BUYER BEWARE-----GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!

"I find it VERY SUSPICIOUS when reading through reviews they are either outstanding 5 star service reviews or 1 star worst company to deal with reviews, don't you? I placed an order with this company and according to my confirmation email they stated I would receive an email when the item shipped. I ordered a DVD/CD-RW SATA replacement part for my laptop. I paid $29.94 total including shipping. A good price for a hard to find item. My credit card was charged immediately. It has been 11 days and I have not received my confirmation of shipment email. I contacted the company via email and called them. No response and an answering machine took my message. The recording just simply said "please leave a message", that's it, no company identifier. I have seen other random reports on Yelp and Facebook regarding this company from disatisfied customers with the exact same issue. One person who actually went to the store in Santa Ana said the place looked like a hole in the wall with a temporary feel, the sign was a cling to the window type and he didn't get a good feeling for the place. I am writing as many bad reviews as I can on the internet regarding this scam of a company. BUYER BEWARE-----GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! "

"BUYER BEWARE - 
I sent a video card to Ztronics for repair and not hearing a word from them one month later, went online to check  on the status.  They had my status as "Not Received" in spite of a proof of delivery from UPS.  Multiple e-mails met with no response.  Never talked to a human in spite of multiple phone calls.   Looks like I am out a $400 video card.  Will be looking up the phone number of the California States's Attorney for a resolution.

So glad I found these guys to repair my laptop

"I sent in my Alienware M17x R4 that I've been having major issues with and spent a small fortune having it repaired locally, and still ended up with the same problems. I was referred to them by Dell and told that they are one of the few places that fixes them and that the recommended. I have to say they really seem to know what they are doing. The previous places I took it to were and I hate to say it clueless. Their pricing is very reasonable and I they were able to fix my issue without replacing anything. I was told by the two other computer shops that I need a new motherboard and video card, which they quoted me over 800 bucks to replace. These guys did everything for 129 plus the return shipping. So thankful I found them and would highly recommend them to anyone who has an Alienware Laptop. I also waited to write this review just to make sure I didnt have any issues, but everything is working like wonderfully. "

The single worst customer service experience of my 40 year life!!

"I needed/still need a sli cable for an older gaming laptop that isn't manufactured anymore. I was happy to find one listed for $13 on the ztronics website. I paid with a credit card and was sent a confirmation email stating that I would receive an email with the tracking number. A week passed by with no email so I decided to contact them. I went to the website and was unable to find a number under the contact us tab, so I tried to use the messaging service they had set up. It kept telling me my email was invalid. Which is not the case. I then clicked on the tab to send in my laptop to be fixed, hoping I could find a contact number, which I finally did. I called, left a message, and received an email the next day asking for information about the type of laptop and cable I needed. I responded with the information, and the day after that I received an email saying it had been shipped to the billing address instead of the shipping. Whatever. No big deal. I made arrangements to get the package from the billing address, but the cable was not the one I ordered. Again I called and left a message letting them know they sent the wrong cable. I felt bad, knowing that I had only paid 13$ and was becoming such a headache for them. So I offered to pay the return shipping if they could send me the right one. 3 business days passed without any response, so I called again. I was amazed when someone actually answered the phone. I gave the women a quick breakdown of the situation, and she asked me for my order number. I didn't have it with me and told her that I could call her back with it. She then told me that it's probably out of stock and she could just refund my money. I told her that I'd prefer she send me the cable. To which she replied "I can't send you something if I don't have it." And I informed her that she didn't yet have the order number to check whether or not she had it. She told me that she was with a customer, and I was "Crazy to be so upset over a 13$ cable." Right before hanging up on me. I retrieved the order number from my email and called back leaving one last message requesting that they at least check whether they had the cable in stock before refunding my money. They next day a refund posted to my account. And that was it. No answer, no explanation, no apology. Total incompetence from start to finish, and a waste of 3 weeks of my life"

"They stole my Alienware M17 after I paid them over 500 to replace the video card - this was in February and no contact since -- BEWARE this site and company is a huge scam -- I called dell and Alienware and they said they would advise every one to stay away from them because, one, they receive a lot of complaints from people that want to know why they have not fixed or returned them, and two, they are not an authorized service center for any Dell or Alienware products.

"So, I sent paid my 125 to ship my 9750M to Ztronics. That was for a diagnostic. They received my diagnostic and everything was fine according to them except for the Daughter 7950GTX card. They said that my Parent 7950GTX wouldn't run by itself. Not sure about that because I thought one video card would still run? Anyway they told me that they would install an ATI refurbished card for 200 bucks. When I shipped my system their printable shipping label was unavailable so I had to pay about 40 bucks to ship it (excluding the insurance I paid for). They said they would credit me 20 bucks for the shipping. So I am already in the hole about 20 bucks. Anyway, I get a call this morning telling me that now my Motherboard won't post. I am not an idiot. When they received it, it worked. Now it doesn't work. They should be responsible for that since it was damaged while in their possession. So, they tell me that I have to pay for a refurbished motherboard also. So that would be 300 bucks. So now I am looking at over 500 bucks. They never credited me my 20 bucks for the shipping and instead they said they would "knock it off the repair prices". I went online and found a refurbished 9750M kit, the whole kit, for about 200 bucks. Minus the video cards and CPU. My CPU is good already. So I called them back and asked why I had to pay for a motherboard when they obviously either broke it or something they did caused it to fail. They totally disregarded what I was saying and said they would return it. Of course I am still out over 200 bucks and the end result is that I received nothing other than what I already knew. I then asked if I paid them 200 bucks just to install a new MOBO (remember the 125 you pay covers all labor) and they said they couldn't do that for that price. Anyway, now they say they will credit my card back the 20 bucks and send me back my laptop. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I seriously regret not checking this companies ratings to begin with. I am in the customer service field and if I gave that type of service to a client I would have to fire myself........"

