"i echo the negative comments previously posted and then some. i placed a pc order. i started checking on the order status via the web site. after a few days of no updates, i started emailing customer service. i was told there was a problem with my credit card. we mutually agreed to cancel the order and resubmit. i had email from customer service confirming the prior order had been cancelled. this time, within days the web site indicates the pc shipped, but with no shipping number. once again, i emailed customer service; they tell me the pc is a very popular item, high demand, etc., it will ship on "tuesday". tuesday comes and goes and the website still doesn't have any shipping detail. out of curiousity, i check my credit card statement online. refurbdepot charged me for two orders. after a 20 minute wait on hold with refurbdepot, i spoke with a service rep who told me the first order was never cancelled, both pcs have shipped and they'll be there next wednesday 2/15. i offered to forward the email to her indicating the order had been cancelled, she gave me a fax number instead. i'm refusing shipment. wish i'd heard about this site earlier."

"They have charged my credit card but haven't heard anything from them. I don't have an invoice number since I can't get intouch with them. I sat on hold for over an hour only to be hung up on. If you like that kind of service this is your store!"

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

10 days it will take me to get my 2nd day air laptops from them. I was consistently LIED to - the items shipped you'll have them Thursday; then they shipped Wednesday you'll have them Friday; come to find out they shipped Thursday and I'll have them Monday!!! I cannot do business with deceptive liars - no MORE!!!

"Read the ratings, and the store is not really good. I did, but took the risk. I entered my zip wrong, sent a mail any crossed my fingers. They sorted it out quickly and correctly, very surprised. Package was shipped timley, cost not excessive, and camera was exactly as described."

"I will NEVER order from Refurbdepot.com again! I recently placed an order with them for a digital camera. Nine days later and the order still has not been shipped! What is worse, I contacted them five days ago to check on the status of the order and the customer service representative assured me that my order was being shipped that day. I called again today to find out that I had been lied to and the item is not even in stock (even though the web site says that it is)! This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my wife and now I am stuck trying to find a substitute. Refurbdepot.com never bothered to let me know the item wasn't available and they didn't waste any time charging my credit card. Now I am in the process of trying to get my money back! BUYER BEWARE!"

"Ordered a camcorder on 12/06/05 and still have not received it as of 12/21/05. I needed it for 12/19/05 so I made sure to pay extra for UPS 2nd day. Customer service's answer was that there was a problem at the warehouse and they couldn't locate my order and that if I didn't want it when/if it showed up then refuse it and they will charge me for the shipping and a 15% restocking fee. FOR THEIR MISTAKE ! Check out their record on www.newyork.bbb.org.
I wish that I had.

"Order a laptop from this company 10 days ago. They sent me a faulty computer. From day one it was received, it could not be powered up. Contact their customer service immediately. They said that they would not exchange for another one and the only hope for me was to pay my shipping again to send the laptop to the manufacturer for fixing. Still waiting for my credit card company to settle the dispute but I will never buy anything from this company again."

"Dishonest about available stock. Buyer beware.

They claimed it was in stock at time of order. Didn't ship for over a week. I called, and was told 'it will ship today'. I check website again, and it still says 'in stock'.

Next day they tell me that it has been discontinued, and I must select another product.

"I've order 2 LCD TV's Sharp LC-20B8US about 2 months ago (this was Oct. 7 2005), they've sent me about 10 emails explaining they were going to receive the TV's anytime in the next 2 days... I'm still waiting for a refund, I had to send about 50 emails to get an answer, it's really hard to get somebody on the phone they published. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DON'T BUY FROM REFURBDEPOT."

"I ordered some cameras from RefurbDepot. I got an email that my billing address didn't match the credit card records, which was incorrect. I emailed them the billing address again, and received the same email from them again saying my address didn't match! So I had to fax them an address verification sheet to them. Then I didn't hear anything - no confirmation, no shipping emails, nothing. I finally emailed the customer service, and they said "oh, yeah, it shipped today. We'll send you a tracking number when our system updates." That was a week ago. I haven't received a tracking number nor have I received my cameras. I emailed them again to ask about the status and my email was ignored. I don't think I'll be ordering from RefurbDepot again, and if the cameras don't show up in the next couple days, may be disputing the charges on my credit card."

"Ordered a Canon digital camera IXUS430 on Aug.5,2005. According to the website, the camera should be brand new and factory sealed. Called customer service and got confirmed that the camera is brand new. The delivery was quick. But to my surprise, it is a used camera. Box was obviously opened and little damaged. There is no receipt form. Package is also terrible. Since I will be traveling pretty soon, I am afraid that I will have no time to return it. I have to suffer the loss.
Bottom line, stay away from this store.

"I have not yet received the item, but I must say my experience with the refurbdepot.com staff was wonderful. I am really in a bind to get the item ASAP, and they spent a good deal of time on the phone with me to settle the various weird aspects of my order (such as separate ship/bill addresses), and to process it in the most expedient manner I have so far witnessed from an online merchant.

Gosh, I was so dumbfounded by their efficiency, that I missed out on the names of the two ladies who serviced me over the telephone. Now I really do want to send them a box of chocolates
