Poor customer service, ad was not accurate

"I would recommend never booking parking through the way app, or at least if you do so understand that way is not fully honest about the services you will receive, and their customer service is horrendous. I booked a trip, and purchased a parking spot for six days at a site that we claimed had a free shuttle to the airport. We provided the address, and the phone number to call the shuttle when you arrived at your parking space. There were several issues with my reservation. First, the address provided in the “get directions“ area was the wrong address, and took me to a different parking garage in the same general vicinity, but not the one in which my reservation was. Second, when I called the shuttle, the phone number provided to me went straight to voicemail six times. I never received a phone call back. The lot I was parking in was supposed to have an attendant, but there was nobody present in the parking garage. When I reached out to way to try to resolve this, as I paid more for a parking spot that came with a shuttle, they stated that they couldn’t verify or vouch for the fact that the site had a shuttle, and that I would need to take it up with the parking garage. They refused to help at all, which is frustrating since their site is the one that claimed that my parking spot had a shuttle. It ended up costing significantly more than if I had gone with another service, and I will likely never use Way again as I can’t trust the information provided when booking a spot. Covid happened two years ago. If you can’t update your information in two years, then clearly you’re not paying attention"

No parking spots

"Booked in advance for parking spot at a garage, way.com took my payment immediately, got to garage and was turned away stating there were no spots, even though I prepaid, do not use this site they are just selling spots that don’t Exist! Keep your money and save yourself a headache of trying to get your money back "

Way will NEVER offer a refund so don't even try

"I booked long-term parking thru Way at Logan airport. My flight schedule changed so I never parked in the long-term lot. I notified Way the next morning asking to shift my parking reservation by a couple of days so that I could work out a new flight. I was NOT asking for a refund, simply asking that my reservation be shifted by a couple of days. They refused, stating that I needed to notify them IN ADVANCE of any change. I had NO advance knowledge of the flight change.

So, I'm out $200, while never parking the car in the long-term lot.
Best not to use this service if you expect actual service.

Way Parking Booking Nightmare

"Recently, I booked parking with Way.com at the Oakland airport. Getting into the parking lot is no issue with the QR Code but when I returned back from trip to get out, I was told that I need to pay additional on top of what I paid to Way. The parking attendant told me that there is no way he can help me and I need to pay the amount stipulated even though all the dates/time were booked correctly with Way. When I contacted Way, they agreed to the refund and they have told me to wait for 5-7 days for the bank to refund to my credit card. I'm fine with this except that today is the 3rd time that they telling me this same excuse.
Really disappointed with Way on how this company's operation can collapsed like this.

Horrible experience and customer service

"I will never use way I again. The customer service is horrible. I was hung up on and a manager said he would email me with refund information and he never did. I was charged for days I didn’t use. So there can be no flexibility in your travel dates which is rare with flight delays, cancellations and covid. I’ve never had this issue with any other lot or app before and I travel often. Already deleted the app."

I purchased non existing service

"I purchased a spot on the parking lot through Way.com, in the Ramada Temple in Salt Lake City, there were 2 separate reservations 12/7/21 to 12/12/21 and 12/12/21 to 12/26/21 when I parked my van I informed the front desk at Ramada that i have a 2 reservations and my car will be staying until the 26th of December, I'm in Florida right now and my family is strike by Covid, i purchased another reservation online on Way.com and called the Ramada front desk to inform them that my car will be staying there until December 31st, I was told that the hotel was sold on December 15th to a homeless shelter and no one is responsible for the cars, i asked for a phone number to the new owner, i was told that they don't have it. I called Ramada corporate office, and I was told they are not responsible for this, i called Ways.com and spoke with the manager Abbi, they told me they are not responsible for the cars, the hotel was sold, i asked how on the earth I was able to book and pay for 3 reservations online if the hotel was sold, the manager asked me if I called them after purchasing the reservation, i told him, no, this is not what the contract and instructions specified, if the hotel was sold on the 15th i should not be able to buy the reservation from the 12th to 26th, i should be notified that the hotel is sold. Right now I'm Florida without option to fly to SLC Utah and retrieve my car because of Covid, and I learned that there is no one responsible for the parking security, so I bought a service which does not exist, an I'm not able to find a person or entity responsible for this mistake."

Same as everyone. Left stuck to find parking last minute.

"I booked month before my flight with way.com. For $89 for 5 days.
Finally the morning of my flight, I drive to motel6 parking lot at 3am to park my vehicle. I walk in the lobby and ask where should I park my car, that I pre-paid with Way.com, I quote from the attendant, “There’s no spot, and I dare you to find a parking spot!”. I frantically left there heading straight to airport. Found short term parking spot to end up paying $270 for 5 day parking. I message Way.com, I got my original $89 after few days of calling and emailing them with receipts. But all they tell you is, read the contract. They don’t guarantee nothing… I mean they don’t care. If you miss the flight or can’t park after pre-paying, it’s not guaranteed. Don’t trust this company. They don’t care. Don’t park with them! You might miss your flight.

