"I ordered the Slide Pro-Swap Magic Disk combination pack from mod-chip and received a confirmation of the order being processed the very next day. The package arrived within a six days, as promised. Upon opening the package, I tested the DVD driver disk to see if it worked properly, and it did. However, upon trying the CD driver disk, my machine refused to load the disk and gave me a "disk error" message. I assumed the disk was defective or damaged and emailed mod_chip about my problem and asked for advice or a replacement.
Ostermann, from mod-chip, then sent me an email suggesting that my laser lens was either dirty or needed adjustment. He also sent me some website links which showed me how to either clean or adjust the lens. I took the advice and decided to purchase a laser lens cleaning kit. After cleaning the lens and trying the CD ROM Swap Magic Disk again, everything was working smoothly. Not only that, I believe that my PS2 is working better than before due to the advice from Ostermann.
Prior to buying from mod-chip.com, I tried another vendor because of their slightly lower prices. But after ordering from this other company, it took five days before I heard any word from them. I decided they were unprofessional and canceled my order. Ostermann, from mod-chip.com, on the other hand, was quick, responsive, friendly and very helpful. People may find slightly lower prices at other vendors out there, but no one can even come close to the excellent customer service provided from mod-chip.com. In the future, I will be ignoring all other vendors for my console needs except mod-chip.com. Great work, Ostermann.

I was seeking a replacement part for an item that I had purchased a while ago; however I was under the impression that I had to purchase the whole unit again, simply because replacement parts would not be available, and if they were then they would be very expensive. ordered it friday night / saturday morning, it was sent sunday morning. got it today (friday sept.15). All the way from Autria to Canada in 5 days.. amazing!!
had ZERO problems installing it.. the guides were great quality.. impossible to screw up (just be careful when screwing it back together.. too much pressure will stop it from working).
btw.. it is a DMS4 EZI PRO for PS2 V.10

After the due date of the announced shipping time, I still had not received the package and I sent and e-mail to inquire as to why. I received an immediate reply to double check the shipping address and to my surprise I had neglected to include my office number on the address. I sent and e-mail back saying that I had messed things up and a gentleman named Ostermann replied saying that he would look for the package to be returned and that he would send it back to me. I was a bit skeptical about the packaging at first ... it seemed a bit small and frail to contain a delicate electronic part, but, when I opened it up everything was in order and the part was in great shape. Bundled wires and bits were great, and the install of the part went great largely thanks to the custom install manuals that are offered through mod-chip's website for people who order from them. This was my first time installing a chip and using their instructions and the manufacturer's images, everything went perfectly.
