"Based in (supposedly) London, England but their stuff comes from *surprise* China.
I emailed this company 3 weeks ago for an order update and got a response with a tracking number with some unknown international carrier. The website of the carrier looked very suspect and the tracking# came up with nothing. Since then, I have emailed Shoespie twice with no response.
I think this company is a scam. I paid over $120 for boots that were to be a Christmas present. I am lodging a complaint with the BBB and now have to work with my credit card company to remove this charge, if they will at all. Total BS. Give me a refund, Shoespie!

"I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from them as a first time customer on March 29. The first pair arrived April 28th. They weren't exactly as described, three color block heels instead of two, but I still liked and kept them. On May 2nd the second pair arrived and were not as described or as they appeared online. As I couldn't find a return shipping label or return address that wasn't in Chinese I went to the website and after finally finding a email address to inquire about a return address and return procedures I was informed 2 days later that IF they accepted my return I would only be reimbursed $70. of the original purchase price of $90. and I would also pay shipping. Then ask if I would consider keeping them for a $10 discount! Replied no and still did not getting a return address. But was informed that American returns can be returned to California warehouse after they give me more instructions. Still no return address given. Today I have contacted Pay Pal ( thank goodness for them) they are refunding my money and taking care of everything from here! Hope I like the 3rd pair when they arrive!"
