I wish I could give them no stars!

"Every time Hermes have a parcel to deliver to me, they leave it by the lift on the ground floor. Rather than take the lift, the courier leaves it in full view of anyone who comes into the building. On the last two occasions the parcels have been taken and each time Hermes tell me it won't happen again. Why won't they take the lift and deliver to my door. Jesus, I'm paying for deliver."

"Delivery Instructions Ignored. Leave behind side gate/fence totally ignored with parcels being returned to depot.
These instructions ignored today despite contact with the seller requesting refund if delivery instructions ignored.
Parcel left with neighbour today against my request of leaving parcel behind side gate/fence.
My neighbour works night shifts and does not want to be disturbed by a parcel being delivered against delivery instructions. I am not able to take deliveries during the delivery times offered. I will not be using any seller that uses Hermes.

"Please teach your drivers to knock in a polite manner like every other delivery company manages. The noise that I can only describe as ‘booting the door’ is rude and unprofessional. Knock or use the bell - it’s very simple. Maybe add a ‘manners’ section into the basic training too. Absolutely mortified with the service received today. I hate to think of the fright the delivery driver caused elderly customers."

WAITED ALL DAY CONFLICTING MSG DELIVERY LATE EVENING

"I dislike this coy its bad waited all day for parcel conflicting updates ,all day then delivery 19.15 evening.
We now attempt to check if people we shop with use hearmese ,if they do we don't buy from them . They try but can't get it right,delivery men don't ring doorbell or use knocker,just leave parcel on doorstep

Only use Hermes if you want it broken.

"Out of about six parcels sent over the period of a couple of weeks, two arrived damaged even though they were very well packed, it makes me wonder if the couriers play football with them, when I made a claim it turns out that the list of excluded items is so comprehensive that Hermes are able to get away with not paying compensation for anything, it seems as if the only items not on the exclusions list is the box you send it in. "

Lost 11 parcels and won't deliver to my road

"11 parcels didn’t arrive. Complained to Hermes, 4 weeks later they said ‘terribly sorry but our self employed driver refuses to drive down your road, so we’ve arranged for your parcels to be delivered by one of our vans within 48 hours’. 2 weeks later, still no parcels, response from Hermes ‘terribly sorry but we’ve lost all your parcels please go back to the retailers to claim a refund’ (all 11!!). And it now appears that any parcels shipped via Hermes will not get delivered and I’ll have to wait 3 weeks before I can get a refund. Shocking service and shocking customer service. I get about 10 parcels a week from DHL, Amazon, Yodel, Royal Mail, UPS etc and have never had a problem with a single one, only Hermes!"

WORST COMPANY EVER!! LOST MY 200£ WORTH PARCEL!!

"HERMES IS THE WORST COURIER COMPANY! Do not believe their fake good reviews, as they probably bought them. I have posted my parcel (200£ worth mobile phone I sold on ebay) with them 2 weeks ago and it still has not been delivered. After a painful process waiting in a queue and talking to their useless assistant Holly - I finally got connected to a real (although not helpful) customer support. My claim has been registered. 4 days after - when I called hermes (and yes, you have to chase for your lost or undelivered parcel yourself, as Hermes has no interest in informing you regarding your lost/stolen parcel). As I feared - Hermes has lost my parcel. My parcel has been collected from a Hermes drop-off point and reached their sorting depot. It has never moved from there - and has not been found since. Very unhelpful and unsympathetic customer support. The best I can hope now is 20£ refund. I am surprised how nobody sued this scam company for negligence. I will NEVER be using this company again and suggest you do the same (unless you want your parcels being lost/stolen by this company). I would give them 0 stars if I could. Disgusting company!!!"

"Everything went wrong - Hermes lost my parcel and despite my trying to contact them every day, you cannot get to speak to a real person. Anything other than a basic query the A.I. just does not help.

Hermes you missed my sons Birthday by a month

No apologies, no compensation - just ignored

Don't use!

