"This is by far the worst shopping site I have ever used. They let you know, after the fact, what you can return and how much money you will get back. They will only refund you the lowest amount they have ever sold the item for, even if you paid them twice the amount. If you buy 10 items you will be lucky if you can get a refund on even one item. This place is criminal. I would not recommend Rue La La or their other site Gilt to anyone. You will get ripped off!"

I have never in my life seen such a drawn out draining process to receive a product and even longer to return it. I paid for expedited two day shipping and my product came two weeks later! I also sent the product back the same day it came to return it and a month later still have yet to receive my refund. With packing and shipping skills like this and and umempathic customer support they won’t be in business long! everyone should not purchase from them so they don’t have to deal with the same gut wrenching experience I had too.

"I bought a Lilly Pulitzer photo frame that looked adorable as advertised. It arrived today and there were two pieces of 1/8 glass without means to assemble. Much to my relief, I noticed, "Returns are free and easy" printed on the receipt.
I tried to generate a return label and received the message that my item was not returnable. I checked the receipt and noted a disclaimer in tiny letters. This double standard policy is unfair to customers."
"Please make sure if you received something damage, you take lots and lots of pictures. My mistake, I received a broken necklace without the pendant, I returned the package has received without taking pictures and this company refused to issue me a refund but kept the necklace. If you refuse to issue me a refund than the right thing to do was resend me back the necklace so I can sell it and recoup some the money I'm out. They literally stole from me. Now I have found out they advertise jewelry as 14 karat gold and you take it to your jeweler and it’s sterling silver or 10 karat gold. Better yet they advertise diamond earrings and they are fake or man made garbage. Then you want a refund they say of no your not a good customer ask your bank to fight to give you your money back because tough you are not getting a refund from us.
This company must have been taken over by new owners. Within the last 6 months I have received missing items with refusal to have my money refunded. I ordered two pairs of shoes the same manufacturer one came with 2 right feet and the other shoe box had only one shoe. I received a skirt instead of a shirt. I received a broken necklace and a pair of earrings with missing stones. Every time I tried to get my money back they would send a return label that did not work and then I had to pay to have it picked up. This last experience was my final experience I found a great deal on a gold necklace so I ordered 9 of them and I received 4. Now they will not send the necklaces or refund my money. They blatantly said I have to fight with the creditor I used to purchase them and I am now banned from shopping with them which I obviously I would be a fool to anyway!! Just stay away from this company I use to tell everyone to buy from them but now they a horror show."

"I was actually a long time customer and extremely disappointed with their customer services and regretted for doing business with this organization. I have placed an order and the order was not shipped for over 18 months where they already charged me. As I contacted the customer service, they stated that the order was showing as shipped in 2020 on their system, so they are sorry for what happened but do not take responsibility as a mistake made on their end. When I reviewed the tracking detail, it showed that the shipping company did not receive the order till 2021 summer. I have made multiple complains and requested refund of the items. I checked for several weeks after I shipped back the items and didn't see any refund. After another call with the customer service, I found out that they issued me a credit on the account, which I will no longer use. What a big waste of time and money!"

Did you know...that if you place an order, and then immediately....like within MINUTES, immediatly cancel...they will tell you they can't cancel it and you have to wait for it to arrive before you can return it...BUT WAIT...even tho you just placed the order minutes ago, you have to WAIT for it to ship to you and then you ship it back and then you are CHARGED for the return shipping on a product you tried to cancel MINUTES after placing?!?!?! WTF people. Oh...and yeah, you don't have to pay the return shipping if you accept merchandise credit.
So DO NOT buy anything...do NOT checkout unless you are 10000000% sure, because if a milla-second passes after you submit your order, and you change your mind...you are screwed out of that money cause you can either get it back through merch. credit or pay $9.99 for them to SHIP you something you didn't want and you to SHIP it back to them. HOW...HOW does that make any sense."

I ordered a bracelet from ForeverCreations in New York a suppose to be diamond bracelet and the quality looked like cheap flakes (mind you nothing described on Rue La La). I spoke to a customer service clerk and she gave me the run around. I sent it back myself and they said the didn’t get it. I called customer service and they said I needed a tracking number. I made my own label and sent it back and they claim it wasn’t in their system. I know what I did. This was a waste of mine 120.00. They will not give my money back. Buyers please beware of Rue La La and ForeverCreations in New York. Fraudulently"
"Ordered a watch and Spanx Jean-ish 0 both in one order, same order number, but they were shipped separately.
When the items arrived, way later than supposed to arrive the watch had a different color and the Spanx were larger than usual.
When returning the items they withheld $ 9.99 for each item for shipping!
Now that is a great business model to make money!
