"purchased a xbox elite from them and never recieved the item. On the site they say the item was shipped after 2 weeks of nothing. I emailed/called them and then they told me the item was on back order!!! Why would you put shipped when you have not have the item in stock. Thats BS! They sell items they dont even have!!! I threaten to reoprt them to the IFCC and BBB if i didnt recieve my full refund which they did refund. They was lucky. Hell i might even report them for bad bussiness. The unit was NOT ‘factory sealed’, had a manual that was photo-copied, and used parts. I do not understand how the product I received was so far removed from accurate advertising. Not to mention this was a birthday present for my nephew. As is true with all the other postings I am also being defrauded under the guise of a return policy which lets you buy broken equipment and pay to restock it for someone else to purchase. I have been sending emails back and forth with them for three weeks with no results. They stand behind the return policy if not to totally perpetrate false advertising of 'factory reconditioned' equipment. Store is located in Brooklyn which as as always a prime location of false store-fronts and fake permanent address locations. Save yourself a LOT of grief and stay far away from these criminals."
"Well, to warn others, I never even finished my purchase with this company.
I placed my order for a refurbished Samsung 50" Plasma HDTV with Refurbdepot.com, because they had the best price.
When I called, I was told it was in stock, but that they were closing for two weeks for a holiday, but that my TV would be shipped out and delivered on the 13th of October.
I checked for a tracking number on the 10th, and they still hadn't even processed my order!
When I called to find out what was going on, they were rude, unapologetic, and informed me that they didn't even have them in stock!
My suggestion is to take your business elsewhere."
"STAY AWAY. I waited for two months for an "in-stock" printer. After a month it was shipped and then returned by UPS due to damage. RefurbDepot will tell you it will ship in 2 days, which is a lie. You will never get a straight answer. I found the same printer with PCRush.com for a better price."
"OMG!! this has been the worst buying experience EVER!! I ordered a Blackberry 7100t. It took a little over 2 weeks to receive. When I opened it and turned it on, guess what? It didnot work. I called refurb the next Am told them of the problem told them to keep it, I didn't want it replaced. They informed me there is a restocking FEE. How can you charge a restocking fee on a broken phone. So I said ok replace it. Guess what? three weeks later I receive the new phone, and it doesn't work. They have the worst customer service people working for them as well. They make you hold for 30 minutes or better then they hang up on you. They are RUDE!! I will NEVER order another thing from this place again. I will also be shouting how bad they are from roof tops."
"For the second time they are holding up my order becaue my shipping address is different than by CC billing address. On both occasions I have told them that the SHIP TO address is on file with my bank as an alternate address but they pay no attention. Further, they do not answer email and they do not cancel the order when you ask them to. There are many other refurb deals out there. These people are the only ones I have had this problem with and are not worth the hassle. Burned twice. Never again."
"Ordered a refurbished Canon 30D. Said it was in stock and would whit in 1-3 days. After 3 days I called and they said it would ship today. Repeated this every day because I received no tracking number. Finally after 2 weeks, they said the cameras are not in stock and would take another couple weeks to get in stock. I demanded a refund."

"Found Refurb Depot by a web search for Philips lcd tv's. Typical easy, intuitive and simple web site and ordering, best prices found. Ten minutes after order processing, I was called by Joe to inform me of an out of stock condition but assured me of a delay of only 3 days with my order!! That was followed up with an email and subsequent shipper tracking, as promised. Incredible to think there are businesses that still value honesty, integrity and stellar customer service. "Almost five years ago. I purchased an Olympus camera from referb depot. got it quick everything was in the box. No problem as a matter of fact I still use that camera today. Since I had such good luck then I gave them a chance on 4/20/07 I purchased an Akai 26 inch it came within a week. The TV had a vertical line on the left side of the screen. Monday 4/30/07 I called them about the set. They gave me 1800 and said this who I need to call. When I called it. It was to get the TV fixed. I refurb depot back and said I'm not getting this fix you are taking this back. They said I have to wait for a RMA number. When I did get it it was 5/3/07 and it gave me another address to send the TV to. They got that bac 4/16/07. I guess they didn't have another TV to send me because I kept getting excuse after excuse. Finally 5/29 I asked for a refund. Every day after that I have been ccalling about my refund lie after lie. It is 6/6/07 nothing yet. So I decide to call my bank to get my money back"

When it finally shipped, the display BLEW UP my $250 video card in my $2500 PowerMac computer, and RefurbDepot REFUSED to replace the video card that THEIR MONITOR blew up. "Ordered Canon D20 body. Received shipment info within 24 hrs. When UPS tracking number failed to appear, requested reason why from site. Got response within minutes with the tracking number!
Received shipment in 4 days. Package arrived exactly as stated, sealed, all new manuals, software, cables. Camera itself looks and functions like a brand new one. Registered it with Canon too. So far, am very pleased with everything about Refurb Depot. Was a little nervous as I discovered this site AFTER I placed my order. But it has worked out very well for me and would definitely give them a shot when/if I need something else. "

"A horrible experience. I ordered a Canon camera. It arrived damaged and I wanted to get my money back. They told me of a restocking fee that I wasn't aware of and it took a long time on the phone to reach a real person. They advertise "factory refurbished, like new, A+" but the camera I received was "D+".
It may not be their fault since they get the refurbs from the camera company but they should have some quality control and make themselves more accessible to customers. To add insult to injury it took almost two weeks to get the item!!"
