"I have ordered several shirts and a couple of beaded bracelets for my husband, and all have been winners. I am a well-seasoned shopper with many years of experience (New York City) and have found the shirts to be of exceptional fabric and detail. The sizing is consistent (Large always fits him perfectly) and I almost always order a CD or two for our listening pleasure. I would not have been aware of the artists unless featured in the catalog, so appreciate that 32 Bar Blues supports the arts and artists in general. I have also ordered two pairs of shoes/sneakers for him, both of which were winners. He enjoys wearing and I enjoy seeing him in all of his shirts and accessories from your company. Then one day I took a chance and ordered a shirt or two—and it was well worth the “chance.” Since then I have been a repeat, happy customer. The shipping is quick, the communication cordial and the products are true to size and amazing quality. As for the negative reviews, nothing in my experience comes close to what I read in those. I returned one item—I mistakenly ordered a large instead of medium—and was issued a credit right away—no problem. I am a very critical consumer, but I know that problems will occur—that’s life. It’s what the company does to address the problem that matters—and 32 Bar Blues has not failed me. My only “complaint” is they do not offer free shipping, no matter how much you spend. "I purchased 2 t-shirts with Chess Record logo on them. After just one washing the collar separated from the body of the shirt. I returned the shirt for just for an exchange because they assured me this was an aberration. I used their return label and UPS verified that they received it. That was October 31st. It is now February and I have yet to receive a replacement. In the meantime, the other t-shirt has also separated at the collar. They can keep the money. The most upsetting thing though is that when I was assured that the shirt was just a one-off defective one, I purchased another on Nov. 14th for a dear friend in France who had visited the Chess Record Museum with me when he was here in Chicago a 3 years ago. I sent it to him for Christmas. C’est dommage!"
"Returned a shirt for a different size which UPS verified that it was delivered 6 JAN 2023. 32 Bar Blues did nothing for 3 weeks and it is virtually impossible to reach Customer Service -- they did not respond to my emails and their phones are so dysfunctional that several times, I reached the busy signal or the line would drop. Granted they carry unique and interesting high-priced clothes, but if anything ever goes wrong, your issue will not be resolved. The shorter path is to contact your credit card issuer and prove to them that the return was delivered."

"I ordered a gift to ship to a friend on Dec 12 for Christmas. It didn't ship for 8 days. It won't make it to him until after Christmas. They should say something on the website about what the cut off is for holiday arrivals. I own several of their items myself and like some of the styles. However, like others have said, they gouge you on shipping and returns."
