"We purchased a Toyota keyless entry remote from iKeyless & then discovered we were unable to use the remote. We contacted iKeyless and asked about return policy. They were understanding to our problem and gave us the information on how to return the remote. The return policy was easy and we would have no hesitation to purchase again from this company in the future."

"I was introduced to ikeyless by a very good friend when I complained about the cost the dealers charge for replacing the remote for my jeep. During the last month, I have ordered that remote and on another occasion I also bought a transponder key for my Dodge Magnum. Both shipment arrived promptly in 3 days as was promised,also included in both deliveries were instructions on how to program the key and the remote. I not only saved 50%-60% on the price the key and the jeep remote. I did not have to pay anybody to program my purchases which is more money that I saved. This firm is a good place to do business with. If anybody needs anything like transponder keys or remote door openers, I recommend this company without hesitation."

"I ordered a remote for our Kia the early part of March - I got a 'shipping notice' but when a week went by and still no remote I called customer service (very hard to get thru to them) I was told that the item was on backorder and that it would be shipped in a few days when it was expected in -- I waited another 10 days - still nothing when I emailed them i was told it's 'still on back order' - i then requested a credit since it was now almost a month of waiting. About 10 days later I emailed customer service again to ask it the item was in stock and I was told 'yes' it is in stock - but that I should call them immediately I want to order the remote --- I immediately called and placed an order - also confirm with that young lady that the remote was in stock - she told me it would ship out either later that day or the next day --- well surprise - surprise - the exact same that happened - i got notice that the item was shipped - waited for it to arrive and when it didn't i contacted customer service again and was told the remote is on backorder!!!!! I can't believe this company I would strongly suggest you get your remotes etc elsewhere - i ended up
ordering my from Amazon - it was cheaper and it arrived in less
than a week after i placed the order --- I have NEVER delt with a company that is soo ineffient - or else they just don't care and have no problem lieing to their customers - either way go elsewhere Oh one more thing it took them over a week to credit my card this time - no excuse for that

"I had a reasonably good experience buying a replacement key fob for my my car. I lost the cover on my key fob so I searched and found a used one for sale by iKeyless. It was only $15, but when it arrived the back cover was a little damaged (the plastic on two of the corners was broken). I emailed iKeyless to explain my disappointment and they offered me some choices for returns/exchanges and eventually they agreed to send me a new shell for my key fob free of charge. So I thought that was cool. "

"I recently ordered a new remote fob for my 2004 Pontiac Vibe. It did arrive in a timely fashion. But when I opened the package, I was very surprised to find that not only was it a used fob, it was beat up, and dirty.

I don’t mind used. I do mind that iKeless hides the fact that some items are used on their "terms" link at the bottom of the page -- something no one is likely to read. They could very easily have a prominent link stating “please read our terms before ordering.”

Instead, they clearly imply that it is new – first, by giving the dealer price (dealers don’t sell used fobs), then showing how much one saves off that price. Second, they state that this is an genuine “factory OEM” which also implies new, since factories don’t sell used fobs.

I did drop them an email and received a reply stating I should have read that "terms" page, which would have told me that some products are reconditioned. Well, if “reconditioned” means slapping a new battery in it, then they have a pretty narrow definition of the term. The fob was filthy inside and around the edges, and the plastic case looked like a dog had chewed on it.

Since it does work, however, I’m going to keep it, which is what I'm sure they hoped for in the first place – that people won’t bother to return the device once they have it. I will, however, not purchase from them again, and I’ll go out of my way to tell others not to do so either. Why? Because their business practices are intentionally misleading.

I too have a business. I occassionally allow product to be returned from retailers that has sat on their shelves. These items, though functionally new, show wear and tear from being handled by consumers. I would never sell these items as new, even though they would be in far better condition than the fob that iKeyless sent me. If I do sell them, I'm always up front that the item shows signs of wear. iKeyless could have chosen that route. The fact that they don't shows just how little regard they have for their customers.

"There was an unexpected delay in shipping the keyless remote order for my friend Nancy's 2005 Subaru Forester. Jamie offered to cancel and refund the money if I wanted to look elsewhere but I chose to stay with it. When it finally arrived Nancy and I but were unable on the first attempt to program the device, spending the better part of a frustrating hour in the attempt. Called Jamie the following day and told her that "a mind is a terrible thing to lose" so please help! She was very, very gracious and supportive and, as a result, the second attempt a few days later was successful.

Nancy's friend Nat subsequently saw how well hers worked and asked me to order one for his 1990 Cadillac Deville, which I did today. I'm left with a very good feeling about this company over and above their offering an excellent product at a bargain price and would recommend it for anyone looking for this type of item, something in fact I'll do when I'm at church this coming Sunday.