"We had shipped our M17X Alienware to Ztronics because it had a small crack on the screen. They held the computer for OVER 2 and a half months! They told us before we shipped it out that it would cost us $400 to replace the screen. We called once every week to get the status of our laptop and each week they always told us that they were having problems with the company that they order their Alienware screens from and that it would be another week! On our last phone call they told us that we could either wait another week for the screen to "hopefully" come in or they could replace our chipped screen with one that had a crack in it (according to them it came shipped from the factory with a crack). We ended up asking them to ship it back without the screen being fixed. On top of all that, they wanted to charge us $500 instead of the $400 we were quoted (and it would also be $500 for the "new" screen with a crack). It takes forever to get anyone on the phone as well. Worst business I have ever dealt with! The laptop ended up being shipped back to us with a scratch on the screen and a few dents on the body of it."

"Bought a motherboard for a dv2000 from them and installed it...could not get it to work so I called them and they said to send it and they would take care of it. They had it 3 weeks and sent it to me and discovered no wireless so I sent it back. They put another motherboard in and charged me shipping back and I always paid shipping to them keep in mind. I got it back and wireless worked a couple of times then pc would not boot anymore so I sent it back at my expense. Waited and they put another motherboard in it and sent it back..no wireless so I sent it to them again and waited they sent it back again with new motherboard and still wireless would not work and after a couple times booting the pc was dead. Steve Barcsok would not return calls and Gery Lopez then started to bill me for service after I never recieved a working motherboard to begin with. I think at the most they are a bunch of self taught pc repair wanna-bees and I took it in the butt hard with no kiss from them...so buyer beware I have been messing with this pc with them for about 5 months now and have a pc that will not even boot at all...."

"Pros:
-Cheapest price for a replacement laptop motherboard.

Cons:
-Replacement motherboard died within two months.
-Their idea of a 'cooling kit' was a corroded copper square bent straight down the middle.
-They don't answer emails. (2 sent)
-They don't answer the phone during their own business hours. (Called 5 times now!)
-Regardless of which department you try to contact over the phone, all of them lead to one single voicemail box belonging to someone named Anthony Franco.
-Anthony Franco doesn't think much of returning phone calls.

"Purchased Zetronics 80 inch Hi-Resolutions video glasses with VGA for computer viewing. The specifications indicate 1080x768 for computer viewing. Resolution was poor and inadequate for the reading of print material. I would not recommend this product for those seeking to read a computer screen. They will not pay for the return of the product and I am still waiting for the credit on my card. "

I just want to comment on my experience at Ztronics. I have a M9750 laptop that the video card blew up on. After talking to Alienware, they referred me to Ztronics as a place that could probably help me. I called and found out they had the video card but the only way I could get it is to have it installed there. And I would need to leave it for 3 days or so. I drove to the location and was met at the counter buy Jerry Lopez. A brief conversation, and he wanted to verify my problem. Sure enough it was the card, then he surprised me by saying, do you want me to install it while you wait? WOW that was great. In the next few moments he asked if I wanted to upgrade my unit? Well that was a no brainer. And within a hour or so, he put in the new card, a upgrade processer, and a additional hard drive. The he offered me a discount for the service. That was uncalled for but he wouldn't accept it any other way. I was sitting in a spot where I could watch all the other techs. These guys meant business and seemed concerned about all they did. It left me with a feeling that I SCORED on a great place to do business. After a week I just made up my mind to pay back my discount and a bit more as a THANKS for the great service and attitude. I will always use these people and will refer others to them as well.

"We purchased a motherboard but never received the bios which should be included in all motherboard purchases. Contacted the company and they said to return it with an RMA Exchange Request. We did send it back with the request and the motherboard in its original box. Waited a few weeks....nothing. Contacted them through Amazon. Ztronics promised to send a check (in October). Contacted them again in November. They promised to send a check and they never did. Contacted Amazon...Ztronics promised to send a check..never did. Called Amazon again in Jan. Amazon said there was nothing we could do since it was over their time limit. We are out $75 plus shipping. Please do not buy from Ztronics"

"Thank you so much for the prompt professional service. Some of us rely on our high performance machines to pay the bills and every day our laptops are down money is lost. So we put so much on our IT guys to get us going. But when they wrote of my machine as dead then send me on a wild goose chase buying all the wrong parts one loses all hope. Thankfully the only available motherboard on the internet was available to ztronics service technicians. Two days of shipping and a quick diagnose later only to find it was misdiagnosed and the real bad part was available at a reasonable price. Thank you so much, my laptop works like a dream and you even took all the smudges and fingerprints off.You guys are life savers and I will surely recommend your services to anybody out there who has given up all hope.
