Useless after sales

"Motherboard Network Card went faulty, ok its not the end of the world, I only asked if it was covered under warranty
you would have thought I would have asked for Everest to be moved.
No help from Support, answering my query with utter nonsense.
Anyway I bought a new Card for £8.99 from Amazon, job done.
A message of advice, if you want to compete in selling Computers or alike, you need after sales service, sadly this set up doesn't have it, and therefore Customers like me will simply go elsewhere.

Abysmal Customer Service - Avoid!

"Abysmal customer service and onerous returns policy. Avoid!
I purchased a Motherboard, CPU and RAM from AWD-IT a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, the motherboard failed, which was proven by using the CPU and RAM in another motherboard. I have since purchased a replacement motherboard from a more reputable company, so now have a working PC.
AWD-IT refuse to repair, replace or refund the motherboard, which is in breach of the Consumer Rights ACT 2015. They say that they require the CPU/RAM as well. However, the CPU/RAM is not faulty. The fault is with the motherboard, which they will not replace/repair/refund.
Avoid at all costs and use them at your peril!

Sent Wrong product no return option for Ireland no refund no communication

"Ordered PC components 4 weeks ago,
Shipment was little slow they meant to disaptch on Thursday when orderd then got delay till Friday and only went out of wearhouse on Monday.

After getting the parts they sent me wrong CPU Cooler with no support for LGA 1700 from diffrent brand then what I had ordered. I asked for fast solution to eaither replace or they offered to sent bracket to support LGA 1700 one week went no response so I asked to return instead and refund. After they sent me link for return but only for UK, I have ordered to Ireland and their return link only support UK so I mentioned this to them and no response. It's over a week now and I'm getting ignored and not possible to reach anyone via email or even their discord server seems they just trying to scam me. I will need open dispute this week against them as they are not responding to me anymore. Not recommedning to order from this company.

Terrible customer service

"Sent product back,didnt even open the cooler all original packaging even outer and sent it back within 7 days, paid for postage when returning then they had audacity to take more off the refund when they received it, like really?! like £20 quid gone down the drain"

Faulty equipment, stopped responding to emails

"I bought a motherboard, CPU and RAM as a bundle from this company. It arrived in good condition though CPU box gone, CPU and RAM already installed. Installed the new kit and it was really unstable for a day or two before it died completely with motherboard error code 00 meaning mobo or CPU dead. Arranged return easy enough but when they received the package back, they said that 2 tiny (~3mm) cosmetic scratches where the screws went in were cause of problem, Asus wouldn't accept mobo under warranty. I argued it, sent photos of scratches to local computer repair company who said scratches were fine, to be expected when screwing mobo into case, nothing to do with failure. Never heard anymore from this company, eventually got refund through Amazon."

Wrong/Faulty products and bad customer service

"
First issue was when i ordered and arctic cooler and one fo the fans was broken on arrival. i contacted AWD and in fairness they were quick enough to send me a new fan but when that arrived the housing was cracked but was salvagable so i just kept it rather then waiting for another one.

My most recent issue i ordered i ordered a gaming pro carbon motherboard which i found after install was faulty and would not boot as there was what seemed like an issue with the CPU socket not locking into place. It was only then that i realised not only did the motherboard not work but it was the wrong motherboard as they had sent me a gaming Pro Carbon Max Wifi which is a cheaper board.

I contacted AWD to be told that both are practically the same but that the WIFI version was better(still not what i ordered and not factual). I asked for a refund on the fact that it was not what i ordered.

I was told that i needed tro send the motherboard back for testing to see if it was faulty and if found to be fact then they would refund me. I argued that i should get a refund for the fact they sent me the wrong product but which the denied everytime.

I recieved directions on how to send to the product back to be tested which i did nearly 3 weeks ago now and havnt heard anything back. this also cost me €23.00 to post as their free post returns seem to only work if you live in england. I have been contacting the company for over a week now trying to find out what is happening with the motherboard i sent back and also with my refund for the product and havnt heard anything back. im essentially being ignored now and i fully expect AWD-It to tell me they never received the motherboard back.