"I sent a par electronic through a courier agency but with Hermes. Firstly, that parcel only made it about 100 miles in 3 days from my location to their Rugby facility. This is ridiculous in itself because at that speed that parcel would have got to Germany by Christmas. Secondly, there was an entry scan at that facility but the parcel never left. For a week I tried to find out what was going on until we suddenly had a Hermes delivery driver at our door bringing the parcel back to us. On the parcel it said HS code which indicated the invoice was wrong. But the courier agency was told someone in Rugby thought the German address was wrong. Baffling to me how someone in the UK can judge that. Upon chasing for a clearer explanation they changed their version to "Post Brexit incompatible" but never provided an explanation as to what that means.
I sent the same parcel with with same address by DPD and without a single problem that parcel arrived at the recipient's home 3 days later.

DONT USE HERMES OR MY HERMES

"I wanted to post the below here. I originally posted it against Hermes on trust pilot. Not sure why the company has 2 review pages. If my hermes and hermes were amalgamated on trust pilot, then I'm sure they may do something about their absolutely terrible customer service.

I'm sick to death of calling for no one to answer. Surely they need investigating by someone who can make them respond to paying customers. I cant actually believe ebay wants to deal with a company with such disregard for paying customers

Below is my message, to which I still have not had a response from emails, over 20 hours of waiting on over 25 calls, to not be answered by non existent customer service, and zero response to my edits below... the only pointless response is also included on this post, in the hope that someone at hermes can be bothered to help... im not holding my breath though...

So even more time has passed, another 7 phone calls totalling around 4 hours, three being answered to the sound of silence and an email sent to customer support (if there ever was such a thing at Hermes!!) AND ZERO RESPONSE AGAIN. Time to raise my issue with the independent postal redress scheme as this is definitely a breach of my consumer rights! All this messing about because Hermes are incapable of responding to an issue which is wholly their fault. If only Trust Pilot allowed zero stars for appaling companies such as this.

Just to be clear I sent the parcel, it was collected from me to be delivered, and the only message I get is that the parcel is sitting somewhere in a local depot somewhere in the UK, where it has been for over 3 weeks... which is why I am trying to contact you to help get it delivered, which is what I paid for and has not happened...

What a joke this company is. God help anyone who needs to actually speak to someone! I have had a parcel, which was collected on 5th Jan, sitting in a 'local depot' since the 9th Jan... thats over 3 weeks now. I have called the 'helpline a dozen times, waiting for over 6 hours in total, with no answer at all. I have used the online enquiry, and got a response from someone in IT who couldn't help, and rather than help, told me to go back to the online enquiry, which I did, but can't go any further at it says my enquiry is being dealt with. So, no parcel has been delivered and no one can help. As I said at the start, absolute joke of a company with no staff to answer calls or assist in anyway at all. It looks like they don't respond to reviews here either, so looks like I will have to try and get a response from the senior management which is a real opinion in the a***

"Almost 50 days and still waiting for their delivery guys to collect my percel.. my tracking number is 0901286247116685 and if the company see this please reposnse ..tried their chat service many times and tried calling without any luck ...very frustrating I'm extremely disappointed with their services.. people are already frustrated with covid and lockdown etc ..atlest try to provide a some sort of average service..very poor and only concern of this company to get your money and that it... extremely disappointed and this is not the first time. ..."

I hate when online shops use Hermes

"I hate when online shops use Hermes, lately my parcels delivered via Hermes have gone missing.. the customer services are either computer generated on the app and Facebook and the customer phone line is also computer.
I can’t contact them at all...
5 parcels stated delivered on the app
5 parcels not received
2 parcels was from eBay and the same seller who kindly tried to contact them so one of them was a replacement but he used the same courier which again gone missing or failed to deliver
Shocking service useless app and no way of contacting them
Online shops stop using this company

Customer service non-existent terrible company

"So frustrating they have absolutely no customer service ability whatsoever! The phone number system is crap the phone number Rings forever an ever.

If you've got a worldwide tracking number you can't use the phone number. I just had a parcel sent back to the sender after only one delivery attempt.

I cannot contact Hermes anyway that I try, they have no Twitter facilities absolutely crap worst delivery company. Worst I've ever dealt with in my life and I hope they go bust !!!!!

Nothing but trouble with this company lately.
A parcel that should have arrived Monday not turning up until Friday. Next day deliverys not turning up for a week. Trying to cintact someone is as successful as finding ice in the Sahara!!!
No more online shopping for me. Sorry to the shops I won't be using because of this poor delivery service!;
