieves. Never again. Costco is cheaper for the things I need anyways without having to wait all day 8 am-10pm or worse for 2 or 3 days 8 am-10pm for your parcels that are guaranteed but never come on time. Also the "supervisor" sends me an email the package will be returned to them. Then they have to Inspect it and only THEN Give me a refund. So it could get damaged in the truck, me not even seeing the package and then once processed could take 5-7 (3-5 for bank and around an extra 2 for them to process it themselves) business days to get the money back. WHY WOULD A LEGITIMATE COMPANY TAKE THE MONEY IF I ASKED TO CANCEL THE PRODUCT?! Oh right. They did that to get a few measly bucks. Jokes on then if they send a driver out 1-3 days they waste their delivery guys gas coming to a apartment that is going to get sent back."

Questionable if not illegal.

After having failed all attempts to have my issue resolved I am forced to pursue other avenues.
Started out as complaining about having to now pay a 5.00 a month subscription plan to use the blink cameras I purchased 18 months ago outright. We purchased them for the sole reason there was no monthly fee.
Well, after numerous attempts someone someone listen to me through chat ( 5 different reps) they finally called me. 3 or 4 more reps and 2 supervisors I was told there's nothing they can do. We had purchased 6 cameras, an additional hub, 2 memory sticks an 2 holders. Almost $1000 worth of Blink products ( Amazon Blink products). They offered 10% discount to buy more Blink products.? What? Again, not listening to my issue. Then they offered 1 month free of the extortion being pushed upon me ($5.00). Really?! She then pretended that she couldn't hear me in which i clearly stated " oh so this is the game you're going to play so you have an excuse to hang up.
The call ended on a sour note as I informed the supervisor rep ( a woman who said her name is Sess), that I am filing a complaint with the BBB. I hung up then went to my past orders to find dates, prices etc. While in my account I was suddenly prompted to enter my credentials to log in?.I tried to log back in and lo and behold my account was deleted. Within 5 minutes of me getting off the call from the rep. Tried everything before having to call back yet again. Going on 2 hrs now. Got a rep from the states and after giving her an order number slated for delivery the following day I was informed the order was attached to a Richard grey whom I've never heard of in my life and my account was deleted including all past orders ( which info I need to file a complaint), all correspondence including call logs and chats, my email, cc info, everything. She put me through to another rep for canada and that rep couldn't do anything as I didn't have an account anymore, that I must have deleted it. I escalated the call and got a wonderful rep in Columbia who tried his best to find out what happened. I was told it takes 15 days for a customer to delete their account proving I didn't do it as I am having a delivery the following day. Had 5 purchases within the last week alone. Again, nothing he could do as I have no more account.
I tried creating a "new" account the following day but cannot as the email and phone number already belong to an account.hmm.an account that doesn't exist anymore. Am still dealing with this as there is absolutely no recourse for me to take.
Next is BBB anyway, as well as contacting legal counsel if it gets to that. All because nobody would listen to a plain old customer with a concern. Just kept passing the buck and then arbitrarily canceling my account including 2 alexas, Amazon prime, prime tv, 6 cameras and all past purchases.
Beware putting all your eggs in 1 basket, especially 1 with so many holes. I am not creating a new account and ditching everything amazon and passing this info to everyone I can share.

Poor customer service.

"Dealing with a stolen package since December 29th. I did as Amazon asked filed a police report had my report sent to them once it was approved with my permanent case number. Then the lies began . I needed to call in and have it verified while on the phone.I was told by an call the police department to let then know they needed to have my report verified by Amazon and they were trying to reach them .As now to my knowledge your police department will not disclose information to Amazon and they know this. Finally got an honest agent who also confirmed this to be true. They had all the information that they needed and could have issued my refund once I sent the pdf in from the police department. "

Delivery issues

"I never used to have a problem with Amazon.ca but they sure have gone down hill. In this past week I had ordered 4 different items. I have Amazon prime so most items I was suppose to get the next day. Not one of my items showed up. All of which still says out for delivery nearly a week later.
I contacted Amazon and even though I had been refunded every Amazon agent says oh it must be lost. Seriously what are the odds of losing 4 different items that any one person orders. I am so disappointed with this company.

They lost my package and refuse to give me refund

"I was in disbelief when customer service twice hung up the phone on me when I asked them for my refund back to my credit card as they lost my package for the 4th time. I can't believe I am writing this as I always thought their service was top-notch until today. The first time I ordered a package, it said it was 'undelivered' so I called them up and they gave me a gift balance to order it again. The second and third time, it was delivered to someone's home (They showed a picture of a home that wasn't mine). I submitted a report, added extra delivery instructions, and they assured me it will go to the right address this time. The fourth time, there was no picture and it said it was handed to a resident. When I received that notification, I immediately called them and said who did you give it to as it sure wasn't handed to me. They told me to wait 24 hours and then call back. When I did, they told me: "the unusually high number of lost orders that you have reported exceeds this occasional expectation". I kept saying I didn't receive the package and they basically called me a liar and hung up. Not once but twice. I called my credit card to report that transaction and disputing it with my credit card as I speak. The credit card company told me if they didn't ask me for a signature then there is no proof it was handed to me. The way they dealt with me was the worst way a company handles the situation. Never using AMAZON CANADA AGAIN.

"Since at least 6 months back Amazon has changed their policy for Prime members quite frequently they are adding shipping costs or if you want to buy the same item one day shipping would cost you more money than 3 or 4-day delivery for Prime members I think it's time to look for local suppliers, And the customer service it's not the same as it used to be."

"AMAZON BUYERS be CAUTION ⚠ , NEVER buy products from AMAZON or refund, AMAZON TRIED TO SEND YOU THE DAMAGED PRODUCTS AND ASSUMING YOU WILL RETURN IT, WHEN YOU RETURNING, AMAZON WILL ALWAYS CHARGE YOU RESTOCKING FEE FOR CLAIMING THAT THE PRODUCTS YOU RETURN WAS DAMAGED.
I purchase from Amazon.ca The LG laptop I received was the incorrect descriptions as state on Amazon's website, and I didn't even open it and decided to return and when Amazon received it, and charged me $360 restocking fee for saying that the laptop has seriously damage, that's a LIE, I didn't even run this laptop how can it be damaged, the only reason is Amazon send me the damaged false descriptions laptop and knowing that I will definitely return it and when I send back, Amazon just use the only one reason to everyone who return the electronic "YOUR ARE RETURNING A DAMAGE PRODUCT" tried to ripped OUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!
I've spend so much time on calling and emailing to all level of Amazon.ca Rep, but either insist or not replying back for my appeal for refunding $360

I enjoy ordering from Amazon'ca

"I've been a Prime member of Amazon.ca for many many years, and have purchased hundreds of items from them. To me they are the best online retailer I know. Better than Nordstrom, Bestbuy, Hudson's Bay, etc. To me having the merchandise delivered right to my door suits me best, and their return policy is easy and excellent. I have so much faith in them 'm buying more of their stocks."

Worst customer service ever

" I bought a product from Amazon that was defective right out of the box. The first representative told me that I could not return it as it was after 30 days, I asked him for a supervisor and this is where things really fell apart. I had to point out the exact place where in their website it says 90 day return policy. Then the things that I have to do to return it make it almost impossible for me and all she could say was " Oh well that's our policy". I was even told by Andrea in their Costa Rica call center that the supervisors can not call anyone back !!! I also learned that my Prime 2day shipping does not mean 2 day delivery, just that they will ship it in 2 days , that it could take upto a month to receive something ordered off of Amazon Prime. I guess I should thank Andrea in Costa Rica for opening my eyes to how bad customer service can be.
