"After reading mixed reviews about overstockdigital.com I was very hesitant
to place an order but there good prices were really to good to pass up so I
gave them a shot I said what's the worst that could happen.

Now before I place any order I like to make sure there's an actual human
being that will answers the phone so I called on there toll free number, the
wait was about 2-3 minutes which is average the agent who answered was kind
and courteous and didn't take offense when I asked him the deal was to good
to be true.

After asking all the questions I needed to I thought it would be a good idea
to order it over the phone so I asked the agent if there was any benefit to
placing the order over the phone and he said that if I placed the order with
him that the item would ship out quicker so I did place it with the rep.

Now like some people had said he did try to sell me on a few items, but I
didn't mind that because there was an accessory that I didn't know I needed
which I needed that I didn't know about but I told him id hold off (wanted
to see if I could get a better price which I didn't so I ended up adding it
later on).

About a couple hours later I received an email with my order information,
and a UPS tracking number.

The package did come with everything they promised it would.

The only issue I did have was that they do require a signature for each
package so I had to stay home all day for UPS.

In the end I would most definitely use overstockdigital.com again because
they had the lowest price and great service.

"Even after reading several shady reviews, I went forward with purchasing a Nikon D300 about three weeks ago. After having to call and "confirm" my order, I've been patiently waiting the arrival of the camera. I finally called today to find out where my shipment was - to be told that the camera I requested was not in stock and they did not know when it would be in, perhaps 2-4 weeks?

"Placed an order and got a call telling me Amex processing was down. FIVE days later got an email asking me to call to verify order. Called and they told me their Amex processing was still down and wanted another form of payment. Being wary...I pulled the plug and went with a another vendor for $10 more.

Update 1 - I was called by their customer service. They indicated they would have offered a free warranty extension (reason I like my amex), but I had already ordered from someone else. Very apologetic and offered to send a filter kit for free to make up for wasted time and possibility earning future business. I appreciate the effort to maintain a good rating. Still cannot fully endorse (as I did not have a successful transaction) - but may give them another shot in the future."

find out that overstockdigital.com com not only had the best price on it but
also had it available in stock and ready to ship.
Looking at the website it didn't say "pre order" like every other place
online so I figured id actually call before placing my order.
When I called in a nice young fellow answered the phone and I told him that
I was interested in the new Sony pj790v and that I would potentially be
interested in placing an order for one if it was in stock and the price they
advertised what the correct price; he told me to hold for a moment and see
if he had any available.
When he came back on the phone he had said he had stock and if id like to
place the order, so I told him id be calling back.
So I got off the phone searched some more mad calls to several places and
saw that it wasn't available any where so I was thinking to myself maybe the
rep was just saying that to get my pre order? So I slept on it and called
Overstockdigital the next morning and got a different individual as I did
not jot down the persons extension that I had called a day earlier so I
asked him the same question that if he really had it in stock or was it a
"pre order" and the rep told me the same thing that they had it in stock and
ready to ship. I figured id give them a shot as it was cheaper than everyone
else and more importantly they had the item in stock
I gave the rep all of my information he asked if I needed any type of
accessories for the camcorder and that he would be able to get me a
discounted rate since I was buying it with the camcorder I told him id give
him a call back once I got the camcorder for a spare battery.
Within minutes of placing the order I got a confirmation email with my order
number and tracking information the camcorder got to me fairly quickly.
After getting the camcorder the rep was right I did need some accessories
for the camcorder. True to my word I did call them back and ordered the
spare battery and some lenses for my camcorder but unfortunately had to pay
a bit more because I didn't take advantage of there deal to buy them when I
purchased the camcorder.
I have definitely have found myself a new place to shop for all my
electronics in Overstockdigital.com as they were pleasure to deal with from
the get go."
