"I don't believe all of these positive comments are actual purchasers. This is the type of store that doesn't just process your order. Instead, after you order they call you and try to get you to buy junk at rip off prices. So you may be happy with the initial price of your item. But then they try to sell you memory cards, or "filters that you must have." I ordered a lens and was told I had to have the "filters" for the lens to work right. Jack at 42Photo told me he would sell the filters "below his cost." Come to find out the filters he sold me for $199 are sold on Amazon for $20. You can get a good price from 42Photo on some items. But don't get suckered into buying anything extra from them. If you are like me and don't want to waste your time fighting off these types of aggressive sales tactics then go to the numerous other Camera dealers with good prices that don't do this stuff (like BH Photo, for instance). I owned a canon t2i for about 4 months and shot video mostly. i loved the image and video quality on the 18mp sensor but the size was too light and small for me.
I absolutely love the 60D the size and weight is perfect. FOr me its way better than 7D and it doesn't feel plasticky at all. The improved ISO range from T2i is also very good i really missed it in the T2i and the new layout of the buttons is amazing too.
The swivel screen and manual audio gain control definitely make it the best for video work. Great camera and a really high quality Kit lens too.

I was looking for a canon EF-S 55-250mm lens for my Canon Rebel camera and found that 42nd St. Photo had the best price on the internet. Not only did they have the best price but they had the best price by so much I was sure it was too good to be true so I called their 888 number and confirmed the price with Jonathan before I ordered the lens. I ordered the lens on Monday 10/22/10 and received it on Wednesday 10/24/10. What better service could I ask for when the shipping was included in the price of the lens? "I highly recommend 42nd Street Photo. I would describe the service as FAST. I also got a free cleaning kit as a surprise and they offered me more free stuff just to fill out a survey. These people are working hard to satisfy customers. I am recomending them to others who are skeptical of going anywhere but B+H. There I ordered late night on thursday after the shipping cutoff. On Friday, they called to make sure I had everything. I didn't feel pressured but they did make sure I had all the components I needed. It was shipped ground on friday, got here wednesday. Just as expected from the UPS ground shipping map. East cost to midwest shipping is really only 2-3 days depending on distance. Only thing I wish they offered was accident protection. "