2 out of 3 products were faulty. 1 product was not what i ordered and customer service has been a bit of a joke.

Disappointing service

"Ordered a pc case on 19/09/20, case was in stock, paid extra for next day delivery, as of writing this on 25/09/20, no sign of delivery. Sent email to customer service over 24h ago, no response received.

I appreciate that during current covid situation, things are difficult operations wise, but do not give false certainty when clearly you cannot fulfill it.

Disappointed with my recent experience with AWD IT. Hopefully, in future this will be different.

Terrible experience

"Prices are okay, but charging a 40 pounds for building fee and then mess up my build totally, by being incapable of reading my order properly is just sad. Customer service is abysmal it took me two email and 20+ calls to reach out to them. After all them have offered me the difference in price between mismatched parts, a whopping 10 pounds, and recommend me to by cheap wifi card to compensate for wifi that is supposed to be integrated in my motherboard in first place. Try to avoid this place and better build your pc yourself with some Youtube tutorials."

Avoid

"I would take great care with this company - avoid them if at all possible. You might save a few pounds but it's not worth the risk. I ordered from them once and I received faulty goods. Things like this occasionally happen and are usually easily resolved but AWD refused to accept a return and instead stuck to a line of blaming me for causing the damage. As far as I could tell from talking to them it seems to be their standard operating procedure to always blame any sort of fault on the customer. Your only recourse is to your credit card company or the small claims court."

B450 motherboard with Ryzen 3600x chip and 16GB of DDR4 ram

"This company terrible! I orederd a B450 motherboard with Ryzen 3600x chip and 16GB of DDR4 ram the parcel was late and poorly packaged the Ram was missing and i was also was suppose to get Resident evil 3 for free with the motherboard promotion again this was missing, the communication was woeful and when i did get a reply they asked my to send pictures of what was sent, no idea why! when i asked about the free game they said they was still waiting for them to come in and would send it when in stock. This package was ordered on the 20th of April and i have still not recived the game but they still advertising the promotion. I did eventually receive a refund for the missing RAM. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHABBY COMPANY. ps i still want my free game"

AWD-it Order No. 79785

"Purchased a motherboard bundle and some other bits from Awd-it. The Board was sent out untested and thrown together. (Far from professional) when the board arrived it was damaged and there was evidence to suggest it hadnt even been tested before dispatch.
They also charged me £8.95 Delivery Charge for next day delivery and took for days to arrive.
I spoke with a gent called mark buckley at Awd-it and although very polite soon had attitude i got a mouthful and no customer support or care.
IF YOU WANT GOOD PRODUCTS THAT GIVE GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY 100% AVOID AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Avoid at all costs. Appalling customer service

"Similar feedback can be read on eBay. In short, if you get any item purchased from this company; you will most likely receive little to no support if an issue arises. I have been waiting several weeks for a faulty item to be rectified. They simply ignore emails or reply days (even weeks) later if you are persistent. I wish I had done my research before purchasing from this company as I have been left out of pocket having used them. If you are reading this and considering buying from this company then look elsewhere. "

Avoid all costs

"I bought a gaming PC from this company. From the moment I received it it never worked. Blue screens of death.. GPU sag. After trying everything I eventually had to send the rig back for a repair. They said they replaced the GPU and stress tested it and apparently the problem was fixed.
So i got it sent back. Bearing in mind this took over week including delivery and collection etc.
Day I received the rig back. Exactly the same problems. So it got sent back again this time they told me they would build me a full new rig from scratch. - why they needed to receive the rig back before building and sending me another is beyond me. Oh I know why... because they had zero intention to do that. On day 2 I rang up for an update and was told they hadn't even looked at it yet as they had "an emergency which was taking priority" because obviously having my cash for over 4 weeks and two returns isn't very important to them
Essentially dont buy from these guys - you will have problems. Spend a little more and go to PCspecalist
