"I ordered a new AC adapter from parts4NB for my Dell laptop, since the original adapter suddenly stopped working. (These adapters were not available for sale on Dell's website.) I had never heard of the store/website before, but they said they had both "original" and "replacement" AC adapters for my particular model of Dell laptop. The "original" adapter was advertised to have free standard ground shipping, but when in the process of purchasing the "original" adapter, I was brought to a page where I had to choose the shipping method, and the cheapest option was an additional $9.00 for standard ground shipping. Being apparently forced to choose, I selected the $9.00 ground shipping option. However, on reviewing my order before it was finalized, the shipping option displayed as the more expensive 2-day air option, though I was still only being charged $9.00 for shipping. I was in too much of a hurry at the time to sort out the issue, so I just accepted the $9.00 charge, and the speedier shipping method. The adapter arrived in 2 days and appeared to be new.
Unfortunately, even though the adapter was described as "original" for my particular laptop, after plugging it in to charge the laptop, I found out that it was only 65 watts, whereas my laptop needs a 90 watt AC adapter. I was unhappy that parts4NB misled me into thinking their adapter would work properly with my computer, but I probably could have avoided the headache if I had been better informed as to the wattage of my old adapter I got with the computer (I couldn't find anywhere that Dell had written the wattage on the old adapter).
Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, in that I got charged more than advertised for shipping (I wasn't concerned with speed of shipment) and that the product was apparently falsely advertised as being "original"."

"Initially when I ordered the docking station for my Dell E6400 the process and communications were good. The problem arose once the device arrived. When 3 of the 5 USB ports simply did not work. I made multiple phone calls and emails to get a replacement. FINALLY someone responded and told me to return it and they would replace it. They refused to cover the freight costs of the return until they could evaluate if it was indeed warrantable...fair enough. The problem is weeks later when the new unit arrived I could no longer speak to anyone about the money I lost in freight no one returned a single email of mine wondering about my freight credit.
