"At first, seemed like the best option to purchase a lost remote for my 2004 Tacoma. I also over-looked the bad reviews. I placed my order and received a shipping email the next morning. A co-worker placed their order after mine and received it 2 days later. I called asking where my order was and was told my order was on back order and that I should have received and email notifying me of such (I never received this email). I was told it would ship out later that week. I called and chatted on multiple occasions, each time telling me the item was still on back order, but would ship in a couple of days. Each time before I would call or chat, I would look up the item on line, and it would show in stock and ship the same day. I notified them on multiple times that their website needed to be updated. Here it is almost a month later and I again contacted support and my order is still on back order. I also notified them again that their website needs to be updated. I finally cancelled my order after waiting almost a month. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because my co-worker had a decent experience. I, however, did not."

"I found www.ikeyless.com through a first time search for a transponder key. I had checked the auto dealer price for a key and was shocked at how much they wanted. So finding I could buy 2 keys and get them shipped for less than buying 1 key at the dealer was a great surprise. The programming instructions were clear and worked the first time. "

"They do have good service!. But I send a remote back for my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, with tracking & confirmation #. I was told that they got the package with no contents!!!,Just the instruction paper&envelope(OK!).Before I mail it back I spoke with a service rep,(Jayme), I ask her should I put "ATTENTION Jayme", on the envelope?. She told she was the only 1 that opens the mail when it comes!,so no need to.So I wrapped it in bubble plastic folded the remote wrapped in bubble plastic inside the instruction paper&put it inside a envelope,then went to my local post office to mail it off. So a week later when I called(Jayme)to see about my refund, she told that her manager opened the package to find nothing in it but the instruction paper!. Then when I spoke to the manager, he stated the some1 else opened the package!. But regardless who opened it, no1 wanted to help me with my refund. I cant afford the lost of $70 on my by-weekly pay. I have 4 kids & a sick wife to take care of! and I just got beat out of $70!, Why?. cause they don't wanna give me my refund!, Or did the POST OFFICE LOSE/STILL THE REMOTE OUT THE PACKAGE! & delivered the package anyway!. I don't know, but either way it isn't right. Now I have to tell my wife that the $70 that we saved up to spend with ikeyless.com is a lost. :'( ****@****"

"I've ordered several things in the past from iKeyless (remotes, blank keys, etc) My last order was for a flip key for my Mazda. When it arrived to me the first time I found that the remote was broken (used) and had to send it back to them for a replacement. A few days later I got it back and got the key cut and it worked fine. When I tried putting the key on my ring it broke the little plastic nub right away, without much pressure at all! I contacted them, they offered to replace the case for me but I had to send it back to them myself (unlike the first time where they paid shipping). I decided it wasn't that important and just kept the key.

Jump to a few months later (5 months) and the case started cracking and breaking and became so bad the key came off several times. I contacted them again about this crappy case and they offered to fix it for free but again I had to pay shipping. This time I decided to send it back to them.

That was back between 2/18 and 2/25...I hear NO word at all about my key. I decided to contact them again..after calling and leaving a voicemail and emailing two times I finally got a response (on 3/12!) saying that they never realized they received it until 3/12! I then get no word that it was shipped until I email back on 3/18 when I receive this:

"Thanks for the message. We've processed your order, but there isn't any updated shipping information as of yet. Here's the USPS tracking number on your order so can track it when it does update." and a tracking number.

The tracking number says the shipping info was received, but the item seems to not have shipped yet. I contacted them again today (3/22) and am told it was not shipped until 3/21 because they were "out of stock." You're kidding, right? You told me it was shipped one day, the next day you tell me you were out of stock and didnt ship it until a week later!?

And what do I get out of this? "I am very sorry sir, we deeply apologize." Thanks a lot.

EDIT: With the response below I figured I would add something to my review.
While I understand that my key is well out of the 90-day period, it's a little ridiculous that my key has broken three times in 5 months (DOA Remote, broken key holder, broken case). What's even more ridiculous is that they blatantly lied to me about shipping my key back. As of today, I have STILL not received my key and my tracking number has STILL not been changed from "Shipping info received."

EDIT #2:
I contacted iKeyLess again today because my shipping information has still not changed, I was informed that my item has STILL not been shipped and it may not be for another two weeks because they don't have the parts! When I asked why I was told three times that my key was shipped I was told: "I'm not sure why they are telling you this. Apparently they are not checking the tracking number." It has now been over a month since I returned my key..and now it's going to be at least another two weeks.

Buyer beware.

***UPDATE 4/22/2013***
After three weeks I did not receive my key. I then called their support number and spoke to a wonderful woman named Stephanie. After speaking with her for five minutes, she told me she would research the issue then call me back. Sure enough, in 10 minutes she called me back and told me that the person who was handling my repair was no longer there and my key may in fact have been shipped out. I explained to her my entire situation and she finally concluded by offering to send me a brand new, uncut key to replace my lost one. I accepted the offer and sure enough, three days later I have a brand new key in hand.

Thank you Stephanie, you helped me more in 10 minutes than anyone else there has in 2 months. This will be the last time I purchase from iKeyless. A bit or advice for anyone contacting them, DO NOT USE THE CHAT..apparently they have no idea what they are talking about. Call them, and call them often.

*****MAY 8TH UPDATE*****
The brand new key that was sent to me didn't work. Contacted them, they told me they would send an RMA, never got it. Called back, they offered me a refund. I sent the key back, got my refund confirmation and now I'm waiting for it to be put back into my account.

"After buying a used car and only getting one remote with it, using the old school method of opening the doors with my key got real old. So I looked online to see how to get another remote, and I can across iKeyless. They have been great to work with. I got what I needed, and I am very happy!!! Now I only have to use my key to start the car, I guess I should start looking for a newer car that has a push button start, Ha Ha Ha!"

"I read so many bad reviews after i had already placed my order for a honda civic remote. I was hoping that it wouldnt turn out like all the reviews i had read. "Hi, I traded in my Maxima for a same year, (2002) Pathfinder. The vehicle came with only one key, and the key fob was cracked. After Googling, your web site came up, and I had no idea I could buy the parts I needed. I was impressed! I purchased a new Key & Fob, and a new shell & battery for my existing key. They shipped immediately, and I was surprised to get them two days later...up here in CT. The programming video was straight forward, and I programmed both fobs in about 30 seconds. I was so pleased, I called to let you know it. Jamie was very pleasant on the phone, and told me about your offer, I said I'd be happy to. My uncle stopped by the house when the package showed up. He was impressed how they exactly like the originals. He's going to look at a replacement for his 2002 Tundra, and asked what site I used. I would recommend you guys to anyone.

"I have 1999 Toyota Sienna and the key has given me problem since last November. At first, the door lock switch would turn lock on and off when the key was inserted. I did not know the problem till last month when I accidently removed the key while engine was on. I suspected the key cylinder at first. I started to search web site and found ikeyless had my car key cylinder. I called and they told me I should try to replace the key. They also told me it is very easy to set the key with transponder. So, I ordered the blank key and took to lock smith to make copy for $2.00. I followed the instruction was provided in the package. At beginning, it did not work for me. I called ikeyless and Jamie was very helpful and was very patient. She asked me to try again which I did, it took me no time at all to set up the program and it worked. I saved well over $150.00 and the on/off condition was gone. I totally recommend this company. They are great.
