"These guys are a joke. I order a install kit from them and a few days later I got this reply "The CT23AU04A is not in the US warehouse. And right now no ETA. What is the year and model of the car?" I asked for a refund and i got sent to someone else. Never got refunded and now I have to to dispute the charge through my credit card company. Stay away from these jokers."

"I made an order online and paid via PayPal. I'm glad that I did. I made the purchase on October 30 and never received a confirmation email, tracking number, or indication that the item was backordered. I realized, that I had been waiting nearly 2 weeks for this item, which was holding up the installation, so I first sent an email dispute via PayPal after unsuccessfully being able to contact them via phone because of the time zone differences. The rep named Wayne had poor customer service skills. I simply asked for a refund because I had already purchased an item from another dealer, which sent the item out the same day. Wayne said, "well what am I supposed to do with this item I special ordered for you? You're still going to get the item and that's the way that it is." I'm sorry, this dealer did let me know that the item was backordered, so I found a faster and more reliable dealer, who communicated the progress of the order. Good luck to you and your company. What a way to earn a customer's respect."

"Personal customer service is rare these days. These guys are like a breath of fresh air. I needed some help, so I called them. I was warmly greeted and the information I needed was given very expediently. I will definitely buy from these folks again!"

"Unbelievable. I bought a part that did not work upon installation. (strike one) I called and got a RA number and mailed the part back EXACTLY as they said I needed to. To include insuring it and getting a tracking number. A few days after I mailed it I called to confirm that they had the package. The lady on the phone told me that she had it in hand and would take care of it. 3 weeks later I still have not received my replacement part. After extensive calling (three more weeks) and asking about what I need to do or what needs to be done. I am told that it must have been lost in the mail and that it is on me the customer who should not have lost it.

You can buy these parts from anyone. I suggest going with ANYONE else. I am infuriated.
If you feel like tossing 200 bucks away and being disgruntled then feel free to shop with installer.com.

"ordered a part it was the wrong part sent the part back to them paying the shipping myself i'm waiting for my correct part to be shipped they tell me that i must pay an additional $13.00 for the correct part which was for shipping i paid $7.00 to ship them the return part so now i dont have the right part plus i can not get my money back i should have listen to the salesman at the car dealership when he ask me not to deal with you guys and you wont have to worry about me recomending you to anyone i know so take that $40.oo bucks and enjoy cause you gonna burn in hell for getting over on people"

"Do not buy from here. Installer.com sent me a BROKEN part and would not help resolve the problem. It was a simple bracket with a tab broken. I asked them to send a replacement bracket. Absolutely NO. Asked to speak to the owner. I was told he said I could email, but no, he would not send a replacement part. Jerk."

"I would not buy from them again. They do not allow returns for anything. If you need an exchange they charge a %15 restocking fee. Their prices are no better than anyone else. Customer service is poor to mediocre.

If you know exactly what you are doing and know exactly what you want then they might be competitive pricewise. But why take that chance when from their policy they are only interested in selling you something. Their advice on the website is if you make a mistake, we are so sorry, try ebay cause we don't want that stuff back!

"I contacted the seller before the purchase to make sure I was ordering the correct item. The help desk emailed me back and assured me that the item in question would work with my car, and that it would charge my newest generation iPod Nano through the supplied cable. Upon installation I discovered that the item IPAC-BMW would not charge my iPod. Contacting the seller only resulted in more lies, excuses, and further offers to sell me additional parts to make the original part I ordered work as described. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get your money! Their word means absolutely nothing even if they put it in writing. I was even called a jerk by the owner himself (in writing) because I was asking him to deliver what he promised. These guys operate under: Installer.com, Instaler-parts.com, River Oaks Car Stereo… "
