"Having received a used and broken product which was sold as new, I returned it. Apart a text notifying me that the faulty mouse had arrived at their warehouse, I have received no communication for three weeks. I have phoned the company three times now and been advised on three occasions that my money will be returned to me, so far there is no sign of it. Looks like a scam to me."

"Worst experience of a retailer in my life.

I purchased a BD-ROM drive and tried it in two PCs, with a variety of known working SATA power and data cables, and while it was showing in Device Manager as working, and could eject via the OS, it could not read any type of disc, CD audio, CD-ROM, DVD video, DVD-ROM, BD video. All but Blu Ray were confirmed as working on other optical drives (no alternative BD drive available).

In case my abilities were in question, I am a Data Centre Engineer and maintain server hardware, have worked in electronics retail and for tech sites doing hardware reviews (working with hardware manufacturers online and in person), and have an academic background in computer systems, both hardware and software.

I attempted to start an RMA via their web form and had no response. I tried emailing them and had no response. I had to call them to start the RMA process and had to repeat all the technical information and troubleshooting methods over the phone.

After sending the faulty device back, I did not receive any emails or calls. I called them after about 10 days of sending it back and they confirmed they had received it 6 days ago at the time of the call and that they were still testing it, and have a standard 7 day testing policy on returns.

Unsurprisingly at this point, I did not receive a refund, email, nor phone call the next day, and had to resort to a PayPal dispute to force a refund. AWD-IT/ADMI did not respond to the contact attempts from PayPal, and PayPal saw the technical steps and unnecessary effort to try to resolve the issue with the retailer, and gave me the refund.

This returns/refund process took around 3-4 weeks in total, and required an unbelievable amount of time on my part as the retailer would not lift a finger to resolve a straightforward situation (a product that was shown as faulty on two different systems by a hardware professional).

I am disgusted by this experience and will never purchase from them again and strongly recommend that no one else makes the mistake of thinking you are getting a good deal.

Questionable product quality, the worst business practises and none existent customer service.

"I phoned up to ask when a specific model of the Corsair K70 would be in stock, and was told that they had just had a shipment in and that it would be updated on the website.

The new stock appeared on the website, I ordered a keyboard, and then the next day after still not receiving a confirmation email from them (or being able to view the order online) I was told that it was a different (more expensive) model that they had got in and that they were supposed to be issuing a refund (which they hadn't done).

After talking to an arrogant customer service rep I got my refund - Useless staff, useless service - don't even bother.

"Avoid at all costs!

Order a GTX 970 and a case on Monday with next day delivery. Both were shown as in stock, yet by Wednesday neither has been shipped.

On Wednesday I was told that in fact the GTX 970 was not in stock has not been since Christmas and they dont know when it was going to be in stock. They offered me initially a cheaper card for the same price. So I cancelled the GTX 970 and was promised that the case would ship on Wednesday.
After talking to them on Thursday I was told on Friday that in fact they dont have the case in stock but they are expecting it on Friday and I could get it on the next Monday. So I cancelled that as well.

The staff is initially friendly but when you start complaining the person I talked to turned really nasty and arrogant.

AVOID DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

"Not good at all. Ordered a gaming computer. Delivery all went well but within 7 months totally unusable. Have returned 3 times. First time they replaced hard drive but subsequent times they're claiming there's nothing wrong. Now won't even discuss. I'm stuck with a pc that won't even load windows. Reinstalled numerous times but same problems arise each time. Now having to take legal action to resolve. Not happy."

"First class service! I purchased one of their gaming PC's and after requesting a slight change to the case (colour of the LED within the case to be precise) they did this with no hassle or added charge at all. Delivery was when they said it would be, the item was packed very securely and when it's out of the packaging it's an incredibly powerful machine. Currently only ran football manager 2015 on the system but am looking forward to really putting it to the test with a more graphically demanding title soon.

First and foremost however the service i received was brilliant and i would recommend them to friends and family without a second thought!

"I placed an order on an item that was claimed to be in stock on Sunday. On Wednesday evening I received an e-mail telling me that in fact it wasn't in stock despite the website still listing it as in stock.

I phoned them and after 15 mins on hold I spoke to someone who, in their credit was very helpful. I've now paid the difference for a more expensive item, but have had my shipping upgraded to guarantee it for the weekend.

Less than ideal, but it's how a company deals with problems (which are inevitable in any company) that defines their quality.

"I ordered a gtx 295 because they told me that they were in stock , then it took them 3 days to send me a different model when i paid for next day delivery.
When i complained about the service they decided to cancel my order and recall the package , this tied up my funds for 5 days untill i got a refund.

"I brought a ZOTAC 295GTX PCI-E card and after a few weeks of hardcore gaming, it popped. ADMI couldn't get me a Zotac replacement unless i was willing to wait a week so they upgraded me with a BFG 295GTX. Absolute result, lifetime warranty jobs a good'n. Cheers ADMI"

I called you at about10:00am this morning after trying to get through & being put on hold for an hour about this order. Finally i spoke to someone who yet again put me on hold to find out if order had been shipped as you clearly state on website its in stock. After waiting for about 2 minutes just to be cut off, not happy...!!!!
After trying to get through for about another hour, off which one call i was on your stupid hold system for about 10 minutes, i finally spoke to a guy called Scott, who informed me he would look into the delay of the order & contact me on my mobile that afternoon. Well it is now 6:07pm in the evening & still no call.....!!!!!
I ordered this case last Saturday so it would give ample time for delievery as i am building a system which is due to be finished for next Wednesday.
This is the first time i have used A.W.D.IT as i thought your prices were pretty good but so far its seems the service is well below par & very unprofessional & at this point will not be recommending to any of my friends...
I have now asked for a full refund & have ordered else where.
Avoid at all costs...!