Cheating Cheater

"Wish websites allowed 0 or negative stars for Way.com. This company is a cheating cheater.

They overcharged me for a parking in a garage near LAX and promised to refund me the overcharge, but then they stopped communicating with me. All my time spent on it was wasted.

Story -- at the beginning of October 2021, I booked online (via cheapestairportparking.com, part of way.com) and pre-paid for 5 full days of parking in a garage near LAX (due to various constructions, LAX long term parking is in big demand). Getting to / coming back from the airport via their free shuttle was OK (beware -- the driver expects (aka demands!) you to tip him/her even if he/she did not provide any help). I parked my car there for about 4 and a half days. While exiting the garage, the gate was blocked for me and a guy came out from somewhere saying that I entered the garage too early (compared to my booking), and left too late (compared to my booking). So the system forced me to pay $10 extra in addition to what I already pre-paid to exit the garage. I used a credit card. Back home, I contacted the company with the details, and after perhaps half a dozen communications, a person called "Aromal" said my credit card will be refunded for the overcharge. But almost 8 weeks later, nothing was refunded. In fact, they ceased to respond to my emails.

Facts: my booked entrance time was about 1 hr earlier than my actual entrance time; and yes indeed i was about 1 hr later leaving the garage than my booked time. But again my total parking time was about 4.5 days and I pre-paid 5 FULL days.

So the take way -- if you book online, make sure to give yourself perhaps 1 hr ahead and at least a few hrs after your expected time to enter and leave the garage. No where on the company's contract says so but then they charge you even if you pre-paid for full days but only used it for partial of the full days -- as long as your entrance/exit time don't match what you booked, they may force you to pay extra. For example, if you're schedule to enter the garage at 10am, book to enter at 9am; if your flight is scheduled to arrive at terminal at 3pm, book your garage exit time probably 6pm. In fact, since in this case, they'd be counting another day, so I'd put an exit time around 9:59am the next day (because they charge you on number of days, not hours).

Terrible company. Stay away if you had other choices.

Not a good experience - avoid this company.

"I had a covid cancellation with them. They would not refund, just gave me credit and I accepted since the amount was only $38 and I knew I would use the credit later. A year later, I booked a $58 reservation for Thanksgiving week 2021 and was charged only the balance of $20. However, when I arrived at the lot, it was gone, dug up, fenced in, under construction.
I tried other surface lots but they were all booked up. I had to get to the airport shortly after to make my flight so I parked at the airport lot and was charged $120 for my stay.

I went back and forth with them for my $58 refund. Took me 2 weeks but they end result was that I get a message that I was refunded. They only gave me $20 back.

They claim no responsibility and say that they don't own the lots, they just book them. Makes no sense, especially if a lot no longer exists. Very bad site, NO-Way.com.

Total Rip Off

"Nightmare. In July 2021 I purchased a month of parking, October, though Way. Only October. I paid the full price of October in July when I ordered the parking. At the end of October, Way charged my credit card for November even though I had not ordered November. I advised Way using its own records, and I received only a boilerplate response that no refund would be forthcoming. I told Way to cancel any further purchase on my part and expected a refund. I also advised my credit card company. Instead of a refund, Way has now informed me that I purchased December and I will be billed for the upcoming month. I cannot stop the billings and Way has no customer service to actually talk with. Stay away from this company."

"Advertised as $12 a day parking and then way charged $27 a day + outrageous taxes and fees. Cancelled and then they charged me 3 more times for $937 and all kinds of canceölation fees. Will not refund. Only 3 days airport parking for $2000+ dollars. WAY.COM ARE MAJOR Scammers."

Scammers!

"Purchased parking on app. App said lot was attended and to show screen to attendant. Lot was NOT attended! There was no way to get ticket from kiosk for car. Called customer service and was on hold for over 20 minutes. Sent an email and as of today (over 24 hours later) still no response. Tried to cancel but app would not allow. Ended up paying double to get a ticket so that we wouldn't get towed. Oh, by the way the app price was the same as the parking lot price."

They have NO CONTROL Over the booking sites. Do not book on them.

"We booked through Way.com & we were told to call the number provided for Pier Sixty Six parking at FLL airport. no one was picking the number, hence we called Way.com. After being put on the hold, we were able to speak with an Indian Male, who put us on the hold for about 13 minutes & disconnected. That male had our number & made no attempt to call us back.
Then, we called them again & this time a Female Indian picked up, We told her that the previous guy disconnected the hold call. Despite hearing us, she put us on the hold & disconnected again.

Please do not give this company your business.

"Purchased parking for San Diego airport. When I arrived at the garage the attendant said that Way overbooked customers and their lot was full. In a crunch to make my flight on time, I had to search for another place to park. Very stressful and unpleasant experience. Please do not give this company your business. Their support is non-existent."
