"I sent my iPod touch in after my toddler dropped it while it wasn't in its usual otterbox and created a crack in the screen. I chose to let iRepair fix it instead of just buying the screen and kit after watching a YouTube video where they show the repair step-by-step and deciding that I wanted it done professionally. Sadly, though it has a new glass screen, the home button was installed crooked when it was reassembled and the upper left part of the glass is unglued and not flush with the device. If I try to push the screen to become flush, then the screen does the odd liquid electronic screen discoloring effect like calculators and other electronics do if pressed on. Additionally, there is damage in multiple places around the rim where they were initially prying it open. The humorous part is that if you watch the instructional video by this company, the man says be careful of wire placement and other parts or it won't be flush. It was this and other critical parts of the disassembly and reassembly steps in the video that I chose to trust experts. I am very dismayed that I could have just bought the kit and had as good of luck with quality. Additionally, I mailed my iPod in a cardboard priority mail small box with bubble wrap stuffing for protection. I received it back in a small simple bubble envelope, which seems to offer no real protection from the post office crushing or bending a $350.00 item (which is not replaceable for some people). I now have the iPod in an otterbox that also cannot be clipped shut due to the screen pressure issue. I just feel that while the glass was replaced, I still got back a fragile half broken device. I cannot say I would send another broken device to iRepair. I will probably have to find the extra money and just get an apple refurbished replacement next time. "
