"I bought and paid for merchandise from Ali Express. Each item comes separately, shipped by individual vendors. I bought a couple rings that looked like they came out of a gumball machine. They took about 6 weeks to get here. I ordered a couple pairs of capris from a vendor called "Young Lady" I never received them! When I contacted Ali Express, they wanted me to upload evidence of my complaint. What evidence can you possibly upload showing you never received merchandise? They had all the order information.
They said the seller had tracking information showing two failed delivery attempts on one day, saying "no access to delivery location" but showed delivered and "left in mailbox" on the next day.
My mailbox does not move around from one day to the next. No fence, no reason for no access. It is, however, too small to put two pair of capris in it.
Ali Express claims to guarantee their merchandise but they DO NOT!

"don't go to aliexpress if you're looking for quality high end products, that the first advice, knowing that, if you want to buy something cheap and crappy, you can check in aliexpress, in there you will usually find good prices (lots of options and different sellers) the customer service from aliexpress isn't good, they usually answer back with generic answers and don't even bother in researching about the order you are asking for, and then, you have the sellers, you can find some that are very nice, answer fast and understand what you ask and answer back something coherent and then you can find some that I think don't even know english and they will answer back "yes" or "not" when you are asking the colour of the product, and also some descriptions of the products are wrong, for example they show something in the pictures but you're buying just a part of it or even something different.. unorganized. so be aware and i would recommend going to amazon, you will find usually the same products and the price is just a tiny bit higher but it will save you a lot of headaches."

"Basically, seller falsely advertised that a battery charger was compatible with certain type of battery. It wasn't. Despite AE accepting their seller had misrepresented the goods I was still expected to send the product back to China at MY expense. So essentially their buyer protection is a total scam, worthless.
Their customer service agents are also a complete waste of space. One even told me to cancel the return of this product on the site so I could then appeal. I told the agent the site was telling me the dispute time was up and thus couldn't be re-opened. Agent said no, it's fine. Please cancel it. Then, surprise surprise, can't open a dispute. Agent response, ooops, sorry. So what will you do about it? Nothing I can do the agent said. So AE screws up then they can't even fix their mistakes.
The agents are really useless. Nothing more than a filter to delay, deflect. They have zero power, can't resolve anything, can't even rectify their own stupid mistakes. They will often say I will contact the seller on your behalf. You then get copied an email which basically says "Our buyer is trying to contact you, please log in and check your messages". Nothing. They trot out phrases like I'm sorry, I understand, let me help you resolve this all clearly designed for the feel-good factor while essentially actually DOING nothing and resolving nothing, you can literally waste hours with these drones.
I have had some great products from AE and received quickly to. It's all fine UNTIL you have a problem then you realise their buyer protection is not worth the paper it's written on and that they have the worst customer service in the world. Either avoid altogether or keep the order value low (e.g. nothing you can't afford to lose)."
